Its tall green grasses waved upon the warm breeze and from the great bolders poured fresh water into the lake that was big enough for swimming in.
S'jira had arrived upon Trygg just after the dawning of the day so that it was as cool as possible still. A new dress of white had been purchased the year before and a stitching of flowers was done by her hands along the right sdie of its neck.
Pallid skirts of the summer dress trailed against the saddle only long enough as she slid from the back of Trygg and dropped down to her feet on the grassy ground. The black horse was a large one to begin with, but all the more in comparison to 'jira with such a delicate height as hers.
But the swim she intended was distracted from when she saw that something like a target, wooden and looking akin to a shield as tall as she was, could be seen leaning against the ancient tree that stood near the waters.
She pulled her summerleather boots off and put them in the pouch attached to Trygg's saddle before she carefully wandered towards the tree and shield alike. What she found surprised her. The small one eased down, crouching before the wooden shield and reached out for a bow. Before she had touched it, she recognized the symbols and deocations on it to be Elven -- though she could not have read at all even one of them.
It was a lovely thing and surprisingly light that she dropped it at first. Then 'jira picked it up again to gain a bettered look at it. She stood and looked about the Glen, the waters of it, the fields of green and gold, as well as in the direction where caves were told to her to be, along with the edge of the nearby woods.
But none could be seen within the area.
With care, she leaned it against the great, ancient oak where she could keep it in sight before she slid out of the summer dress to take the cool-watered swim she had come to the Glen for that a heart needed it as much as form did.
