The small one had begun the day with helping with hauling laundry from the upper floors to the lower one. She took it all to the back hall, to one of the rooms where the washing tubs and folding tables were.

For a couple of hours, the bedding and curtains were scrubbed, rinsed and hung for the drying.

And while these were drying, 'jira took the time to eat and rest while doing so. The hours slid one into the other until small, slight form slipped from the inn to take an apple to livery for her horse.

Softly, she lay her head against his neck while he crunched on the large piece of fruit. Days were waning and growing colder, but she took little notice of it except when she darted back between the buildings of the livery and the inn.

There was more to do, including seeing to the dusting of Sid's room she kept at the inn. Thoughts turned to Panther while she carefully cleaned and dusted the Ancient's room. She opened the window long enough to air out the area, then closed it again to keep it from growing too cold within. Then left the room, but not before she remembered to lock it.

A few pairs of boots and shoes set outside of their rooms were picked up on her way along the hallway, gathering them up in lithe arms. She took them with her for a cleaning and buffing. More for the doing, arms full and heading down the stairs to seeo to them by the light of the hearth.
