When the work at the inn was finished, the market was headed for. The simple, brown shortcloak was about a dress of blue that was sashed with white. Fingers curled over the strong handle of the empty basket.

Dark eyes bore a smile to those she passed along the way, even with the occasional feeling of trepidation that some of the seedier individuals of the realm brought her heart.

Today, she refused any worry that Gracus and the others had caused her. Today, she was gently selfish and thought of Panther and the talk of lighter things.

Since the talk of the loft she had been stirring about ideas of what to get to put within it once the area was complete. More importantly, she needed clothing that would not snag like her skirts would when helping with the work of it.

With the weather warming, albeit slight, there were more in the marketplace that morning than some others. Her boots softly shuffed against the cobblestones. She glanced towards the booths and waved to one of the vendors selling cloth.

"S'jira! Do you need more thread? Some beads today?" The plump, older woman smiled at her as if S'jira was an endearing child of five.

"Good morning to you, Nisha. Yes, if you have more of the same. The wedding dress is not finished yet for the need of both. "

Nisha pushed a lock of red and grey hair back over her shoulder and eyed her curiously while she gathered up thread and pouch of beads. "And when will you marry?"

S'jira blinked a little and nearly dropped the basket. She glanced away from Nisha even as she felt her own face warm in the cold, morning air. For a while, she watched the other market-goers. "It was never something meant.. for me." Clearing her throat as her voice failed her a bit.

"Not what I asked, S'jira." Nisha chuckled and shook her head. The question was not pressed as the girl's reaction was amusement enough. "How is our fine Panther, hm?"

"He is well." Managed through her smile. S'jira neared the woman's booth to look closer at some bolts of cloth. Her fingertips of an empty hand moved against them idly.

"That's good. Thale said she didn't like him, but I suppose that's because she's never really met him. You know her. Few find favor in that old seadog's eyes." Nisha grinned S'jira's way. "Now, are you needing something else?"

"No. These will do today. Can you get more of the beads and thread? It is feared they will run out before the task is fully finished."

"I've already told one of my travelling merchants to get some more. So don't worry." Nisha waved as S'jira offered the same.

Thread and beads put into the basked, S'jira moved off to the clothing stall. A man's tunic and pants were bought, more to the size a young man would be seen wearing in order to fit her. When the coins were exchanged, she neatly folded the garments and added them to the basket.

The market was enjoyed for a few more hours, adding to the basket until it was overflowing with spices for cooking, the clothes, beads and thread, bee's wax for the wood of the loft, strip cloths for cleaning any windows, and one of the special flowers that she had put into Panther's room over the last several months.

With a heavy basket and light heart, she moved out of the marketplace along the way that lead back to the Red Dragon Inn.
