Dean woke up pretty early, a teething one year old can do that to you. He grins as he hears his son babbling in the crib against the wall. "I'm awake, little guy." His son babbles that much louder. Usually the nonstop.. "Da... da..."

Climbing out of the bed he walks over to the crib, reaching his hands for the little boy and picking him right out of the crib. "You love to wake up your daddy, don't you?" He whispers and kisses both of those chubby cheeks twice before setting the boy down on the floor. "Let me get your dipey and stuff together." He moves over to the "diaper station" and grabs a diaper and wipes. Grabbing his son up in his arms, even a raspberry to that little tummy before he's plopped down on the bed and changed. "Leaving me presents, huh?" Dean chuckles and tickles his son's stomach, a game or two of peek-a-boo, before getting him dressed for the day.

Once Daniel is changed and all fresh and clean, Dean yawns a bit and sets his boy back into the crib. The nanny usually shows up right around this time and Dean starts to get dressed. Hoping he can get in some practice of the new songs him and Jam wrote out a few months ago.

And as he's finally dressed, the nanny, Laura, knocks on the door. Dean opens the door and smiles. "Hey Laura, just in time. I'm heading down to the studio for a bit. The munchkin is already awake." He chuckles.

Laura nods with a smile and walks into the room. "Diaper changed and all?" She turns to look at Dean as he's near the door.

"Come on now, I can at least change a diaper, right?" He chuckles and walks back over to his son and gives him a few more kisses. "I." He whispers. "Love." And makes a heart with his hands. "You!" And attacks his son's little neck with kisses, Daniel squeals and giggles loudly. "I do." Dean smiles and turns to Laura. "I won't be too long, if you need me I'll be down in the studio, cell always on, intercom, you know, the usual." He nods to her.

Laura sat there and watched Dean and Daniel with a smile. When he turns to her she nods quickly. "Have a great day, Mr. Santiago."

"Dean." He reminds her for probably the twentieth time with a smile. "Dean, I don't mind, really." He goes on out the door with one more wave to his little boy.

Laura goes to the crib and smiles down at Daniel. "Hi there." They spend a few moments together before Laura begins to clean, leaving Daniel in his secure crib, she goes out to the hall to throw away the trash. She comes back just in time to see Rhyannon in there with Daniel. She smiles and lets her and the baby spend time together alone.



Dean didn't even make it to the studio yet, he was in the kitchen having a few pumpkin muffins, that Cook always has prepared for The Pumpkin King. He stuffs another muffin into his mouth and then hears the yelling. Course he drops everything and starts running up the stairs till he is at the doorway.

"What happened?!" Hazel eyes a bit wide, worry on his face.

Dean stands there in the doorway and watches as Rhy cries and bounces Daniel. The moment the sounds came out of his son's mouth he smiles. The worry vanishes just as quickly as it had arrived.

"Wow." He whispers and walks into the room, a hand to his son's chubby little cheek. "Mama." He chuckles and gives a tiny pinch to that chubby cheek. "Before we know it you are going to be talking a mile a minute, won't you?" He chuckles and gives a kiss to his son's perfect little nose. "Love you."

Hazels go to Rhy and he smiles brightly. "Love you too." He whispers and leans in to place a kiss on her lips, also raising his hand to wipe away those happy tears from her face.

"That's so great." He laughs and wraps his arms around the both of them. "I told you he adored you, maybe more then I do." His brows lift but the wink at Rhy shows he's playing around.

"I was just heading down into the studio, didn't know you were stopping by, Pumpkin. But I can always stay here and spend time with you and Daniel." He smiles and leans in to kiss Rhy and then Daniel on the cheeks. "My babies."
