A rattle of dry, dusty bones. There are eyes everywhere and they are not friendly, there are lines drawn and groups busy glaring at one another.

The dusty bones rattle more, until--"Theeeeeeeeyyyyyyy ssssssspeeeeeeeaaaaaak; my chiiiiiiiiildrrrrrrren. To the graaaaaaaave, they cuuuuuuuurse hhhhher naaaaaame."

A feminine voice, airy and light as summer breezes cuts in. "Will you please skip the dramatics? Why can he not ever just speak in a normal tone? Really--and the dead will always curse Her name, that does not mean--"

Flames crackled in whip crack roaring. A passionate male voice that seethed like the bellows interrupted the airy woman's voice. "--She has moved into the realm and we should move against her before she finds It. It cannot fall into Her hands. You know what she will do, what she could do--if it is lost to the likes of her!"

Several voices clamored across the planes at once. The cracking of rocks, rustle of leaves, babbling of brooks, the flickering of lying tongues, disease forming and releasing--dark or light, they were all gathered. Not happily so.

"We should seal the rift! Destroy the temple! Burn it to the ground," The Raging one cried, living up to his name easily.

A passionate voice overflowing with emotion and sensuality interjected with a delicate snort. "That is not our place. It is a place beyond places, delicate in balance. What of their people? What of the destruction an ruin of such beauty--"

"And death we will bring," a quiet male's voice, inhumanely perfect and teaming with renewed life cut the woman off.

The silence which his statement brought was a momentary thing. They could not often be silent.

"Then let them," hissed a voice certainly pleased with the prospect of the murder, strife, lies, intrigue and deception Her Presence brought. This of course, brought an outburst from all sides drowning out the few voices of reason.

And all through it, several facts remained: Lloth's presence had dwindled to near nothing, and Erevan's presence along with the gem was gone.

It did not bode well.
