Despite her rather public breakups and some rather tragic romances, Jewell still secretly loved love. She also starting to feel a little fond of Sabine after their dinner meetup. That all likely explained the parcel that arrived at Battlefield Park several weeks after the two met to share drinks and conversation.

Inside was a bundle of old books and a note written in Jewell's flowing handwriting and (of course) blue, sparkly ink.
