She had made the decision that she could no longer stay in the Villa. There were too many memories, seeing Dakota's face in everything. There was no way she was going to be able to move on with her life like that.

The realtor was a pleasant enough lady and Rosie described what she wanted. A list of homes was created and Rosie and Pam, the realtor, would start that very afternoon.

After visiting five or six homes, our little red head was beginning to get discouraged. Either they were out of her price range, or they were too small or too big, or just plain what she didnt' want. So when they came across the modestly sized ranch home just on the outskirts of town, her heart lept. Yes, this was the one!

The doorway opened up into a nice little foyer, with a coat closet to the right. That led into the living room. To the left of the living room was the kitchen. The kitchen ran down the entire side of the house. It was HUGE!
As you'd walk into the living room, there was an L shaped hallway that began in the left corner and ran behind the living room. Along that hall way were three doorways. Two led to bedrooms and one a small guest bathroom. The master bedroom was the last room down the hall. It was decently sized and had a bathroom of it's own, to the right as you entered from the hall. There was a basement, and it had been finished as a huge pantry. The basement extended under the house completely.

The exterior was brick with green shutters on the windows and doors.

Yes, she'd take the house and the paperwork making the first offer on the home started immediately.

The next day, the acceptance of her offer had come through. She'd shaved about 15000 crowns from the asking price and was simply amazed that the owner wanted to sell that quickly.

Stepping into Pam's office, still in her Deli uniform, she was greeted by the receptionist and waited until Pam was ready for her, flipping through the current copy of the Oracle.

Pam would emerge from her office and usher Rosie in to sign the paperwork needed for the mortgage. The owner had already signed the forms needed to sign the house over and would have no further part in the proceedings.

And just like that, she became a homeowner, with keys in her hand as she left the realtor's office.
