** Shinka of Rhydin has moved to an unknown location **

Shin Ka rested on the far north east shore of Rhydin. It was a living recreation to the Keep the Sliver Clan had owned across the vast dark seas. Myllyanna, Mistress of SkinKa, had held that title for countless years.

She now could now stand on the private balcony that juts out from her enormous chamber, and look over her prized garden in this new land. It was not new land to her, but it had never felt like home until she had reach the finacial goal, affording to move the keep here, brick by brick and rebuilt, day or night, sun or torch. it was just a good thing she knew of a necromancer that "provided" her with the endless manpower.

But the keeps construction was not with out sacrafice on her part. While the groaning and shuffle of feet moved stone and mortor, Myllyanna lost herself in spell craft and casting circle for many nights, even months preparing the damaged castings that once protected those in it's walls.....

Myllyanna sat in one of the oldest chairs in her possession out on the balcony. Her silver visage on the waves of the sea. The chair would creak even under her stealthy grace, but she saw each protest as if it was talking, telling it's own story from under the red stained wood.

The wood was not just stained, it had been soaked in history. It was the throne of a ruler who's name now the demoness could not recall. Chairs let alone thrones had been a rarity and left only for the wealthiest in that time, and what made it more unique was the fact that the bare wood in it's making was dipped into a vat of his enemies blood for 7 days, soaking and bloating in the heated blood it drank the color until it was deepest crimson.

Of course time had faded the richness, but the stain still help the souls of those slaughtered.

Silver nails poured over the hand crafted arm though her eyes never left the sea.

Junbao sat just inside in the floor playing with magical blocks that chimed and spun different colored auras about them. He seemed so small, but that was his fathers fault. But the mixed breed child was the most beautiful creation she had seen in a very very long time. His skin soft as feathers and so light gray it almost seemed ash and baby blue. His hair snow white, had surprised her a touch... she was sure her blood raven color would have won out. But he was still young enough he could shed the drowish trait. Her own silver eyes would look up at her with pure love, those beautiful sharp features from Asian and Drow mix he could not hide and they only made him seem more a lost angel. But Those in the house knew better... he would forever be fare removed from angels then anyone could be.

She turned her head to the sound of his delight, she watched him warmly and openly warm. Maybe she did not love him as dearly as she had her first born daughter. But he was her child and still, if she felt love, this was the closest she would get. And hell be warned if anyone tried to step between them.

Ami watched from the door way separating the family great room from the entrance parlor. This keep was so massive, so formal. Her hand felt the stone of the doorway and she wondered what her life would have been like, back thin in such a honorable time. Probably not much different.

She watched the heir play without a care in the world. But her eyes went to her Mistress. So quiet, so regal, so sure or everything. She simply loved her. She was everything her birth mother never could have been and Ami paid that back with undying loyalty and servitude. But while she was submissive in her mannerism, she dreamed one day that she could be as strong and sentinel as Myllyanna. It was a goal and a dream. One must have both.

She stayed and watched half hidden by the doorframe. She wondered what was truly going through her Mistress's mind. There was no telling honestly. So Ami made her own story up of why Myllyanna watched the waves.
