A week or so after the package was delivered to Rosie's door, she receives the following letter from Rina.

"Dear Rosie,

Unfortunatley this letter is not as cheerful as the last. Dirk Stevens fired me from the Deli while we were both at the RhyDin Inn. He didn't agree with the fact that I talked to much. He was under the influence of a Long Island Ice Tea which contains a fair amount of alcohol. I have turned in my apron. Just making you aware. Don't worry about it though. I will come and help out if you need me.

When she received the note, she frowns darkly. Just what was Dirk up to now? Dirk knew better than to be intoxicated while in uniform. She'd have to talk to Dean about this. He'd know the best way to handle that.

She picks up pen and her pad of paper and begins writing.

"Rina,

I will get to the bottom of this. I've never had a reason to doubt your loyalty or work ethic. Please disregard what Dirk has told you. I never undermine my managers, but, as you said, he was under the influence.

Please come to visit me. I'll have your uniform ready.

Your twin,

Rosie"

And, of course, this too was dropped into the slot for the delivery.

She had just finished feeding Daniel and had him up on her shoulder, burping him, when the knock came to the door. She bounces her step lightly, patting him on the back. "C'mon li'l guy, give Mommy a burp." She says in a sing song voice only mothers can master.

Walking to the door she opens it up and is very pleasantly surprised to see Rina there. "Come on in out of the cold!" She steps back and waits for her to come in. "I do hope you can sit a spell. Would you like some coffee?"

"It's so good to see you!" She smiles as she lay Danny down in his basinette and covered him lightly with a receiving blanket. They were in the living room and away from any drafts. He was in a blankie snugly so she wasn't worried about him getting cold. She gently caresses that dark head of hair before she turns back around towards Rina.

"I'm doing just fine. Sammie and Sadie have been a big help in getting the house decorated. I'm afraid I'm still a little slow for them. I just sit at the table wtih ribbon and glue and make bows." She laughs merrily and settles into a chair. She waves her arm towards the couch. "Please, have a seat."

She folds her hands in her lap and crosses her feet at the ankles, right over left. Leaning forward slightly she smiles proudly. "Danny's Daddy's little guy. He dotes over Danny so much."

Whether or not Rina wanted to talk about it or not, Rosie wanted to make the apology face to face. "Rina, I'm sorry about what happened wtih Dirk. Dean's talked to him and it won't happen again, I assure you."
