:: she had never been so bored in all her life. Myllyanna sat in the dead dark. She sat in a shadow of the nightly lit room, watching the street from her high window. Slowly she had started to pick at the armrest of the chair, the snarl on her upper lip growing and she didn't care.
Was it the times? The place? the Plane? the Era? Gods she didn't know, but she did know she hated it, despised it even! Her silver layered nails start carving at the wood now under the torn padding.
"most people around me are too stupid to be entertaining," she growled to herself as she rose to her feet and walked across the room to it's other window. She was pinning for anything even remotely like old times.
She planted her hands on the window sill and let her head hang just enough to touch her forehead to the glass. Feeling it's coolness hurt faintly. With a sigh she realized as much as she had tried to change.. she never would... never could! She needed to feel the chaos.
She turned slowly and walked away from the window. Her stappy heel'd feet padded silently one in front of the other across the plush carpet of the room she'd taken for rent above the store. And just as slowly and steady as she was thinking... she took her seat again... starting to think of a cure::
