Introduction
?I?ll draw those for you too some time, if you like.?
?A whole sketchbook full ?a you. Past you an? present. You?ll give me pictures an? I?ll give ya music. Fair trade??
?Are you making a deal with me, Cajun??
?It?s a fairly safe deal, I t?ink, don?chou??
?S?, es bueno.?
Once upon a time Salvador sketched a picture of Canaan?s former (deceased) lover for him, because the Cajun lamented that he had nothing that belonged to him, not even a photograph. The Spaniard has a unique talent known as psychometry that allows him to capture glimpses of the past, and therefore he was able to preserve this one image for his friend at the time.
After such time that the two of them realized that they had feelings for each other and admitted to having fallen in love, Cane bought a sketchbook (or three) and left it (them) on the coffee table at his apartment along with some graphite and charcoal sticks for sketching.

And so, from time to time, Salvador picks up the sketchpad to add a bit of personal history to its pages. A life in pictures, as his Cajun lover requested of him.
Please note that I, the author and creator of Salvador, am not personally an artist. Therefore I make no claim to any of the artwork that might be posted to this thread. I will try to always credit the original source where applicable.
Italicized commentary accompanying the following entries indicate how Salvador might explain the picture if asked about it.
Nothing is barring any visitors to Canaan's apartment from picking up one of the sketchbooks and flipping through it out of curiosity. These books never leave the Cajun's place, however, unless otherwise indicated and agreed upon by his writer.
