House of the Dark Lady of the Dance--Temple of Eilistraee
Over a decade ago, money changed hands, and a warehouse was purchased. South of the river and east of the bay. Construction began the very next day, and the drab little warehouse was soon transformed...
In many ways, the House of the Dark Lady still recalls its less than noble roots; its architecture is still rather squat in shape, much unlike the eerie structures of the Drow one might find within the Underdark itself. However, changes are evident. A great dome of polished silver now encompasses the roof, and shines in the light of the full moon. The walls have been softly rounded as well, though not so much as to interfere with other buildings near it. An outer wall surrounds the rear of the temple proper, and gardens planted within, where the temple's herbs and some foodstuffs are grown.
These drow have proven to be good neighbors, save for when they strike against the temple of the Spider Queen, or are struck in turn...
Structure
A small handful of drow escaped the Underdark and, arriving in Rhydin, began the temple. Ansanansa El'baerryn, the accorded high priestess, had left the Lands Below before the others, and had returned to help more like minded drow follow Eilistraee's message of peace in the Lands of Light. In the intervening years, others have trickled in, to form a small community that looks to the Temple proper.
The current temple roster is as follows:
