While they were in town for the holidays, Dirk decides to visit his old haunts. One of the places that he wanted to go to more than any other was his place of former employment. He wanted to visit the Deli. It'd been a long while since he had been there and he wanted to make sure that all was going well. Not just for his brother, Dean, but for the promise he made while kneeling besides Rosie's memorial.

Clutching his apron in his hand, he opens the door and steps inside. As he use to do when he was working there, he threw his arms out wide and grinned his goofiest grin. "Good afternoon crew!" he yells at the top of his lungs, then brings his arms down, hands clapping on his thighs.

Sadie came out of the office and laughs with a shake of her head as she approached him. "Welcome back, stranger. I see you came to work." Hugging him tightly, then stepping back to allow the other wait staff that knew him to get their greetings in as well.

"Damn straight." he laughs. Up nods and hugs, high fives and hand shakes to those that offer. "Can't keep me away for too long." As he makes his way towards the back. "So which station do you need me at?"

Sadie grabs a few menus and a note pad. Holding them out to Dirk, she grins. "You get to be a waiter today. Sam called out sick. Have fun!" She smirks then walks back towards the kitchen with a bit of a swagger. She knew that Dirk hated waiting tables the most. Her pony tail swayed along her back.

Dirk takes the menus and the notepad and sets them onto a table. He dons his apron and then picks up the menus and notepad. "Ok, who's first?" he turns and starts to a table.
