"I told you kids to never come back here!" The shop owner yelled furiously at the trio in front of him "Now last warning. Get out!" He shoved the three out onto the street and slammed the wooden door shut behind them.

Jamar chuckled as he just took a few steps to break the fall and kept moving "Hey Morgan, get the goods bro!?" He pulled back his hood cover to reveal the generally good smile that was a deep contrast from his skin tone.

Alejandro came right behind them "Si. Did you get it?" His accent was thick, but he managed pretty well.

Morgan laughed a bit and flashed the large sack of coins and the other trinkets they had just stolen "Of course boys, lets go and get us something to eat eh? On me" He snickered a bit, but the sound of the door opening caused him to turn around.

"You bloody... I am going to kill you." The shop keeper ran out waving a pistol at them before pulling the trigger, not once, not twice, but five times at the trio, which had just started to run the second they could make out the shape of some sort of firearm. The first whizzed past Jamar's head, but he remained diligent and kept running. Second and third passed around Alejandro's torso. The fourth just over Morgans left shoulder. He ducked but found himself gasping as the fifth hit him right in the right shoulder. He stumbled a bit but kept running, turning the corner quickly and out of sight. The shopkeeper, giving up on any pursuit cursed the air and went back inside.

"Holy ****!" Jamar looked over at Morgan, knowing instantly that something was up. You get that knowing by running around with the same people for a quite sometime. You know a good day from a bad day, a true smile from a forced one, you can spot them in any large crowd. He turned and looked at Morgan's back "Holy **** dude he shot you."

"No **** Sherlock" He bent over and looked up at them "Well don't just stand there, get a knife and carve the thing out of me. I do not want lead poisoning."

Alejandro was faster to action, and was already heating up his black blade to carve into the shoulder "You sure Hermano, this will hurt like, well a bullet going into you!"

"Just do it Alej. Or else I might not be around alright." Morgan replied with a huff as he gripped his hands tight, bracing for the pain.

Jamar moved to grab Morgan and hold him into place. He knew what would come next, though he also knew that it was for the betterment of Morgan that this was done quickly.

Alejandro drew the white hot blade and jabbed it around where the bullet had entered, circling it around the flesh and the bullet before pulling it out. Then reaching in he pulled the skin he carved out and the bullet.

Morgan, during the process, yelped out as he wanted to move but with Jamar holding him he knew any movement would increase the strength of the near death-grip on him. With the bullet out he ripped off part of his shirt and placed it to where it would stop the bleeding for now "I got bandages back at the hide, lets get going, don't want any of our siblings finding out. And you two do not tell Jen, or she will have my head. She is pissed already that I have been doing this for quite some time"

With that the trio was off and running towards their hideout.

So many things had happen to Morgan in the past couple of days, things that words had trouble even describing. From losing something he never thought he would lose to yelling to the person who raised him to falling into the fantasy of love.

He had been dueling as hard as he possibly could and found himself snapping the steel of his katana in half. It wasn't a special katana, just one anyone could buy really, but to him it meant a lot, he put a lot of time and effort into, not only securing the sword, but into learning how to use it. He had dueled too hard though, overstretched the weapon, and in itself, himself.

This overstretching soon turned into a partial hatred towards his sisters. Being the youngest of the family he had to always look up to Jenny and KC, however the problem was, he was 18 now, he felt that he was old enough to be on his own, but he was still this child on the streets.

But none of that mattered. He was simply in love.

"Hey Morgan, got something for you hermano!" Alejandro was bent over what looked like a make-shift forge, sweat pouring off of his face as he stood up, three pieces of glowing metal was clasped in a pair of 'borrowed' tongs, soon to be dropped into a vat of water.

Alejandro has always been on the streets, longer then Morgan and Jamar by far, and that's what made him so special was the fact that he had learned so many things, metal working, basic medical treatments, even farming and other skilled labor, all on his own. He was a smart kid, even though he had never set foot into a school.

"What are you doing Alej?" Morgan pulled up a metal chair that was leaning up against the wall of their 'hide' which was really an abandoned home somewhere out in the glen. Unfolding the chair he sat down next to where Alejandro was carving the metal with an already made blade, adding slight designs into a curved, serrated blade.

"Heard you broke your blade Morgan, figured I would make tu a new one. Well more like tres" He snickered a bit as he pulled the three blades out from the water with his hand. two of them were simple, hilt-less daggers crafted out of melted steel. However, the third blade was different, curved in a way that it looks like a snake with three arches in its back, as well as being serrated on one side. It had no hilt just like the others, but the metal looked tougher. "These two are just from the scrap we had" Alej hands the first two straight blades over "This one was from that weird metal we found out in the forest. Stuff melted like butter but I couldn't hardly chip it once it cooled." Serrated blade was handed over

"Damn Alej, this is some good stuff. I might actually owe ya one after this." Blades tucked away inside that black hoodie "These will come useful for dueling now, probably easier to use too. " He leaned back as he watched the gas fueled forge flicker slightly "where is Jamar?"

"Jamar? He is out in the docks I think, said he knew A guy down there and was seeing if he can pull out any old favors.... or something like that." Alejandro gave a sage nod as he grabbed himself a seat, reaching for one of the many cans of energy drinks spewed around the place.

"We will need to go and check on him." A nod to Alejandro as Morgan stood up "Later though, Let him handle his business." And like that the two boys were off into other conversations about the happenings around rhy'din.

The slight cloud cover along with the mist starting to roll in made it a little easier for Morgan to feel safe out on the docks. Dawning his normal black hoodie and jeans he strolls along, hood up as he plans some 'errands' out in his head. He normally wasn't alone though with the addition of the daggers that where thrust into his pockets he was a bit more at ease.

Seraphim stood at the end of one of the docs staring out at the water, and moon reflection against it. This was one of the normal places here.

A deep breath as he rounds the corner and comes to a halt. It wasn't an everyday thing that someone was simply standing at the end of a dock, just staring out. Quietly, with all of the skill he could muster he started making his way towards the person.

Seraphim's attention was pulled away sharply, though you wouldn't have noticed any sign of it from her, no flinch or tilt of the head. Someone was approaching her, and this was not the day to mess with her. It had been long, frustrating, and everything had malfunctioned on her. Her eyes squinting into a glare, her lips pursed in a sneer. She'd give him a few more steps.

He wouldn't notice it, nor would anything change about his stride. Quick, simple, but well placed steps carried him with a good distance, two or so arm lengths away. This is when he froze, one hand wrapping around the hilt less blade in his upper most pocket, while his eyes scanned her over, locking onto the saber greedily.

Whoever this was needed work on his silent approach. She'd met her fair share of assassins, so her skills had been greatly sharpened. Maybe if she didn't kill him before it was over, she'd teach him a thing or two. In one swift motion she crossed her arms over her waist and pulled both 9 mills, spinning while they uncrossed, she had both barrels aimed at...a child. She blinked.

He wasn't per say a child, but he wasn't someone who would be old enough to tip a beer back in some places. The second she flinched to move towards her weapons both hands grasped and pulled out hilt less daggers, his eyes winced slightly at the site of guns, he had already been shot once, a second time he would just be bad for him in general. Still yet he locked gazes with the female, holding his breath

"Wha...what are you doing?" She scolded much like a mother would, despite the daggers he had aimed at her, she lowered her guns.

He still held tight onto the daggers, hair slightly fluttering, well the small bit that stuck out in front of his hood. There was no disguising the age of his voice, despite the effort he put into it "Well despite the fact you just pulled two guns on me I was just strolling by"

She smirked, and didn't believe that for a second. "No kind of strolling I've ever seen. You were sneaking up on me. And poorly if I might say." She holsters her weapons, and plants her hands on her hips. "What for?"

The second her weapons were holstered he lowered both of the daggers back into their respective pockets, although he was tense still "Do you take me for someone that is dumb enough to talk about their intentions in the open?"

She held out her hands to the side as if feeling for rain, and looked around the docks then back to him. "I don't see anyone else around ."

He flipped his hood back just slightly to reveal those brown eyes, still looking up at her. "Fine, I was going to rob you.." He huffed out like any frustrated teen would.

She crossed her arms over her chest and changed her weight to one leg. She couldn't scold him too hard, at one point in her life to piss off her father she'd been a theif. "Hmmm..."

"Are you hungry? or Have a family that you're trying to take care of?"

"Taking care of myself for the most part." He straightened out "Why do you care" His words would spit from his mouth before they could be caught in thought.

"Obvious answer?" She quirks a brow. "Is because if you were going to rob me to feed a baby sister...I'd be less likely to turn you in."

"I am the baby of the family actually." He looked at her "And turn me into who? There isn't a set authority to do that around here."

She rolls her eyes and throws up her hands, shouting to the sky, "Really? Did you here that?" Her gaze falls back to him. "Well maybe then I'd put you to work. Learning a lesson or two wouldn't hurt you." He was still young enough to be trained. "Maybe even teach you how to sneak up on someone."

He took a half step back, last time he was told that he would be taught a lesson he woke up the next morning in a trash bin with a broken leg ?Work?" He still was hesitant "What kind of work..."

She shrugged, her arms crossed over her chest again. "What are you good at it?"

"A few things, mainly things you do on the streets to survive though, nothing of any specialty. Not going as far as killing though"

"Well, that's a plus. Killing is never the solution. Unless...you're defending yourself. Or someone else. But you should never kill someone. You know unless they..." She huffed. "Killing is bad. No killing. You're too young to kill." A stern nod. "Have you ever thought of running errands? Or mowing lawns...if they even have lawns here."

There was a snicker from him "I have only killed once and that bastard got what he deserved." He ended that discussion right there "Errands I can do. Mowing.... Well for the most part its a city, there for most of it is Concrete jungle."

"Alright, well, that's a start. You could see if any of the Inn keepers need someone to clean."

"How does working for Inn keepers put me to work for you" He questioned.

"What? Oh I meant instead of..." She shakes her head. "Never mind. Do you have any fighting skills?"

"I live on the streets. That?s like asking you if you ever once were of status" A motion to the saber in particular

She laughed once. "Would you believe me if I told you I'm the captain of a space ship? And my father is the ambassador of my sector?"

He shrugged a bit "Not the most... outrageous thing I have heard..." A pause as he weighed it out in his head "although that is pretty far-fetched."

She nodded, "It is, isn't it?" She motions to to the edge of the dock and she sits. "I don't mean street fighting."

"There are dueling rings around here that I participate in"

"Any good?" she asked quickly.

"I move up and down through the ranks. Hold my own against the best for the most part though." A sage nod to that

"That's something right there. Why not try to build on that instead of stealing? How old are you anyway?"

"18, and they don't do sponsorships and stuff like that.." He sighed "Or else I would be doing that for a living"

Her brows furrow. "They don't? Really?" Her eyes move over the water, thinking. "Make a deal with me."

"That is." He shifted forward, a glance at her again this time with a quirked eyebrow

"You stop running the streets," she eyes him over her shoulder. "And I'll sponsor you."

He looked at her silently, almost in shock. "I...." A great moment for the slight break in his facade, exposing that social awkward little boy in there "Why... " He had to ask "I mean, hell we ... we just met!?"

She smiles and returns her gaze to the water. "Cursing doesn't make you sound like an adult. And because if I hadn't have had any guidance at your age. I wouldn't be where I am today."

"I mean... I?m trying to go to school and all...." He did mention that "But ... I mean....uh..." Words... words where are you now "thanks?"

"Just hold up your end of the deal. And let me know what I need to do and where I need to be?"

"I uh...." He looked down and thought for a moment "Alright...."

Seraphim pulled out a few coins from her pocket, and held her open hand out to him. "Here"

He looked up at her and frowned a bit, quietly his hand went from the pocket and closed her hand "I believe that a sponsorship pays when someone plays or duels, not just talking."

A bright smile crossed her lips. "I'm so glad you cleared that up for me." She took his hand and placed the coins in it, closing his fingers around them. "Call it a guarantee."

He nodded, well more so it was a bow "I uh... of course." He finally pulled that hood all the way back, hair flopping around before it could be straightened by a ruffle of his hand

"Go on now. Go home." She jerked her thumb over her shoulder. "If you need me I'm usually in the Stars End Bar."
