The following letter was intrusted to ?imh?n, Jewell?s courier, before the events of Monday, February 6th, to be delivered to the Baroness of Battlefield Park on Friday, February 10th.
Baroness,
Under the direction of the Empress Overlady, Jewell Ravenlock, I have been asked to inform you of events soon to take place in the city of RhyDin.
On Tuesday, February 14th, an organization that has been slowly growing in strength over the last few months will attempt to cleanse the city of all non-human inhabitants. While this may seem a wild and preposterous plan, this organization has accomplished similar feats on other planets and in other realms in the past. They are not without reasonable expectation of success after spending the last several years planning for this very day and doing their utmost to incite hate and violence to weaken the harmonious societal bonds which are the hallmark of this fine city.
The Overlady hopes that all barons, regardless of alignment, seize this opportunity and use their position to take a firm stand against such aggression. Several barons have already promised the use of their manors as safe havens for those in the community while others have participated in offensive and defensive preparations.
Do not let it be said that the Baroness of Battlefield Park did not see fit to defend her barony outside the rings as fiercely as she has within them.
