:: she had never been so bored in all her life. Myllyanna sat in the dead dark. She sat in a shadow of the nightly lit room, watching the street from her high window. Slowly she had started to pick at the armrest of the chair, the snarl on her upper lip growing and she didn't care.

Was it the times? The place? the Plane? the Era? Gods she didn't know, but she did know she hated it, despised it even! Her silver layered nails start carving at the wood now under the torn padding.

"most people around me are too stupid to be entertaining," she growled to herself as she rose to her feet and walked across the room to it's other window. She was pinning for anything even remotely like old times.

She planted her hands on the window sill and let her head hang just enough to touch her forehead to the glass. Feeling it's coolness hurt faintly. With a sigh she realized as much as she had tried to change.. she never would... never could! She needed to feel the chaos.

She turned slowly and walked away from the window. Her stappy heel'd feet padded silently one in front of the other across the plush carpet of the room she'd taken for rent above the store. And just as slowly and steady as she was thinking... she took her seat again... starting to think of a cure::

returning from a meeting...

"Fool," She snarled as she shut the door behind her. Unbelievably she was happy and would be for a while. The meeting had gone well, better then she expected. "Thinking I will bend like the whore or the spineless cows he has at home at just a touch. But, one fool I shall have to watch closely."

She paused in mid-step, tapped her nail on her lower lip in thought. A long steady thought as she looked into the darkness of the living room.
Talomar was as simple to predict, as he was complicated. She continued walking over to an antique lamp and brought it to life with a turn switch.

"Perhaps though he is easily entertained with any woman throwing herself in front of him... he's smarter then that.? She crossed her arms and looked at the lamp with its delicate tiffany shade. She knew she would have to figure out if he was a Wolf or the sheep in the others clothing.

Hanzo came to the shop, as he was instructed to do by Mylly. Glancing around for a moment nothing had his interest except for the poison that could be taken orally. He spotted some and raised a brow. ``Perhaps she just restocked.``

Stepping up the staircase, he sat patiently for Mylly to recognize he was here. ``I'm here, Miss Silver, just as you told me to do at the Inn. `` With that, he saw her step in from the next room with a slight smile on her face. He didn't know if it was out of disgust or anticipation, he just waited for her to say something.

She motioned for him to follow her up the stairs and led him into a sitting room of sorts. The smell of brewing tea filled the room as light filtered in through a combination of hanging and fanning plants near the window.

"We have much to talk about," she ran her fingers across the back of a chair she was offering him in the dark paneled room. "Please have a seat."

She sat across from him on the lounging part of a red chaise, behind her framing the chaise was a black wood screen depicting the four seasons in mother of pearl and jade chips and shavings.

"I understand the part of pay by the job as we talked of earlier. But as to a personal guard," Myllyanna paused and poured two cups of the strong chai from a black small kettle. She moved one for him to easily take.
"I am curious has to find out where and how your loyalties lie, if I am to trust you with a part of my life."

She settled her silver-flecked eyes on his face, her expression plain until she raised a slender eyebrow. She continued, "After all I believe action justifies the reward, for I have the means. But I also have the means when it comes to punishing those who fail as well."

He followed her up the stairs as told, lifting his gaze higher so it would not be level with her lower back. After standing near her for a brief moment he nodded and a seat, feeling very at home, it reminded him of his residence in Japan.

He remained silent and continued to let her speak, all the while managing to keep eye contact with her. Nodding in appreciation, he took the tea and poured a rather unnecessary amount of sugar in the cup, quietly stirring.

``Well..loyalties..`` He paused to think about that for a moment. ``I will be forced to resign if I am in the position to harm my beloved Charna..`` He blushed a little.

``Charna Lyndria, perhaps would be priority of the moment, she is my master of sorts. But I doubt you will cross paths with her, or get involved with any means. But other than that, I will do whatever it takes to guard you, m'lady. I have no hidden connections or nothing of that sort. Though I am a ninja, I am trustworthy.`` He took a sip of his chai and discreetly licked the remnants from his lips.

I am.. curious on this punishments however. Death.. well.. I am impervious all blades, even those of the enchanted genre. Beheading.. impaling of the heart.. *He shook his head.* None of that you, will work. I won't betray you or fail to protect, I will promise you that. *A slight smirk as he continued to sip his tea.*

Nodding she spoke after taking a small sip of tea.

"I have no ill will against Charna. And I will trust you as far as you have stated. I will how ever expect you to be the same in return. Even though there is none of 'love' between us."

She smirked for a moment having caught the blush the man had. Such a silly emotion love.

"I would expect you to do the same none the less. Being your employer and ninja I doubt you will bite that hand that feeds you." Myllyanna set her cup down and folded her hands in her red silked lap. her back was straight as one bred from the oldest schools though she was much more forward then her counterparts of high breeding.

"As far as death, there are always ways." she gave him a grin because she knew he knew it as true. "But I simply stated action and reaction. I brought up no death to be worried about unless you have other plans."

"If I hire you on to work for me, you understand that none of my business associates shall be harmed unless I say. No matter their past with each other. I have too many contacts and not all of them can like each other. It's just not possible. And I would expect your loyalties with me to lay deep enough that my business, stays my business. Am I correct?"

She waited for him to mull it over a moment as she took up her tea again.

Hanzo mock pouted at his employer. ``No love hmm..I feel so crushed, I secretly had feeling for you, Miss Silver.`` His voice was sarcastic all along, he punctuated his sentence with a smirk.

`` Yes, I do not do anything unless you say. Basically, I am your attack dog. And believe me, I have no intent in snooping around in your business. That would be just.. rude.``

Another sip of his tea before closing his eyes. He cocked his head to the side, he wasn't looking at nothing in particular but he was popping a few stiff joints in his neck which in some could be heard.

``A rather lovely place you have here, Miss Silver. But, now that I have understood your expectations and parameters of you hiring me, I doubt you will want me here any longer. Do I show myself out..?``

She spared a chuckle to his first comments.

"I'm glad we understand eachother. That is the first step is it not. And I would trust you would come to me should you need anything or have a question of any sort."

Myllyanna put her cup down back to it's saucer before she gave him a quick grin and spoke.

"And please, once you have had enough tea feel free to leave. You know where the door is." She meant that, for him to have enough tea to his liking, it was a custome of both their people.

"You may come back when ever you need or like, but please announce and wait down stairs incase I am in a meeting. I know it's needless to say these things to you, you have the required tact."

``If I can have as much tea as I like, I believe my welcome would be worn out rather quickly.``

A snicker before taking a small sip of his tea. He knew tea was not supposed to be gulped down and gulping seemed rude in the presence of a lady. Another sip and the tea was gone. But he poured one last cup and watched as the legion of tiny sugar crystals sink into the bottom of the tea cup. A brisk stirring before inhaling the scent.

``Oh, Miss Silver. Since you are my boss now, is there anything in particular you request of me to call of you? Madam.. boss.. or will Miss Silver do just fine..?`` A small sip as his eyes never left hers.

"How about you try calling her by her real name," the deep voice boomed through the upstairs room as the door was thrown open. "It's 'Sliver', not 'Silver', you idiot."

Count Longden entered Myllyanna's apartment for a meeting with the woman whom he had hired to run his WestEnd operations. However, if Hanzo was working for her, he might just have to withdraw that offer. He'd have to decide depending upon her explanation.

He stood there in his long, black sable coat as he removed his black, leather gloves. Eyes of black and seemingly lined by kohl managed to shine brilliantly in the light of the room.

"I believe she's about to request of you to leave. 'Your boss' and I have some business to discuss."

"Talomar," her voice was pure charming and her smile matched as she greeted him. She stood smoothly and then looked to Hanzo...

"That will be all. I will call you when I need to." Her attention went back to the massive man now in her door way and moved her hand welcoming him in. "Shall we get started."

She watched Hanzo with her hand on her hip, she knew not another word would be said until the shop and appartment where empty.

``Idiot hmm Talomar..?`` A raised brow as he descended the staircase.

``Think whatever you wish to Count, but I'll hold my tongue for now.`` His departure was noted as the door closed downstairs, shooting an icy glare at the driver of Talomar's carriage driver.

Once she heard a sound only her ears could hear, she walked over to the window. Brushing the heavy red silk curtains and pampered fern leaves aside, she looked out onto the street below.

She didn't feel the need to ask or invite Talomar to have a seat. He would sit if he wanted. She let the curtains fall back, hanging in graceful sways omitting visage from the street. She pulled and placed a cigarette in that eccentric long holder of hers and lit it as she turned away from the window.

"No one can ever say you don't make an impact on entrance." She crossed her arms infornt of her loosely, clove smoke and lotus scented perfume drifted into the air around her. She had a shiny red tint to her doll like lips that moved into a coy smile, and a sparkle was set in her deep eyes as she walked closer to him.

He laid his black, sable overcoat over a chair and placed his gloves upon the coat; then looked at the back of his new manager as she stood at the window, admiring her silhouette, memorizing every curve of her body. When she approached him he took several steps toward her and placed a kiss upon her cheek.

?You look lovely, my dear,? he said softly against her ear, then pulled away and looked about the room. ?I try to be as inconspicuous as possible when I enter a room. I?m terribly shy, you know.? He couldn?t hide the smirk that creased his lips, so he just gave in and added a wink.

?We?ve got much to talk about. My little endeavor here in the WestEnd is soon to become a hive of activity. We must be prepared.?

:: after the meetings Mylly had returned to her specialty decor'd apartment above the Lotus. She missed ShinKa dearly even as she stepped across the threshold of the West End living quarters.

She sighed and threw her silk gloves and coat over the parlor chair as she walked further. the door slowly, silently shutting behind her and locking. There were actually a few things she missed. She stopped at the picture window, pushing aside the climbing and fanning plants, she was outlined by a small dim light as she looked down on streets.

"Ami, my tea." a small girl who looked just as oriental as Mylly took small steps back and was out of sight. Ami was Mylly's favorite maid, quiet, sweet, and loyal. More loyal then anyone that was not straight blood. Ami could stand unnoticed for hours under a shadow in a room and seem to blend in, never seen by visitors as she went about her chores. It took no time for a steaming cup to be held up humbly waiting for Myllyanna to take.

"Rest my bird, I have need of an ear," she said as she took the cup. Ami knew her presence was more a wish, a comfort, she smiled softly and kneeled, bowing her head slightly. Ami would listen with love and no judgment, nor advice.

Things are running smoothly and going well for us here in West End,? she paused. ?yet my boredom is setting in, deeper then ever before.?

She took a sip of her tea as she caught glimpse of a small lighted boat over the rooftops , it moved down the river lazily, and then disappeared out of view.

?I miss my daughter Ami.?
?Bleijza.?
?Yes. She?s resting, dead for many years. She deserves her slumber with her ancestors after all she?s been through in my name. Otherwise I would bring her back to me.?

She held the bone china cup in her hands, slowly sipping from it as she turned from the window pacing the length of the room so slow she was almost unaware she even moved. On one of the walls, a shrine sat open, it?s candle soft glow and thin trails of scented smoke held her gaze and caused her to stop. Ami knew her Mistress was listening to something.

?I think it?s time for me to find a mate. Company or another, could he prove his strength enough.?
?The vampire.?
?No, though I am sure most would expect something like that. We are business partners that simply see the same desire in the same places. Power. Our private meetings are just that, meetings and private. Let the little ones think what they will. They fear what they can't know or don't understand. Besides it only feeds the nightmare they make up between each other.?

She walked away from the shrine and back to the window.

?Eternal and powerful? it is tempting, he is too distracted by women and is pledged to them, it?s almost mortal-like.?

Ami was unable to mask her own peaked curiosity at hearing this. Even though she thought that was what was planned, her Mistress was always turning a new chip over in this game she played. ::

Time had gone by, the river it always seemed never to dam by fleshful hands.

Mylly turned on a single small lamp that rested on the parlor table in her themed office. With a look around she wondered which emotion she should be feeling at this moment. She was pleased to be back, but her adventure was much more exciting. She quirked a brow at herself and made way to open the curtians and let a little fresh air inside. Drapes of heavy red silks and linens parted ways to give veiw to the spring night streets outside her shop. Ami had been around, noted, keeping the place free from too much dust... but only a few over her window plants had died during the last part of winter.

I'll just buy new ones. she marked in her mental notes, plus she had a few seedlings in her cases now she wanted to try.

The stroll about her mock apartment may have seemed to be one giving count of possessions, but instead she could only think of the ruins and jungle she had visited in the south, far south. Far far far away where she could think of her next moves. She needed to adjust fire at this point. Not to forget about the little bird that whispered to her about the ado around here, even if some was about nothing. It was time to come back.

She would be sending Ami out and about, but she would be needing more hands soon. Dirty could take care of the Club, after all he's been doing well enough. But what of the others?

Maris had told Mylly that he had a plan that would get him safely to her place to have some. In addition to his normal dress, he replaced his plain old t-shirt that had no message or text on it with one that said "Easy Target." The chimera planned on the psychology that it wouldn't be true of him. It worked well enough to get him there, not a soul touched him or the bouquet of lilies and lotus that he'd promise to bring along for the meeting between the two of them. Looking about Mylly's store he called out. "Hey Mylly? You around here?"

To be totally honest he felt a bit nervous acutally coming here. Anything that dealt with the WestEnd made him uneasy, since he grew up on Rhy'Din's East Side. That was the more ritzy and rich part of town. He always had tried to be modest about this privleged upbringing but sometimes it was hard to deal with the other elements of the Rhy'Dinain urban jungle.

She had heard the faint chime of the bell over the door when he had entered, at the moment she was extracting a very curious siamese from a fine net covered cage in the back room. Shooing the feline ahead of her, she parted the beaded curtian with one hand, the other guiding the fragile bird like cage through with the other.

The smell of jasmine and clove swept into the room, clinging to red silks she wore. Her hair pinned up but lazily and the wrap open about her neck exposing the china white skin of her neck and collar bones. The perfumes gave her shop that antique mystic scent. It fit in perfectly to the clicking of beads falling against eachother, to rest.

A perfect smile lit on her face as she spoke finding him not to far. "Maris, excuse the cat." down at thier feet the cat turned small lazy circles. Mylly's flecked eyes went from Maris to the flowers and back, a grin turning the side of her mouth into a half grin half smile. "You remembered I see. Come, this way."

Leading him up stairs lined handwove red carpet, the sound of the front door locked behind them. She had the package upstairs in theas well as the blue print, if you will, drawn for the weapon and item she needed him to make.

As they entered the lush parlor and it's living quarters, hot tea was waiting as well as warmed plum wine she knew Amiee had left ready.

"Help yourself, and please feel at home." she walked past the heavy drapes and plants and into the private living suite. "I'm
just going to change. "

"Alright ", Removing his coat, fishing into the out pocket pulling out a few flexible measures. Taking a deep breath before helping himself to a mug of tea. To him due to his inabilites just tastes bland.

Myllyanna had left the curtians to the quarters open, of course she could keep an eye on him via strategic mirror, she didn't pretend to have modesty and slipped from clothes easily.

"You can't taste the tea, but know it costs a man his life getting it." she spoke from the other room.

"Yes, I can tell it's quite smooth Myl." Trying to see where the voice was
coming from,, just hard to figure where all the sounds go in a place he's not familiar with.

She pulled a white lounge silk about it, of course it fell away from her shoulder and neck, then looked at him as she tied it her hip as she walked into the main part of the room. "I hope you don't mind, I need a close fit."

"No not at all Mylly. Tea first then work?" "Please,"she loved her tea and
everyone knew it, "it will be the death of me I think."

Motioned for him to have a seat as she sat herself and poured a cup," Maris, tell me a little about yourself..."

(conversation removed to keep rp element)

Mylly had actually enjoyed the private talk the shared over tea, quiet, meant for no others ears. That was rare any more. As she turned away, looking over her shoulder at him. "The item I want you to make for me Maris? That must tell you a few things, even if I have not?"

"Of course, what I have figured, correct me if I'm wrong on this Myl. But I think you only want certain people to be able to get in close with you. Weather that's from a lack of trust or just a desire keep an unattainable air about you. None the less, I think I should feel honored that you nvited me into your home and business. You have enough faith in my work that you wish for me to be invovled with ya."

Grinning more as his hands come to rest on her hips, then slowly travel along her body, it's more analyical in his touch, measuring her.
She had offered a way they could become allied. After all he had been one of her better friends.

"Of late I don't I've been able to confind as much a person in Rhy'din lately as I have you."
" I'm glad you trust me enough Maris,"her words are true as they slip from her lips," You have been more then just a friend to me all this time, I've grown quite found of you and wouldn't dream of hurting you. But," she had picked up the tapes from the table as she had walked around im early as they talked, and held them now between them and added a sultry lilt to her voice, "I want to hurry and get business out of the way."

"Right I'm sorry," Taking the tapes and standing up to look at her as the cold nylon of the measuring tap was place tighlty around her hips.
Mylly couldn't help but smile as she lifted her arms out of the way atching
his hands then his face.

"You are right for the most part, I don't want people to get too close, and if I let the wrong ones close, I want to be protected. I am sure you know the feeling."

Nodding making a mental note of the hip measurement before taking the waist measurment. "I learned that from past mistakes, but haven't we all?

"Yes, I'll agree, wait though..." she pauses his hands with one of hers for a moment and lets the robe float from her shoulders and hang by the sash holding it closed at her hips.

"I want a perfect fit, to the skin."
