OUT OF CHARACTER FAQ:

Thank you so much for your interest in the GigglebringerGnomin school's Operation Street Sweep Story Line! I hope to answer a few of your questions about the SL for you so that I can make things easy for everyone to play along.

WHO MAY ROLE PLAY IN THIS STORY LINE?
Absolutely anyone. RDI Forum or within the chat room. If you don't post on the boards, please feel free to role play your SL in the chat room; if you don't role play in the chat room please feel free to role play everything in your threads!

HOW MANY ROBOTS ARE THERE/WILL BE RELEASED?
There are/will be thousands.

WHAT DO THEY LOOK LIKE?
The robots come in all various shapes and sizes for the GigglebringerGnomin school's Operation Street Sweep. Most of them average about three feet so as not to be obtrusive in the streets themselves. Some of them are disguised as very odd looking cats or rats in order to blend easier into the districts of Rhydin not quite understanding of the world of gnomish awesomeness.

The standard models which will be released within the modern pocket realms, pathways and places within Rhydin are bright polished silver with rotating brushes for feet. A right metallic appendage is a dust bin and the left is a small flat broom. There's a rectangular outline on their chests which open to reveal a small trash deposit and compactor.

For the more traditional areas of Rhydin, the robots have been disguised as felines and rats. Since these are not uncommon, GigglebringerGnomin school's Operation Street Sweep is hoping they will blend in and be relatively unnoticed. However, on close inspection in the bright of day, an observant sort might realize that the cat and/or rat before them doesn't seem to be moving their legs as they hum-trundle along down the street.

These models are covered in a painted fabric overlay with a faint animal shape underneath. Removing the cloth reveals a cat-shaped or rat-shaped smooth metallic object with a multitude of brushes on it's underside. There are three smooth panels, one on the left with opens up and becomes a small broom, like their more robotic cousins, and the one of the right is a bin. The small panel at the top is the garbage disposal for this model.

CAN I KILL IT? WITH FIRE? AND LIGHTENING? AND BOOTS OF STOMPING?
Can you harm the robots? You certainly can! They can be beaten, bludgeoned, smashed, kicked around, tormented, set on fire, talked to and interacted with, tickled, poked, chased, stared at agog and anything else you can think of.

These are NPC's created to help you have a bit of fun. Please feel free to use them!

HOW LONG WILL THIS SL RUN?
Quite a while :) I am planning on posting playables (if all goes well)from now (time of this posting) until I feel like the SL is ready to end xD, making the playables and SL run a while.

How long it takes you, of course, is always up to you :) Take your time and write whatever is comfortable.

I DON'T WANT TO HAVE MY AREA IN RHYDIN/CHARACTER BOTHERED BY THESE ROBOTS.
That is 100% a-okay too. The beautiful thing about role play is that you get to choose your hero's story! You don't have to play if you don't want too!

WILL THERE BE ROBOTS PLAYED IN THE CHAT ROOM?
There just might! Though there aren't any set-in-stone plans, I'll try and see what I can do!

I WANT TO PARTICIPATE, BUT WHERE SHOULD I POST MY THREAD?
Please feel free to post them in your character's sub folders, or if you do not have one, within the dragon's default folder.

MY FRIEND WROTE A REALLY AWESOME THREAD/I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE A THREAD MENTIONING THIS SL AND/OR READ SOME GREAT STORIES FEATURING THIS SL. WHERE WOULD I SHARE MY LINK AND WHERE CAN I READ OTHER SL'S?
