Lounging lazily in front of the TV with a beer in one hand, watching a game. He really wasn't into it, but it was something to do. Tristan had went to Europe to gather more furnishings for the manor. So he was alone in the guest house. Clad in just a pair of sweat pants, socks and a t-shirt, it was definitely a lazy day. Socked feet crossed at the ankles as he lounges comfortably. Another pull at the beer before his intercom box buzzes. "Guest for you at the gate, Dirk." Matt's voice came through.

A soft sigh as he gets up and pushes the button. "Thanks Matt, be right there." Then he lets the button go. Whoever it was, they were going to have to deal with the fact that he wasn't going to get dressed. Sweats were great for a Saturday afternoon of laziness. Going to put on a pair of walking shoes, he heads on out of the door.

The day was another brilliantly gorgeous one. The sky was a deep blue and there were tall cumulous clouds as puffy as marshmallows in the heavens. He strolls along the pathway, gravel crunching under his feet. A wave to a few of the brothers as he passes them, but he doesn't say a whole lot. The gate was a good five minute walk from the front door of the guest house, and he stretched it out to ten. He was in no hurry.

Reaching the gate, he goes into the guard shack and a smile is given to Matt. "So, who is it this time? Tristan's out of town and nobody else comes to see me." he laughs and picks up the clipboard. He recognized most of the names on the list, except the last one. "Hmm..." he looks back to Matt who had a bit of a confused look on his face. "What?" he laughs.

Matt was stunned. At first, when the stranger had come up to the gates, he thought it was Dirk and was about to let him in. But when the stranger actually asked for Dirk, he took another look. "Uh, sure. I need your name and I'll page him." he shook his head and took his name and paged Dirk. Now, seeing Dirk, and then looking back to Shane, he is amazed at how much they look alike. He doesn't say anything, just pushes a button and the gate opens.

"Thanks Matt." he looks at the big guy curiously before heading out to greet his guest at the gate. When the gate opened up, Dirk's jaw drops. Walking up to Shane, it's as if he's looking into a mirror. "Who are you?" he whispers softly, eyes narrowing. This guy's eyes so much like his own, it was frightening.

"The name's Shane, but I wouldn't expect you to know that. Can we go someplace to talk, alone?" he was quiet and held his hands together in front of himself. His eyes held Dirk's face in fascination. Dirk's mother had said that he was the spitting image of Dirk, but he had no idea it was this close of a resemblance. Hell, he'd been raised to believe that nobody looked like him. That he had no siblings. And now, here he was, face to face with a brother he'd never known.
