Topic: A Day by the Indoor Pool

She had been taking the boys in her charge to the pool every day and taught them to swim. They were like little tadpoles now and very self sufficient in the water. Today was no exceptoin, the boys had been begging to go swimming.

She allows them one toy and they both grin at each other and they grab up their water pistols. She laughs, knowing that she'll be drowned by the end of the day.

"Alright boys, let's go." They looked so cute in their swim trunks and swim floaties on their arms. George usually yanked his off, he was a big boy, he usually said.

When they got to the pool she settles into a deck chair as the boys run around with waterguns and shooting each other. A soft laugh as she avoids being squirted. "Nice try, Jake." she shakes her head and then is ambushed by George. "Hey!"

The commotion of the little twins running down the hall has even brought the elusive frat president out of his office. He laughs softly as the little boys run off towards the pool. He shrugs and goes on to his bedroom, changing and heading on out to the pool as well in his blue swim trunks. Course concealed under his towel is a large water gun.

He smiles down at Ashleigh and watches as the boys run around on the padded area by the pool, made of course just for them. He drops his towel on the ground and rushes over, firing away at the little blonds.

They squeal and laugh as uncle Jay gets them. He even gets Jake on the ground and tickles him till little Jake says he is going to tinkle in his swim trunks. Jay laughs and helps him up then proceeds to walk them both over to get into the pool. Uncle Jay the lifeguard on duty.

His room was right over the pool area and he could hear the shrill laughter of the fratlings and then even Jay's own deeper laugh. He looks down with a grin. Going to his drawers he grabs up his green and black swim jammers and tugs them into place.

He snatches a towel up and heads down to the pool. No way to hide the super soaker cannon he has in his hands. He lowers the end into the pool once he gets there and pulls back on the handle, loading it up with almost a gallon of water. Grinning to Ashleigh, then looking over to Jay and the twins. "Hey guys, watch this!" and when they turn, he pumps the handle down hard, blowing out that water towards them.

She smiles as Jay walks up. "Hello Jaden." with a slight cant of her head. Then she laughs as he starts to play with the twins. Satisfied that they were in excellent hands, she leans back the chair to get some filtered sun.

When Doug shows up she gives him a shake of her head. "No, Doug! You're going to hurt them with that thing!" But it's too late, he'd already doused them with the water cannon.

George falls over and starts to cry. She gets up and pulls him up and out of the pool. Gently cradling him against her and comforting him. As soon as she sits down, George has enough comforting and runs off back to the pool. "Uncle Jay! Catch me!"

Parker Reynolds

He sits at the table near the window, he can see out to the pool and he laughs as Jay goes running around. The bobbing heads of the twins, he can't help but chuckle even more. He grabs up his beer and walks on out through the door and has a seat next to Ash and watches as out comes Doug.

"Uh oh." He shakes his head, bringing out the big guns now and if Jam, Julian or even Stephen hear this.. well the huge ass missiles will soon follow and nobody will get out of this alive.


He sips his beer and laughs as Doug gets Jay, Jake and George. Though when George starts crying of course Park walks over to Doug and confiscates the water gun only to chase him with it and spray it at him.

He does indeed look up when Doug calls to him and he sees that water gun pointed right at him and the twins, he laughs and does his best to shield them. He finally grabs Jake and turns him around with him and pulls George over, but as George starts to cry Ashleigh comes over and takes him.

He makes sure Jake is alright and then lets him go on and swim.
Jaden turns just in time to hear that little voice calling out to catch him and he opens his arms and catches George with a laugh and swims out with Jake.

He lifts George up and tosses him gently into the water and laughs when he hears the infamous.. "Again, again, again!"

Julian Rios

His room up on the third floor, a floor above Doug's he looks out the window and sees the bros and kids out there playing. "Oh hell yeah!" he laughs and runs into his bathroom. He has the huge 18 inch in diameter balloons left over from the last party and he starts to fill them up and put them into the bathtub.

The time wasn't right, not yet. Let more come...

"Aww, I'm sorry, Georgie." he watches as Ash comforts him then he dashes off to Jay. But then his super soaker is taken! He looks up at Parker. "Aww man!" eyes go wide as Park fills it up with water. "Oh no!" and he dashes off, then dives into the pool. Swimming under water, he grins inwardly and thinks.

"If I just stay under here, he can't get me. And then he'll forget. I can swim under here forever, I'm a fish. Yeah, a fish." but eventually he does have to come up for air

He comes up in the corner and looks left and right Not seeing Park. But then he looks up slowly and his eyes widen and he screams like a girl as he gets a face full of water.

Wesley Spencer

Perfect time for the pool, course, with having an indoor pool it's always nice. He stops at Kay's door and knocks on it, but then he figures, well maybe she is with Parker.

He pulls the towel around his shoulders and fixes his black swim trunks and goes on out of the hallway to the stairs. He smiles when he sees them all out at the pool. Like a family vacation around here all the time, and Wes is happy for that, not much of a family back home but at least he has one here.

Down the stairs he waves over at them all and laughs as Doug screams like a girl. He drops his towel on the table near his chair, then sits on it the chair and leans back to watch everyone run by and having a good time.

Seeing however that Parker is out here, now he can only wonder where Kay is. He flicks his tongue over his lip piercing and looks over at the door then back to the pool.

She had been in the shower when the knock came to her door and by the time she answered, the hallway was empty. She shrugs and closes the door behind her then drops the towel she has around her and starts to get ingo her pink and green one piece suit. Tying a wrap around her hips, she opens the door back up and makes her way to the pool area.

The sounds of splashing, the twins laughing and then seeing them all out there had her smiling as she moves to sit with her two favorite people. In a chair, right in between Parker's stuff and Wes. "Hey Wes, did you knock on my door?"

Julian watches them from the window of his bedroom. More people had shown up and it was starting to look like a regular party down there. The twins little blond bobbing heads in the water, Jay's dark head with them. He takes it all in. From Park and Doug in the corner of the pool, to Doug's scream. He had to laugh at that. Was great to see him get a face full of water.

Wes and Kay sitting near Ashleigh. Now that Ashleigh, he hated that he couldn't go near her. She was hot! He looks about again and then walks over to his bathroom. There were a good twenty or so balloons filling up his bathtub. Grabbing up a couple of them, he goes back to window.

Yelling out, "Bomb's away!" as he drops the first and watches it land on the concrete with a loud SPLAT!!! He laughs and drops the second. Runnin to the bathroom he grabs up two more.

Hearing him yell, she looks up just in time to see Julian dropping a huge, bright green balloon down to the concrete below. "Stop that!" she yells out and jumps from her chair. Immediately going to George and Jake, she gathers them to her and quickly moves them out of the pool area.

They protested, loving playing with their uncles. "Sorry boys, but it's lunch time. Maybe later?" she smiles to them then shoots daggers to Julian's window as they walk past and back towards the guest house.

The smoke from is cigarette drifting up into the morning sky as he stands by the side of the house. Since Jake and George had come to live within the Pi house, many things have changed and Joshua was more then obliged to not smoke around them when they visited the main house.

A grin strikes at each corner of his lips as he watches everyone inside the pool area. Another inhale of the cig and he blows it up into the dewy mist of the morning. Having just arrived back merely a week ago, Josh is learning first hand that things as always with time change rather quickly. Now the house is full of not just women, but also children as well. And it is a welcomed change, however, also knowing that they can still throw big knock out parties when the twins are sleeping.. priceless.

Another drag of the cig and he chuckles softly as Doug and Parker run about. He watches as Ashleigh takes the boys on out and of course there is Julian upstairs causing a ruckus.
He shakes his head and snubs out his smoke on the bottom of his shoe and stashes the killed smoke in his pocket, just to pull another from the pack and light it up.

Chloe was already in her lavender bikini, towel in hand when she descends the stairs and smiles as she glances around the pool area and sees that she had been missing out on the little party.

A purse of her lips though as the large balloons come flying down out of Julian's window. He always has to be pranking the house with one thing or another. She laughs though as a large red water balloon comes very close to hitting Jaden on the head.

She continues down the stairs and makes sure to stay far away from Julian's bedroom window as to not be smacked with a balloon and goes on to the end of the pool.

A smile and wave given to Kaylie and Wesley as she passes them. She drops her towel on the small table near her chair then sits down and rests back. The sounds of laughter and plops of the balloons crashing down on the floor make her laugh as well.

The cab pulled up to the house and he steps out and pays the driver. A soft nod of thanks and he takes his lone bag from the seat with him. He looks up at the front of the house and feels a rush of relief. He was home. After a long stint away from the bros, he returns home.

He walks into the house and can hear the party going on in the pool area. A reserved smile as he drops his bag by the door and walks into the kitchen area. "Cookie." he says quietly with a nod. He barely gives the man a second glance as he watches the goings on. So many new faces. Women too. That used to be a major no no. He watches as the blond girl makes her way through. Beautiful smile, she could have elven blood in her. A slow nod and he takes the drink that Cookie had put out for him.

Making his way to the pool area, he walks up behind Parker and whispers. "Hello, my brother."

After a successful few tosses of Doug into the pool he chuckles and turns his head just in time to see Wes come out, and Kay not far behind. He clears his throat and looks down at the pool again as Doug splashes around.

But then a crash next to him makes him look up at Julian's bedroom window. "Julian!" And another balloon crashes down near him. He shakes his head and moves away from the window just barely avoiding a balloon to his head.

Dark blues look over at Kay and Wes as they sit together and start talking. But then he snaps out of it and waves to Josh outside. Another wave to Chloe as well. A deep breath and he is just about to dive in when a whisper is behind him and he turns to see Del.

"Del!" He laughs and hugs him, patting him on the back. "How the hell are you man. I thought you weren't coming until next week."

She had noticed when Wes didn't answer her and she sighs and sits back in her chair. But then she hears a loud splat nearby and is splashed with a bit of water. "Hey!" she sits up quickly and leans up just in time to see Julian throwing another balloon out of the window.

Laughing, she jumps up and moves her chair under an umbrella and sticks her tongue out at Julian. Sitting back again she felt eyes upon her and she looks over at Parker. She smiles shyly, then casts her eyes downward. When she looks up again, he's talking to some guy.

She looks back to Wes and smiles. "Watch out!" and she points to the water balloon that is headed directly for him.

Wesley Spencer

Wesley had zoned out when Kay was talking to him before, really... yeah and he is sticking to that story. But when the crashes of balloons on concrete start Wes quickly looks around. He watches as Kay moves her chair over and shakes his head up at Julian.

"Julian man, cut it out!" And that is when Wesley makes the biggest mistake of turning his attention away from Julian, which we all know is not a smart thing to do when he has any sorts of weapons. He watches as a guy walks in and up to Parker.

Even a smile to Chloe as she relaxes in her chair, and that's when he hears Kay, finally. But it's just a little too late and that water balloon hits its target, Wes's head, and the cold water goes all over his once dry and warm body. "Agh..." He groans but laughs.

After being tossed into the pool a few times he'd had enough and holds up his hands to Parker. "I give!" he laughs and trots off to find a seat and catch his breath. He watches as the place starts to fill up and grins. He loved the parties they had.

He leans over and smiles to Chloe, too embarassed really to say anything and then looks back to the guys in the pool. Hearing yet another splat of waterballoon against the concrete he looks up to Julian and shakes his head. "Man, that guy is asking for it."

He smiles broadly as Parker turns and he returns the hug and then steps back. "I got in early, couldn't wait to be home." he wouldn't delve into the hows and whys, he usually kept to himself.

He looks about and smiles. "Seems somethings never change." then his eyes land on Chloe and his smile grows just a bit. "But then, somethings obviously have." with a soft chuckle.

Out through the door, a beer in hand as he grins at Del and Park, course he must of missed the missiles or maybe Julian is reloading but nonetheless he hasn't been hit by one so far.

He makes his way on over to Parker and Del and nudges Del with his shoulder. "How is it, long time man." He nods and looks in the direction that Del is looking, which just so happens to be a cute little blonde. "Well now that is Chloe. Off limits." He even brings his hands up to do the quotation marks, course he does it carefully since one hand holds a beer.

"Josh!" He yells over to the man standing outside smoking up a storm. He shakes his head. And looks just in time to see Wesley get hit right on the head with a water balloon. "What the..?" He looks up and sees Julian chucking them out his window.

He hands his beer to Parker and makes his way back inside the house.

She gets up when Wes gets splatted and wraps a towel around him. "Did it hurt?" she looks down at him with a comforting smile. Pulling up a chair beside him, she sits back down and watches him for a few minutes.

Then, leaning back she lets her gaze wander around the pool area. Her eyes keep going to Parker and the man he was talking to. "Hey Wes, who's that?"

He continues to laugh and then grabs the towel as Kay wraps it around him. "Nah, it didn't hurt. But it was freaking cold." He shivers and wraps that towel more around him. A look as Stephen goes back into the house and he chuckles. Someone's going to get it.

His eyes follow Kay's gaze and he watches whoever that is with Parker, he shrugs and shakes his head. "I have no clue. Never seen him before." He sits back but keeps the towel around himself. "Brr, that was cold. He must of made sure to fill up those balloons with ice cold water." And he notices he just so happens to be the only one to be hit by one of them, how lucky is he going to be today?

"Maybe you should go ask?" He gives her the "Duh" look but starts laughing in the middle of it, and just then another balloon smacks down right next to his chair and he jumps out of it. "Whoa!" Must be his lucky day after all.

She laughs when he does and shakes her head. She had seen Stephen go into the house and knew that the bombs would stop soon enough. "I hope he gets it good." she purses her lips and then looks back to Wes.

"Maybe I will." she stands up and rolls her eyes. Bad move, as that was just when the water balloon fell and smacks her square in the back. "Aaah!" she screams and dances about with the ice water on her back. "Coldcoldcold!"

After a good sized breakfast, Ian sat inside watching everyone out at the pool. A light chuckle as Wes and now even Kay gets hit with balloons. Upnod given to Stephen as he passes by and makes his way through the kitchen. Another sip from his soda.

"Cook, some of these guys are just insane." He laughs. Cook chuckles and shakes his head. Ian grabs up his bottle of soda and heads out the door to get a better view of the goings ons.

He nods to Jaden, Parker, and a new guy it seemed. A toast of his soda in the air towards Josh who still seemed to want to stay outside and smoke, or better yet be "anti" social as Stephen liked to say. He settles down in the chair next to Chloe and Doug.

He gets nudged then looks back with a well formed raised brow. "Stephen." he smiles slightly and then follows his gaze back to Chloe. "Off limits?" his smile broadens just a hairsbreadth. "Intriguing."

Then his gaze shifts to Parker. He follows his line of sight to Wes and Kaylie and shakes his head. "Trouble, my friend." he whispers softly then wanders off to find himself a beer. A glance up to Julian's room as a scream is heard. Stephen must have found the bomber.

He watches as Ian approaches, then he looks way up at Julian's window as the scream is heard. Laughing, he shakes his head. "Get 'em Steve!" he yells out then sits back.

"Hey Ian." he grins. Looking about once more, he gets up from the chair and takes a dive into the swimming pool.

"Doug." She smiles as he sits next to her. Course her attention is caught as soon as a guy she has never seen before comes into the room. He talks to Parker and then here comes Stephen. And the quotation marks, she laughs softly knowing that has to be about her, Stephen only does the quotations when everyone is told she is off limits.

As Ian comes over she smiles up at him, but really.. green eyes are drawn to Del. She smiles when he looks over at her but she quickly looks away and over at poor Wesley who is hit by a balloon and then Kay. Stephen going inside to get Julian and then the scream. She laughs softly again but watches as Del walks off to the house.

She gets out of the chair and takes Kay a towel, then walks to the house and inside where Del has gone.

He walked inside, but not very far. Standing by the wall leading from the kitchen to the living room, just out of sight. When she passes by he whispers softly. "heavy steps, Miss Chloe." a slight smile to his face and his finely defined brow lifted.

"Perhaps you may answer a question for me?" he holds his drink in one hand and sips it, hazel eyes keeping them in his view.

He turns just slightly to hear Del better and shakes his head. Though his eyes stay on Kay and Wes for a moment then looks back over to Josh, then Jay, and everyone else. The word echoing in his mind, trouble. A casual smile at Chloe as she walks by, then an nod to Ian.

He grabs a towel and dries off his hair and continues to watch Kay and Wes. Dead set that he has now officially lost his mind if he even thinks about trying to get involved with that. No girl can win a Reynolds heart, right. The Reynolds men pride themselves in being the 'ones that get away.'

Trouble, he shakes his head. He has had enough trouble in his life already and he isn't about to bring more to it. But his thought process is stopped when he gets smacked right on the head by a balloon.

"Sh*t.." He whispers and looks up at Julian's bedroom window to see not Julian but Stephen. "Son of a... " He doesn't bother with drying off as he dashes into the house, past Chloe and Del like a shot as his mind is dead set on killing his brother.

She smiles thankfully to Chloe for the towel. She really liked her, a sweet girl. She looks down at Wes. "I will go ask him." she shrugs slightly. But then she hears the splat then Parker cursing. She sighs and sits back down next to Wes.

"That balloon hurt." she pouts.

He gets up out of the pool and sees Kaylie sitting there pouting. He walks up to her and grins down at her. "Hey, no pouting at a pool party!" he laughs and leans over to kiss her cheek. "Besides, when you pout it screws up how cute you are." he chuckles.

Standing up he shakes his head like a dog, spraying water everywhere. Then he hears a zinging noise and he turns just in time to get waterballoon to the face. It nearly knocks him over and he stands there with a scrunched up face. Opening his eyes slowly he sees Stephen in the window. He grins and nods.

"Hey Stevie!" he yells out and grabs up Stephen's beer. "Thanks!" he grins and bottoms up, he chugs it.

Gage Reynolds

It's been a long time, a very long time since he has been to this house. And as he gets out of the cab and looks up at it, memories flood his mind. This place harbors so many of them.. good, bad, everything. A first kiss happened just down the walk inside one of the guest houses, two friends that became more in just that one kiss and then at times have been enemies. And now to barely talking at all.

The older brothers coming back to take the positions that Gage and Dirk left behind, and he is very thankful for that. Knowing that they are more then capable to handle the responsibilities that he himself thought he could and found out the opposite.

He turns and grabs his bag from the backseat and pulls it over his shoulder. A quick pay to the cabbie, tip as well, and Gage finally goes up the steps of his once wonderful home for five years prior. Up the large steps and opening the huge wooden doors with a bit of a familiar creak to them.

Cook's food wafting through the air and the sound of laughter coming through as well. Home sweet home. He goes on to the kitchen finding Del and Chloe, a small nod to them as he goes on through the doors to the pool.

He smiles and nods to everyone. It's been a really long time..

She opens the door and at first glance around the kitchen Del is nowhere to be seen, she keeps walking past and stops when the whisper hits her ear.

A small smile as she turns to see him standing by the wall and she walks over to him, standing a few feet away and leaning on the wall. Her delicate hand raising to her face to slide some of the golden strands of hair from her face as she looks at him.

"Yes?" Just then Parker comes running in and she watches him rush through the room, she makes sure to keep up against the wall as to not be hit by him since he seems to not really be looking where he is going, but she laughs softly. He must be going to get Julian and Stephen.

Then green eyes look to the door as now Gage walks in. She smiles as he walks by her and nods.

Putting a hand to her arm, a sign of protection as Parker hurtles by them. He makes sure to stay pressed to the wall as the freight train that is Parker comes rushing past. He smiles, then turns his attention back to Chloe. He admired her delicate and finely boned face and hands when they came up to wipe the hair from her cheeks.

A cant of his head and a slight lifting of his brow followed by a soft chuckle. "It's good to be home." he whispers.

Eyes back to her, a slow smile curls one corner of his mouth "Why would you be off limits?" And yes he uses the finger quotation marks just as Stephen had.

George

He and Jake were supposed to be laying down, taking a nap. But he would have none of that. Naps were for babies. So while Ashleigh wasn't looking, he snuck out of his window and made a mad dash for the house. He wanted to be with the big boys!

He runs across the living room and sees the pretty girl talking to the stranger and looks at her curiously. Strangers were danger! Running past them, he goes to the pool area.

"Uncle Jaden!" he runs up to him and looks up. "Chloe's talking to strangers!" his blue eyes wide.

She smiles and even laughs softly when Doug kisses her cheek. When he shakes his head she leans back and puts her hands up. "Doug no!" she laughs even more.

But then he's struck in the face with a balloon and her eyes go wide and mouth pops open in surprise. She was going to ask if he was alright, but then he grabbed up Stephen's beer and started chugging. Yeah, he was ok.

She gets up and shakes her head, looking to Wes. "Ok, that's enough for me. I'll see you later." with a smile, she heads out of the pool area. Towel wrapped around her shoulders, she makes her way past Chloe and Del, then up the stairs to the rooms. She doesn't stop at the floor her room is on, instead she goes on up and to Julian's room to see what they were up to.

Standing over next to Ian and laughing about as Parker runs into the house to take get Stephen, he shakes his head and grabs a Coke off the table and takes a sip just as a little blonde boy comes running up to him.

"Chloe is talking to strangers is she?" He smiles and pats the little boy on the head then meanders his way over to look through the window, a wave to Del and Chloe then he walks on back over to George.

"That is Delbert, he is a brother. I will introduce you so he will not be a stranger anymore when he is done talking with Chloe." He grabs another Coke off the table and opens it, then hands it to George. "Should you not be napping? You know you worry Ashleigh when you sneak out." His voice not harsh of course.

After keeping out of the way of yet another onslaught of water balloons, he can't help but laugh when Kay gets one to her back and starts the little cold dance.

Doug walking over and kissing her on the cheek and a balloon to his face, now that makes Wes laugh even more, course once he knows Doug is alright.He shakes his head and moves yet again just a little ways away so no more balloons come close to hitting him.

He glances over to Kay as she gets up and starts to go on back to the house. It doesn't take much to figure out that Kay is going after Parker. He sighs softly and shakes his head.

And just then Gage walks out of the house and he smiles broadly. "Gage." He walks over and gives him a brotherly hug, the not too close arms length pat to the back, so Wesley doesn't drench him with water. "Nobody thought you were coming back, bro."

Green eyes look back at Del once they are somewhat alone again, course Cook is right there but he is always so busy cooking and cleaning he hardly ever notices if anyone is in the room.

She relaxes and isn't so pressed up against the wall since Parker is now gone and surely the fight will continue upstairs, though they can easily come right back down but for now she feels comfortable enough to stand near the doorway.

A light laugh as he uses the quotations along with the words. "Well when I first moved here I was only seventeen and my brother is very protective. He doesn't really want me to get too involved with any of the brothers, or better yet doesn't want any of them to get their hands on me, is how he put it." She laughs softly again. "He still thinks I need to be taken care of. But really most of the guys here are like older brothers to me, at least I think so."

He came downstairs to join in with the pool party when he almost runs into Chloe and Del talking in the kitchen doorway. A smile curls his lips and he pauses mid stride.

"Hey Chloe." he grabs her arm and starts to walk away. "Xan said he needs to see you." A look over his shoulder at Del. "Sorry, but I'm sure she'll be back."

Adam had been around for a while and he knew that Chloe was off limits. He also knew that she recently had celebrated her 18th birthday.

Once the hubbub had died down, he removes his hand from her arm and takes up his lean against the wall. He notices the highlights in her hair and hazel eyes travel down to her beautifully shaped sea green eyes. He waited patiently for her to respond.

A slight upturn of the corner of his mouth as she speaks, she has a melodic voice that is pleasant on his ears. "Well I am pleased to hear that your brother takes care of his sister. It is also good that you see the brothers as your own."

His attention averted from her as Adam comes and grabs her arm. He frowns slightly. Not that the conversation was being disrupted, but at the rudeness of how it was happening. With the conversation being cut short, he simply turns and walks back out to the pool area.

And then Adam appears and grabs her arm. She frowns just slightly, more out of thought actually. "Xander wants to see me?" But then they are walking away and she looks back to Del.

"It was very nice meeting you.." But then she is pulled on out of the room. She laughs softly and looks at Adam. "Where are we going?" Xander has never sent Adam or any other brother to come and escort her back to him so this is something very new to her. She also watches as Del walks on back to the pool area, and, not too mention the look on his face.

"Xander is alright? I mean, he usually comes and talks to me himself if he needs to talk.." That small frown still on her face.

He slides his hand down her arm and takes her hand in his. Looking back at her he smiles reassuringly. "Xan is fine." Leading her through the living room, down the hall and into the library. Making sure to look around to make sure nobody else is there.

Turning to look at her a shy smile on his face. "I just wanted to talk to you." He then lets go of her hand and brushes his hair back. Shifting his weight between his feet and looking down at her.

She walks with him through all the rooms, a small wave even given to Cook as she passes. For now she keeps her mouth closed and just walks. A curious glance over her shoulder as she sees Jay with George, Wesley talking to Gage, and even Del going out there. His hand going to hers and holding it causes a faint blush on her cheeks.

Even a small glance as Joshua walks by the window to wherever he may be going. Then green eyes land back on Adam as they finally walk through the door to the library and she watches his every facial expression and move.

As he lets her hand go she looks around the library then back to his face. The shy smile noted and that causes one of her own to appear. "You wanted to talk to me about what?"

"Yeah, you look really good today. And that guy you were talking to, bad news..." he nods his head. "One of the elders, he should know better. You're off limits."

He walks on over to the cooler, they usually have sitting out near the table and takes out a cold beer and cracks it open. "So where is everyone?" He looks around and notices that quite a few people are not around.
A sip of his beer and he walks over between Wesley and where Doug is sitting.

Green blues look from one then to the other. "What's up with you guys?" As he takes yet another sip of his beer. Felt pretty damn good to be back in the frat house. Course a yell makes him turn to look at the window that it must of come from. "The hell is going on up there?"

George had been swimming around under the watchful eye of Uncle Jaden and was completely enjoying the pool. He thought himself a proper fish now, though his herky jerky movements would tell anybody else otherwise. His little tow head skimming along the top of the water as he dog paddles to the side of the pool and holds onto the side.

He sees Gage walk up and he squeals and quickly climbs out of the pool. Dripping wet, his little feet splat along the concrete flagstones. "Uncle Gage!" he yells out and runs to the chairs where Doug, Gage and Wes were sitting.

Climbing into Gage's lap, he hugs him tightly around the neck and laughs. "Uncle Gage!" Then the hug is relaxed and he sits there, getting Gage all wet with his sopping trunks. "Did you bring me a new toy, Uncle Gage?" crystal blue eyes look up with a broad smile.

Pulling into the gates, he sighs relief and tosses his cigarette out of the window. Driving around the compound, he can see that there's people around the pool. A slow smile curls his lips. It was good to be home. Safe within the security blanket that was the Pi Omega Pi compound.

Leaving his truck in the garage, he lets the mechanic there know that the oil needs changing and to top off all of the fluids. A handshake and thank you later, he tugs his bag to his shoulder and walks into the back entrance of the house.

The familiar sounds of the brothers talking and laughing and doing their daily routine was soothing to him. A little more than upset still, after all, divorces were never easy. And that was why Dirk had come home. He was getting divorced. It still shocked him and he knew he was an ass for leaving Noelle.

Better to leave well enough alone. That's what he kept telling himself. She was better off without him. Hell at one point he had threatened to kill her. What kind of husband was that? He berated himself a lot these days.

Setting his bag down near the door to the pool area, he opens it up and immediately his eyes go to Gage and the boy sitting in his lap. He makes his way over to them and smiles shyly. "Hi guys."

As Dirk approached them, Doug averts his eyes. "Welcome back, bro." he says quietly and not much more. Everybody knew the history there and he just wanted to avoid being around if these two started wailing on each other. But, being a pledge, he couldn't say or do a thing about it.

He looks over to Gage and George, and then gets out of his chair. "Come on George." He takes the boys hand and pulls him from Gage's lap. "Let's go get some grilled cheese from Cookie with a milkshake."

George agrees happily and as the pair leave, he waves to the guys.

New to the organization, it took him a few days to get situated and organized in his room. Everything was in it's place and he finally was starting to feel more comfortable. He had met most of the bros and they all seemed like decent guys he supposed.

He could hear the goings on at the pool and decides to go on out and have a look. Maybe even take a swim. So, with a towel wrapped around his shoulders, and a pair of light green and black trunks on, he heads on out to the pool area. Grabbing up a drink as he passed by Cook in the kitchen.

Brown eyes look around and he sits in a lounge chair not far from the others. His brown skin glistened in the sun and his teeth shone white as he smiles a shy smile. Taking a sip of his drink he just lays his head back and enjoys the sun.

Gage Reynolds

Gage laughs as George is now in his lap and he gives the little boy a hug. Green blues look down at the little guy and nods. "Of course I brought you and your brother both bundles of new toys, but you have to be good today to get them. Besides you know what Uncle Jaden says, no new toys before dinner." He pats the boy on the head.

"Besides what Uncle Jaden says, is what goes little bro." He smiles and doesn't mind at all that now his pants are soaked with pool water. He turns just in time to see Dirk walking through the door and walking up to them.

He lets out a breath and is thankful when Doug takes George. "Hey George, I'll see you at dinner little brother, then after I'll give you and Jake all those new toys." And as Doug walks away with George his attention is back on Dirk.

Standing up he grabs his bag from the floor and shakes his head at Dirk. "I have unpacking to do." He pulls the bag up over his shoulder and walks on past Dirk. This is not the time or place to deal with this situation and he doesn't want anyone else involved in the mess either. On into the house he heads up to his old bedroom.

He listens to Gage as he talks to George, just briefly before Doug takes George into the kitchen. One day Gage is going to make a great father. And he has to smile at that thought.

"Thanks, Doug, good to be back." He nods and watches as Doug and George leave. Then Gage stands up and picks up his own bag. "Yeah, so do I." he nods slowly and just watches as Gage leaves.

Ok, so it wasn't the warm welcome he had expected. But then, what did he expect? A shrug of his shoulders and a light sigh escapes his lips as the door to the kitchen closes behind Gage. Ah well, he'd try to talk to him later.

Turning back, he goes back into the hall that leads to the garage and picks up his leather travelling bag. It's worn and scuffed from all the travelling he did as Rush Chair. Taking long strides, he exits the garage and goes to the old guesthouse. It was still vacant, and wouldn't be for much longer. Dirk was home.

Julian laughs his high pitched hysterical laugh when the first bomb hits a target. "Arriba arriba!" he yells out as he starts to toss down more. Red, blue, yellow and green balloons, all being showered down onto the concrete and innocent victims below. How he loved to watch them scurry about to hide. He didn't see Stephen take off into the house as he was turning to pick up more balloons.

He had just tossed another out when his door flies open with a bang and Stephen comes rushing in. Julian drops the balloon in his hands to the concrete and lets out a scream. Jumping nearly out of his skin, he bumps his head on the window sill.

"Oww!" he rubs his head and backs away from the window and the balloons sitting next to it. "Easy man..." he holds up a hand to Steve.

He goes through the door and on past Cook, a wave given as he goes out the door to the living room, and then finally the stairs. He takes them two at a time until he gets up to Julian's room. Hand on the knob and he turns it, course Julian would be too dumb not to lock his door.. I mean come on..

Throwing the door open he rushes in and spies Julian at the window and the bang to the head. He laughs softly as Julian is all ready to give up. "Easy? Dude, I'm here to join." He laughs even more and looks around the room. "Bathroom I take it?" He nods and walks to the bathroom. He grabs a few balloons then starts to fill them to their full capacity of water.

He holds two gigantic water balloons and rushes on over to the window. First target, well of course that's his brother! He pulls back his hand, making sure to get a good distance for the balloon and when it leaves his hand and makes it's way for Parker's head he can't help but laugh loudly.

Then kaboomage! Target is hit and what a face Park had made, Steve almost drops the other balloon he is laughing so hard.

Parker Reynolds

Up the stairs Parker goes, if you can really call it going up the stairs, more like flying.. Once up the stairs he goes for the door and it's locked!
"Open the damn door, Steve!" He yells but there is a hint of a smile in his voice. "Come on!"

He continues to bang on the door and looks left and right. In the vacant bedroom there is a window that leads to Julian's room, it could be a little dangerous, but come on, what is the worst that can happen? He falls down into the pool? He can handle that, then he would just swim out and try plan B.

So on to plan A. He smacks the door once more then on into the vacant bedroom, he goes on to the window and pulls it up. A grin down at the rest of the people down there at the pool, and a look of.. not so happy Jay looks back up at him. "I'll be fine, don't worry." He says as he climbs out the window and onto the tiny little perch on the outside of it.

So, he didn't remember it being so small the last time he climbed out on it, when he snuck out a couple years back. He holds onto the side of the wall and sort of, shimmies his way very slowly over to Julian's open window.

"Stephen, I'm going to kick your ass.." He mutters under his strained breath.

Eddie had stopped by, and Matt told her the best place to find Jaden was by the pool, having heard the squeals and splashes of the kids. She was delighted - she hadn't seen George in a long time, and she wanted to meet his brother, so off she went, following Matt's directions. She was dressed in her normal stuff - black tee, black jeans, bare feet, hair up in a loose ponytail - definitely not swim attire.

She paused before stepping fully into the pool area, assessing the situation. Looking up and over, she saw a guy crawling out a window onto a ledge. Light brown eyes swept around, noting the position of Dirk - good to see him, Doug - nice to see him too, and that had to be George over by.. bingo. Target locked.

Slowly, she started sneaking up on Jaden, keeping to the shadows, her training kicking in automatically, sticking to the shadows, avoiding the other brothers scattered about. Jaden was close to the edge of the pool.. and soon Eddie was in position.. wait, wait for it.. don't giggle..

When Jaden turned to face the water, Eddie sprang into action - a blur of strawberry and black as she tackled him, sending him flying into the pool!

"Hey there!!"

He and George were sitting at the bar, and he laughs as the boy finishes off a plate of french fries in record time. "Slow down, Georgie." with a shake of his head. Rubbing his hand through the little guy's hair, he teases. "Ouch! Can cut off a finger with them spikes!"

He had caught sight of Eddie as she walked through and he gave her a friendly wave. She was the one they had talked about Jay canoodling with. Perhaps he could get a first hand view of just what that canoodling was!

Leaving George under Cook's watchful eye, knowing full well the boy was quickly going to be spoiled on Cook's magnificent milk shakes, he trails behind Eddie to the pool area. Standing by the door, he watches as she gets into position. When she made her move, Doug was off the door and around the pool in no time flat.

Throw the Pres into the pool? That had to be retaliated for instantly! So as Eddie grins down at Jay triumphantly, Doug runs up behind her and tackles her into the pool. He dove away from her as they went in to avoid hitting her or Jay, but laughing his head off the entire way.

Jaden Linares

In his own little conversation with Del about this and that. He shakes his head and grabs a beer from the cooler as they continue to talk, that is until he looks back and sees Parker up on the ledge. Big brown eyes become even larger.

"Parker, you are going to fall... again." He shakes his head, of course on his watch! He takes a deep breath and turns his head, he cannot watch if Parker falls, last time Parker fell they spent all afternoon in the hospital and he kept showing off his huge black and blue bruise on his bum. A silent prayer in Jaden's head, not again, please.. not again. But then it never really is a party until one of them gets hurt in some way or fashion. It has become the norm.

So as he stands there trying not to watch Parker he is oblivious to all else as he takes a small sip from his beer, never hearing Eddie come up behind him. And with just that push, Jaden and his beer splashing down in the pool. He did not even have time for a yell of surprise with that one. But just like any fraternity brother in Pi Omega Pi, the beer is safe! He kept it up in the air as he went tumbling into the water. Honestly it is a mandatory lesson right there, whatever you do, save the beer. Oh yes, they have classes for it.

He quickly wipes the water out of his face just in time to see Eddie pushed into the water by Doug and he laughs loudly.

Julian Rios

He relaxed visibly when Steve said he was there to join in on the bombarding of the pool area. "Cool man, I knew that." he laughs and goes to fill up a few more balloons for himself. "Did you see the look on Wes' and the dance that Kay did?" and he laughs more.

Carrying his balloons out to the window, he was just in time to see Park get smacked with a balloon. "Dude, that was sweet!" he grins. Then he watches as Park starts to run out of the pool area. "Uh oh, you're dead now!" he sits back and laughs, shaking his head.

When he finally catches his breath, he gets back up and is ready to chuck another balloon out of the window. But something catches the corner of his eye. Something big. Nearly jumping out of his skin and dropping both water balloons straight down, he screams like a little girl when he sees Parker out on the ledge. "Bendejo!" he yells and ducks back into the room.

Eddie was grinning a mile wide after she sent Jaden flying into the pool - until she went in not five seconds later! She tried not to land on the poor President, and came up sputtering and coughing at the unexpected dunking. If Issy heard about this, being caught completely off guard, she'd get ribbed forever..

Her clothes weighed her down, as did her weapons - Eddie went nowhere without her blades. She flailed and kicked and got to the side of the pool as best she could, coughing and laughing as she looked back at Jaden, who of course saved the brew!

Dougie was so gonna get it after she got out of the pool, and got some proper swimming stuff on. For now, she hung onto the side, bobbing towards the ladder, slicking her hair from her eyes as she looked at Jaden, who was laughing like mad!

"I guess I didn't land on you - nice pool you guys have!"

Jaden kept the beer in the air up until he swam his way backwards to edge and there he places it. Well not before getting one more sip from it and then he is back in the water swimming on to Eddie who he watches as she has a bit of trouble getting to the ladder. He turns to make sure once more the beer is off to the side and safe, you can never be too careful with your beer.

And it hits him that she has all those weapons, it was a very good thing she did not fall right on top of him! He could of possibly been stabbed to death. He laughs at his own thoughts and swims on to her. Wrapping an arm around her waist, without the thought of getting stabbed or smacked for touching her, he is after all just helping, and pulling her closer to the ladder as his other hand keeps a hold of it. Course even to him with all the weapons she hardly weighs a thing and it is quite easy to pull her on over.

"Here let me help you." He smiles softly as he pulls her so she can grab a hold of the ladder. "I suppose you did not come over for a dip in the pool?" He grins, for the first time a real gods to honest grin on the fraternity president's face. "I am sure we can find you something more appropriate to swim in if you would like to stay for the barbecue." He says as he moves back so she can get up the ladder.

Between the yelling and the screaming, even the running through the house, it is about time that Joel finally flops out of his bed and goes to his window. In time it would seem to see Doug pushing a girl into the pool, Jay helping her out, and Park, very close to falling off the house, yet again.

He sighs and shakes his head, gray eyes rolling for a moment. "Do you people ever not make so much noise!" He yells down at them all, course he has a smile on his face. He yawns without covering that same pouty mouth that he and his twin shares then moves away from the window. A quick stretch over his head and down to his toes and he is over to the dresser and pulling off his sleepy pants to pull on a pair of trunks.

Might as well join them, and besides, smells like Cook is starting up the grill. Joel is never one to turn down food, he is a bottomless pit much like the rest of the guys. After pulling on his black trunks he opens his door and heads on down the hall, passing Julian's door and banging on it as he walks by then on to the stairs that he hops on down.

"Yo, Cook." He nods to the old man behind the counter then on outside where he watches in very much curiosity Jay and Eddie but soon his attention is up to Park on the wall. Damn, should of brought a camera. He purses his lips at that.

Kaylie Morgan

Getting to the top of the stairs, she heads on to Julian's room. Knowing that's where she'll find Parker. But the door was locked and she kicks it with a pout. "Come on guys, open up!" she yells from behind the locked door.

But then she notices the empty room beside it with it's door open. Walking into the room, she glannces around curiously until she sees Parker going out onto the ledge. A soft gasp and then a giggle as she walks over to the window and sits on the sill. Not saying a word, she simply watches.

Looking below, she waves to Doug, laughing as he pushes the girl into the pool. Poor thing, she's going to need a suit. And Kaylie had just bought a brand new one! Knowing for a fact that it'd look far better on the smaller girl than on her, she gets up from the window sill. "Cya Parker, be careful." she grins then heads on out of the empty room.

She goes to her room and grabs up the bag with the brand new suit (tags attached!) and then goes to the pool area. She settles into a chair not far from where Jaden was helping the girl out and sits back in the resin chair. "I got ya covered, girl." with a grin as she holds the bag out.

Dougie Heuser

He came to the surface of the water and pushes his hair back from his face. He laughs and watches as Jaden tries to help Eddie from the pool. Giving Jay a thumbs up, he calls out. "Got your back, bro!" Then he pulls himself up so that he's laying on his back on the surface of the water and swims to the other side of the pool, just watching with a chuckle.

He counted himself lucky that he didn't slice and dice himself on her weapons. Good grief, the girl was loaded down with so much steel on her back and waist that he was amazed she got up to the surface at all. A shake of his head and he pulls himself up and out of the pool.

By this time Cook already had the grill going and it smelled wonderful. Knowing Cook, there was going to be a full picnic style lunch with potato salad, corn on the cob and God knows what else. His stomach gurgled at the thought!

"Hey Joel." he grins to his friend and walks over to him, clapping him on the back and standing beside him. He looks over at Keith and gives him a grin and then looks back to Jaden and Eddie in the pool. Eyes back to Joel. "Sure smells good out here, doesn't it?" with a grin.

Eddie

Eddie made another face at Doug over Jaden's shoulder, then a little eep! as Jaden wrapped his arm about her, and gently buoyed her up and guided her over to the ladder. Even though she was a good swimmer, the added weight of her clothes, not to mention the dual swords, and the pair of chakra she always had with her, made her very grateful for Jaden's arm, and she returned that grin.

"No, I wasn't expecting the dip - Dougie's gonna pay later." Then her smile softened. "Thank you. I'd love to stay for the barbeque - it smells wonderful."

She hauled herself up the ladder, Jaden making sure she didn't fall back in, water just streaming everywhere. She didn't recognize the girl, but she knew right away she was friendly and sweet, and she took the bag with a smile.

"Thanks so much - so, where I can change?"

She was already unbuckling the swords, which weighed a ton, with the scabbards full of water. The next request would sound odd, but it was necessary..

"Oh, and where's a safe place I can let my blades dry? They'll rust if I don't lay them out somewhere."

She took the bag from Kaylie with a smile, and waited to see which direction to head.

Parker Reynolds

Parker still clings to the side of the house but when a succession of noises, as in, Julian's screaming, Joel's yelling and people calling to him he has to regain his grip on the wall since he does almost.... almost fall.

So when Kaylie even says something he keeps his eyes right for the prize and only mutters out an... "Uh huh." He grits his teeth but he knows that if he can just make it to the window fully he will get to make his brother and Julian pay for busting that balloon on his face, not head.. but face!

"Steven... Julian.." He growls out but he can't help laughing, but just then his right hand slips off the wall and he has to quickly grab the railing of the balcony from falling totally down on the concrete. Yeah, Parker doesn't want to break anything this time but not always older the wiser.

Finally he gets both hands on the railing and he spots Steven in the window and he manages to pulls himself up on the balcony and rush for that window. "You guys are going to get it!" He yells.

And dives into the window with a very loud thud.

Kaylie Morgan

She got up from her chair with a bit of a giggle. "Come with me, you can change in my room." Grabbing hold of Eddie's hand, she starts towards the kitchen. Her own suit now completely dried and a softer magenta and blue color than earlier when it was soaked and looked like a bad easter egg dye job.

Looking up, she sighs with relief that Parker had made it into the window. Then her eyes go to Jaden. "Don't worry, I'll bring her back in one peice." she giggles again and squeezes Eddie's hand. As she walks along, she continues to look over her shoulder at Eddie. "Jaden's such a sweet guy." with a nod. "And everybody here looks up to him."

Eventually they get to Kaylie's room and she opens up the door to let Eddie in and shows her the bathroom. "You can lay your blades across the towel rack. That should get them nice and dry by the time the barbeque is over." She goes over and plops onto her bed. Rolling onto her stomach, she puts her elbows to the bed and supports her head with her hands. Knees bent, feet crossed, they sway gently behind her. "So dish, what's up with you and Jay anyway?" with a giggle. She missed the girl talk with her girlfriends back at home.

Once they reached Kaylie's room, Eddie stepped into the bathroom, and unsheathed her blades in the bathtub so the water didn't get everywhere. First one, then the other, was emptied, and the swords laid across the towel rack, scabbards inverted in the tub to completely drain. The chakra followed the swords to the rack, set atop the blades. Then came the business of changing from her wet things. Jeans, tee, and delicates were laid out over the edge of the tub, and a quick peek in the bag found the swimsuit ideal - black, with a subtle pattern in the fabric, high-neck, with a crisscrossing of straps across the back.

After changing, and fixing her hair so she had less of the drowned rat look, she heard Kaylie ask about Jaden, which brought back that color to her cheeks. "Dishing" for a Judge usually involved some new form of punishment for wrongdoers, so this was a rather new concept for Eddie. She used one of the washclothes to chase down teeny little water spots on one of the blades as a smile lit up her face.

"Well, we hang out and talk a lot - I've gotten him to try this new cafe mocha in the Market, and he's gotten me into a sweet tea blend he likes from where he's from. I didn't like tea much before."

A little pause, as she hunted down more water drops. "It's like I can talk to him about anything. He's the sweetest, nicest guy I've ever met."

Then. she stepped fully out to show off the suit. "Thanks a million - it fits perfectly. I didn't get your name - I'm Eddie." A bright smile, and rosy cheeks, accompanied her outstretched hand.

She just lay there, watching from the bed, the meticulous care that Eddie was giving her blades. She knew that somebody that took that much care of their weapons would take care of everything else in her life as well and it brought another smile to Kaylie's face. She diverted her eyes when Eddie was changing into the suit and hugged a pillow nearby.

When Eddie walked out into the bedroom, Kaylie looked up and smiled. "I'm glad somebody got him out of that office. He always seemed so stand-offish to me. I guess he's just a busy guy. I mean, really. Dealing with some of these guys has to be a full time job." with a nod.

"The suit looks good on you." with another grin. "You can keep it. Leave it here if you want, so you have it for next time." Climbing off of the bed, she takes Eddie's hand and shakes it firmly. "I'm Kay. Cole and Joel are my cousins and Wes is my best friend." she was so use to explaining her association to the guys here that it just came out naturally.

The more Eddie's face lit up the more Kaylie grinned. "You're quite taken with him, aren't you?" with a laugh. "Jaden's not my type. Now that Parker... wow!" she giggles. "Now that's hot!"

Hearing that growled laugh of his name, he scoots back away from the window and looks at Steve. ""You're brother's loco!" he laughs and peeks out of the window at the advancing Parker. His jaw drops and he utters a squeak when Parker nearly falls. "Dude..." he looks back to Steve once more.

He had turned to pick up a water balloon when all 6' 3" and 193 pounds of Park came flying into the window. And sure enough, Julian made it a rather soft landing for Park. "Oooof!" as his hands fly up and the balloon is launched into the air.

Uttering a string of Spanish obscenities, he wriggles to get out from under Park. The balloon had reached the apex of it's shallow arc and was on it's way down. "Parker, man, get off of me! Here it..." and he doesn't have time to answer as that balloon lands on the both of them, bursting and soaking both.

"You know, I haven't met Parker yet. Most of the guys I've just seen hanging around. Cole and Joel? I'm guessing they're twins? Maybe I'll get to put some names to all the faces I've seen."

She shook Kaylie's hand firmly, but not too much so, then let it go with a grin. "It's really nice to meet you - and thanks again for the suit. You're a lifesaver! I think I will keep it here, in case Doug decides to push me in the pool again." That grin showed she wasn't mad at him in the least.

The smell of barbeque filtered up into Kaylie's room, and made Eddie's mouth water. "Man that sure smells good - I think I'm gonna swim some, then stay for a bite. I picked the perfect day to drop in!"

She headed to the door, waiting on Kaylie.

A giggle as Eddie speaks. "Yeah, those are my twin cousins. You'll absolutely adore them. I know just about everybody else does." with a cheeky little grin. "And you'll find that most of the guys here are steaming hot, and with great personalities. All of them are so lovable!" She giggles again. "And once you're adopted in, you'll never have better friends and protectors. They treat all the girls like their own sisters. They're amazing."

As they head out of the room, she has a bounce to her step. "No need to thank me for the suit, I've got a ton of them!" she laughs and turns her head to look at Eddie as they walked and talked down the hall, her hair flying over her shoulder and landing in a straight sheath down her back.

"You did pick a perfect day! But then, there's always some kind of fun going on around here. Once you start coming around more often, you'll see."

After unpacking, Dirk could smell the barbecue and it made his mouth water. Stomach grumbling, he pulls on a pair of jammers and grabs a towel from the bathroom. Pulling a pair of sandals onto his feet, he makes a beeline for the door.

Once outside, he follows his nose to the indoor pool. The scent of the barbecue chicken, steaks, hotdogs and hamburgers is tantalizing and he smiles for Cook. He was always amazed by the older man's culinary talents. Quick to grab up a plate of food, he makes his way to a lounger and has a seat.

An upnod to Jaden, Doug and Joel as he starts to chow down. Grinning with a mouthful of food he swallows it down. "What's up, bros?"

So far, he had avoided the water bombs and was just enjoying the sun and being by the pool. He had a cool drink in his hand, surrounded by his new found friends and Cook had started a barbecue. Could life get any sweeter? A grin curls his lips and he thinks of how it could be.

They had warned him about that beautiful little cupcake that lived upstairs. But he couldn't get her out of his head. Images of her in a bikini just made that grin grow even more. Man she was fine and he wanted to get to know her. A lot.

Maybe today would be the day he gets up the nerve to talk to her. Everybody said she had a viper's tongue and that she could cut you in two with it. He didn't care. He just wanted to touch that smooth mocha colored skin and feel her warmth under his hands. It sent a shiver through him as he sits and daydreams.

The bombs had stopped and so far now it was mainly everyone coming back out and mingling. Course he has not seen Eddie for a while, must be still in the house talking with Kaylie. He knows that sometimes girls have to be alone and talk and you do not want to learn the hard way of getting in the way of that.

He looks up when Dirk comes out and he nods back. "Dirk." He slides out of the pool and runs his hands through wet dark brown hair and moves on over to the ice box and pulls out a beer and opens it and has a sip. "Been a while Dirk, home for good?" He smiles. Of course he is happy to see his brothers all back.

Grabbing another beer he walks over to Dirk and sets a beer down on the table next to him. Then sits down on the chair on the other side of Dirk and sips his beer, dark brown eyes looking around the pool as more brothers start to come back out for the food, of course the food. Bunch of growing boys right? He laughs and shakes his head, then another sip of his beer.

She grinned back to Kaylie. "You know, I just might start coming by more often - especially if Cook's grilling! It smells soo good! See you by the pool!"

Then Eddie was back in the pool area, with the new black suit and a towel slung over her shoulder - she was prepared for dunkings this time! She quickly looked around to see who was all there, and to see if any more balloon bombs were coming. The upper window seemed quiet now. She saw Dirk, and Jaden sitting a little ways away, so she snuck on over, barely making the puddles ripple. A quick touch of her finger to her lips for Dirk - she wanted to surprise Jaden.

Then, small hands covered Jaden's eyes from behind. "Guess who?" Of course the giggle she couldn't hold back was sure to give her away.

An upnod to Jay and he grins around the mouthful of food. Always respectful, or he's trying to be anyway, he swallows that mouthful down before speaking. "Jay." with a another trademark grin. "Been too long, and you know, I think I will stay awhile." he nods, hazels to the beer. Putting his plate down, he picks up the beer and cracks it open.

The laugh and look on Jay's face was going to have him asking what had made him in such a great mood. But then Eddie's approach and her gesture had him figuring it out pretty quick. He was glad for his bro and he looks away, towards the pool with a sip of his beer. He didn't want to spoil her surprise.

"Gone for a very long time, good to have you back Dirk." He nods and returns a smile for him. "And you know we never did touch your room except to clean it, always a home for you here, even if you do get on my nerves sometimes." He laughs softly.

Then there are a pair of hands over his eyes. "Guess who?" He smiles and puts his own hands over hers. "I think you must be an angel by the way that giggle sounded." He smiles even more and very slowly his hands go up her arms and then he turns and pulls her over and into his lap.

"What do we have here." He looks at her, the smile never leaving his face, course her towel had dropped on the ground and he leans down to pick it up and set it on the edge of the chair. "Did you want to eat before you swam some more Eddie? The food is all done and I can get you plate if you like."

Jaden's hands over hers made Eddie giggle more, which became full-blown laughter when he pulled her into his lap, her towel falling off her shoulder. With a grin, she put her arm about his shoulders, and leaned up to plant a little kiss on his cheek after he set her towel on the edge of the chair for her - always the gentleman.

"I think you've got a hungry girl here." And her stomach growled right then, to prove it! "Cook's barbeque smells so good - I would love a little plate of whatever he's been grilling - you know all the stuff I like."

Her smile was soft and sweet as she leaned against him for a moment longer. "Then after, I'd love to take a real swim!"

Dirk just grins and shakes his head. It was good to finally see Jaden let his hair down, so to speak and actually have a good time. Getting up he looks down at them both. "You two stay comfy. I'll get you both a plate." he gives Eddie a playful wink, then heads on over to the grill area.

Returning a few minutes later, arms laden down with three plates of food, just piled high with burgers, ribs, chicken, cole slaw, potato salad, corn on the cob and poke salad, he maneuvers a table to sit before the three chairs and places the plates, one at a time, onto the table.

"Tada!" he grins and sits back down. "Oh!" he jumps back up and runs to get cool drinks for them all. A beer for himself, Cokes for the two lovebirds in the chairs beside him. Once more he comes back over, depositing the drinks onto the table as well.

"Lunch, is served." he grins, in a very bad English accent.

Eddie was all set to move so that Jaden could get up, but when Dirk said he'd get plates, she settled back happily into his lap, her arm about him as she laid her head on his shoulder, all rosy-cheeked from that saucy wink Dirk gave before heading to where Cook was grilling. She gave him a little hug.

"I'm so glad I stopped by today.."

Then Dirk returned with enough food not only for them, but for half her Sisters as well! Her eyes went wide as he set the overloaded plates on the table, moving it so they could reach without having to get up. "Whoa - did you leave any for the rest of the guys there, Dirk? If I eat all that, I won't be moving for a week!"

She reached to take one of the ribs - one thing she wasn't, was shy about eating! The sauce got all on her fingers, even on her cheeks as she munched, her eyes lighting up. "Oh he's outdone himself this time!"

Still perched in Jaden's lap, she finished the rib, setting the bone on the side of her plate, giggling as she went to lick the sauce from her fingers - it was too good to waste!

He just got settled down into the chair, hands poised over his plate, ready to tear into a burger when she asked if he left enough for the rest of the brothers. "Naa, you're right, maybe I should go put some back."

He leans over and was about to grab her plate, a teasing grin on his face but then she grabbed up that rib and started to chow down. "Yikes!" he pulls his hand away and laughs. "Nearly lost an arm there."

Watching her eat, he shakes his head in amazement. "I thought Ollie was the only one to grub down like that. That's impressive." another laugh and he finally takes a bite from his burger. A bit of ketchup squirts from the bottom and lands on his bare chest. "Oh!" He had forgotten the napkins that he had put into his pocket. Reaching in, he grabs the napkin and puts them onto the table.

Looking back at Eddie as he starts to clean up the ketchup, he grabs up another napkin and holds it out to her. "Here you need this as bad as I do." and he laughs again.

"Hungry girl indeed." He chuckles softly as her stomach growls, he wraps his arms around her slim waist as she settles on his lap and her head goes to his shoulder. "I'm glad you stopped by as well." He rests his head on hers and gives her forehead a small kiss before looking up at Dirk and nodding.

Brown eyes watch Dirk and he laughs softly when he comes back with huge plates of food. A shake of his head. "Did not leave much for the others, good thing Cook has gone to making more." He smiles and settles back on the chair and keeps Eddie held close, even as she begins to eat.

Somehow he manages to reach over and grab one of those drinks that Dirk set on the table and takes a sip of it as she eats, one hand still firmly around her waist. "Cook is an amazing chef, I believe he was here before any of us. Perhaps even before Brandt when the Fraternity House was a private primary school." Another sip of his drink. "Of course this was all way back before any of us were even thought of."

Another small smile as Dirk and Eddie converse. His fingers brushing over her bathing suit gently, just a gentle caress really. He sets his drink back over on the table and his now free arm rests on the side of Eddie's leg. Though when Dirk holds out a napkin for her he slides his hand out and grabs it. "I will hold it for her thank you, she seems to be rather busy at the moment." He laughs and watches her continue to eat, but then turns to look up at the house. "I do hope they have not killed one another up there." He frowns for a moment but then turns and looks back at Dirk and Eddie.

"It is good to have you back in the house again Dirk, planning on causing even more mayhem for the masses?" He smiles and of course he is joking. "Did you want to take up the rush chair again?"

"I think you're right about that, Jaden. Cook's been here as long as any of the others can remember. And there's mention of him in the Sacred Book as well." with a nod and he tears into his burger. Wiping the excess ketchup from the corner of his mouth, he quirks a brow at Jaden's sudden possessiveness. It effectively cut off any further bantering between himself and Eddie. He can't help but grin, Jaden seemed a little jealous.

"Uh, ok. Jay, it's just a napkin. Not like she can't hold her own." he laughs softly. Looking up to the wnidow of Julian's room he has to admit, it's been too quiet. Considering who is up there, way too quiet. "Naa, more like plotting ways to prank us. Maybe shaving cream in with the water in the balloons?" His glance goes back to Jay and Eddie.

"It's good to be back, Jay. And, of course, I'm going to raise as much hell as I can. I mean, somebody's got to keep you on your toes." he finishes off his burger and then looks to Jaden with surprise. "You're offering me Rush Chair again? I'd be glad to do it. I love to travel. It makes coming home that much sweeter."

It was a good thing Jaden took the napkin for her... because her hands were full! The ribs were so good, she was munching another one, then a third, setting the bones on the edge of her plate. Sauce smeared her cheeks, and she snuck a lick of her fingers before taking that napkin from Jaden, dabbing at the sauce.

"Those are the best ribs I've ever had!"

She set the napkin back on the table, and went for the corn on the cob next, still snuggled in Jaden's lap, listening to him and Dirk talk as she ate, light brown eyes checking the upper windows for movement. It was way too quiet up there.

Honestly he took the napkin since she seemed a bit busy at the moment. He smiles and watches her eat for another moment then turns brown eyes to Dirk as he talks.

And Jaden laughs softly. "I was just going to hold it for her while she ate the ribs." He shakes his head. "Well if they are up there plotting again, I can only imagine what those few could be coming up with." A soft sigh but the smile still on his lips. "I suppose we will find out sooner or later."

When Eddie takes the napkin from him and laughs at the smudge of sauce on her cheeks and reaches over grabbing another napkin to gently wipe a bit that she seems to of missed. "Yes, Cook does make the best ribs that any of us have had, I sometimes wonder what secrets he holds but anyone that goes into his kitchen quickly vanishes.." He gets close to her and uses his best spooky voice with that and then kisses her cheek with a chuckle.

"Well Dirk I would really like for you to take the Rush Chair back, Josh is thinking about taking over as Financial Director for me, and honestly that is a breath of fresh air with all the responsibility that goes with it." He nods.

"I know you have just now arrived back, but it is greatly appreciated that you will take it back, consider it done." He smiles softly and wraps now both arms around Eddie's waist and holds her a bit tighter. "I already have a list drawn up and ready in my office. Any time you are ready you are more then welcomed to it."

Listening and eating, he nods in the appropriate places and smiles. "Like I said, I'd be happy to take the position back. I loved doing it before." with a slight nod and a wipe to his own mouth after he devoured the burger.

"You're right about those up there. I should go check on them." he gets up out of his chair and picks up his now empty plate and empty glass. "Nice talking to you, Eddie, Jay. Catch you guys later."

After dumping his trash, he made his way inside. No way he was going to go up into that room. So he meanders around for a while and ends up in the library. Finding a good book, he settles onto a plush chair and starts to read.
