Sulissurn

Below the cobble stone, below the pavement, the dirt roads and sometimes further still?below the fresh water wells of Rhydin, settled deep in the womb of the soil are systems of caves.

For as long as anyone can remember Rhydin existing, there have been drow, and as long as there have been drow there have been caves. Some natural, some have been carved too-smooth by magic and some of them by the bloodied backs of slaves. Below the city of Rhydin lives another city. A vast, rag-tag society of dark-skinned elves, some Lloth?s boot-lickers still, creating havoc and digging holes to the surface to raid, capture slaves, fill in the holes, seal the caves and dig again. Some creep out to sing in the moonlight to the sword Maiden, begging forgiveness.

Some walk neither path. They choose their own. Some, like Suliss?urn, cannot deny the call of sweet earth and deepest dark. They understand they are what they are and need what they need. But they do not listen to the call of any god. They simply are.

Within the belly of the underground beast, Suliss?urn?s lair is not easy to find. And once it is found it is purposefully made difficult to breach. Few dare to go deep into the black to meet her on her terms. Few dare to even follow her. For those that do, they will encounter great caves, some as vast and as dangerous as the belly of a dragon.

This is her element.

This is her home.
