A motorbike pulls up to the large frat house and stops in front of the gates. The rider of the bike reaches up to take off the helmet. When she does, her shoulder length chestnut hair falls over her shoulders, and hangs around her face like a curtain. Those soft almond eyes of hers look around.

"There has to be someone around here who can tell me where the hell I am..." Was said rather loudly, but more or less to herself. She gets off of her bike and sets her helmet on the seat before running her fingers through her hair. "What the hell am I supposed to tell whoever lives here... Hi I'm an idiot who got herself lost?" She shook her head, laughing a little at the thought of telling that to whoever lived here. "I wonder if anyone is outside..." She would question, heading towards the gate. Those soft eyes of hers gazed around...

"Anyone around here?!" She would yell out. Her face was pale, but her cheeks were getting a darker shade of red by the moment... Could she be any more lost...

It was his turn in the guard shack. Seemed that pledges were trained in security and so here he was. Reading a book and eyeing the monitors every once in a while. Truly it had been a very slow and boring night. So boring that if the sound of the motorcycle's exhaust hadn't happened at that particular moment, he might have fallen asleep.

But the sound does permeate his hearing and he sits up. "Crap." he mutters, knowing that he could get in trouble if he had fallen asleep. Getting up from the chair he was planted in, he stretches, hands over his head.

With a yawn, he walks to the door of the guard shack and peers out just in time to watch the helmet come off and dark hair come tumbling down. A double blink and a raise of his brow, but he remains silent. Grabbing the notebook from the counter, along with a pen, he steps out of the shack.

He has to cover his mouth to stifle the laugh. She was talking to herself? Finally clearing his throat he cants his head slightly and speaks. "You could just say who you are?" with a laugh. "And you're in front of the fraternty compound."

She was still looking about for a few moments when she heard the footsteps and the voice speaking to her. Cue the embarassment! Her cheeks instantly turned red... there was definetly no way he didn't hear her talking to herself like she was.

Spinning to face the man she looked him over once, and then looked to the ground, bringing a hand up to the back of her neck. "Well... I uh... AJ... people call me AJ." She would not, trying hard to get the words to come out as clearly as they could.

Fraternity compound? Out of all the places she could have ended up, she ended up at a Frat house.... "Well, what I mean when I asked myself... Where the hell am I? I didn't mean.. " Pause, along with an akward laugh. "I mean what city or town am I in... what country.... Hell, it would be nice if I knew what world I am in, because I'm definetly not in Massachusetts anymore." Her almond eyes took their gaze from the ground and she looked at him once more... "I probly sound like an idiot.... don't I?"

He watches with a mild amusement in his eyes, but attempts to keep a straight face so as to not make her feel any more embarassed and uncomfortable than she already was. "Actually you'd be surprised at how many people ask that." he shakes his head.

"A.J. you are in Rhydin, a city within itself and that's all I really know about it myself. I've only been here a short while." he shrugs and walks towards her and the bike slowly. He was assessing the situation and it seemed she posed no imminent danger to himself.

As he approaches her, he shifts the notebook from right hand to left and extends his hand. "I'm Tyler, Tyler Redfield and it's nice to make your acquaintance." he smiles. "If the brothers can be of any assistance, please don't hesitate to ask."

The blush faded away after a moment... he didn't seem too dangerous. "Rhy'Din... Well, now I know that I'm definetly not anywhere near home... mission accomplished." She would note with a bright, and dazzling smile that had become trademark just about.

She eyed him as he stepped closer to her, but eased a little. He seemed nice enough. Studying the notebook she nodded to herself a little. Trustworthy as a stranger gets one woudl suppose.

She looked to his hand, pausing for a moment before extending her delicate hand to take his with. The handshake was rather femimine for her... did that wreck knock a couple screws loose... thinking of that she reached up to touch the deep wound on her neck. "Nice too meet you Tyler..." Another smile for him. "Uhh... maybe I could get some bandages or something for this?" She would ask, her hand being only slightly covered in blood. The wound started at the back of her neck and wrapped around to her collar bone, deeper in some places then others. "And uhh... maybe a name of a hotel or something."

As she stepped forward and into the lamplight, he shook her hand and then released it. A frown creases his brow at the wound to her neck and he cranes his own neck to get a good look.

A low whistle and he steps to the side and puts his arm out in the direction of the shack. "Let me see what I've got in there, as far as first aid stuff. Maybe I can get a healer out here." He looks between A.J. and the guard shack.

"Come on inside. You'll be safe in here." he smiles.

"I would have healed it myself..." Wincing. "But I never took the time to learn how to..." She noted, giving him an akward smile. Studying him in the light once more.

"I don't mind a scar... so you don't have to bother anyone really. If you don't have anything I can just find something that'll do." Said with a normal tone, as if her neck wound was normal conversation.

"In there? Alright... but after you Tyler." She would say with a smile, motioning him to head for it.

He listens to her, eyes never leaving the wound on her neck. He was assessing the damage with a trained eye. "I'm not worried about a scar so much as infection." he nods slowly and continues to step to the side.

But then he walks into the shack before her, as she had asked. He starts to rummage through counters to find the first aid kit. By the looks of that wound, there wasn't much he could do. But, he could at least clean and dress the wound if nothing else.

Looking back over his shoulder as he finds the kit, he waits for her to come into the shack. And when she does, he rises and holds up the bandages and some peroxide. "It's not much, but it'll do in a pinch."

"Have a seat." he motions to a stool near the counter. "Just how did you do this anyway?" as he slides on a pair of latex gloves.

"An infection is the least of my worries..." She said at this point.. already have passed out once from the loss of blood, all she wanted really was to simply get it covered so there wouldn't be as much blood flow as there was.

Following after him she watched him closely as he rummaged about for a few moments before holding up the peroxide and bandages. "Meh, I'm used to using alcohol to clean cuts..." Shrugging she sat down after he spoke..

"Well... I was angry to begin with so I was on my bike, speeding through a forest. I hit this strange fog and couldn't see a thing. I guess I hit something because the next thing I know I'm flying into the air... then I hit the ground. I don't know how long I was out... but when I woke up I was in the glen with this nice cut on my neck... passed out once after that and now I'm having a pretty easy time staying awake..." Shrugging she would pull the neck of her shirt to show the whole cut.

"Infection should be a worry." he shakes his head and starts to dab the cotton bolls onto the top of the bottle of peroxide, then advances towards her with it. "Nothing worse than turning septic or gangrene." Then he gently swipes at the wound on her neck. Indeed, it was not a fresh wound and already had started to heal. But as the peroxide goes to her neck, it starts to bubble.

"Alcohol is good, but it doesn't get oxygen into the wound and flush out the bacteria and other germies that are in there." he contentrates on what he's doing. Tossing the bolls into the trash, he lifts a few more and dabs them on the top of the peroxide and continues cleaning the wound. "Man, whatever you did to that tree, it surely didn't like it." he laughs.

"Yeah, well that's how most people get into Rhy'din. They just suddenly wake up here, not knowing where they are or how they got here. And it's funny that most decide to stay put." he shrugs then tosses the bolls into the trash. "Let me get a bandage on that and you'll be good to go."

He goes back to the first aid kit and lifts out some gauze and tape. He removes the rubber gloves and replaces them with new ones before walking back over to her. "So, you staying somewhere?"

"Ah, true... gangrene is a nasty thing, no?" And for the first time since she spoke, the light hint of a french accent appeared in her voice. To the swipes of peroxide on her neck she didn't flinch but mearly breathed a light sigh, almost as if that was refreshing to her.

"Yeah.. but the guys I hung out with treated me like I was some sort of wimp... so I ended up using alcohol on all cuts... one thing most of them didn't like to do." She said with a chuckle. "And I have no idea how I cut my neck open... I should have been fine with the helmet on, but who knows." Shrugging a little she glanced to him with a smile.

"Funny... that night when I was riding my only intention was to get far from home... and look. I more than likley couldn't be any further from my home.." A small smile to herself.

To the last question she shook her head. "No... I only stayed in the inn one night, but I only have so much money.." Shrugging. "I should find myself a job... and a place around here."

"Ah, yes, gangrene is very nasty." he nods, continuing to work on her neck and shoulder. He listens to her talk as he applies the dressing. It wasn't pretty but it was sterile and it would keep out any further infection while the wound healed.

Once he was done, he leans back against the counter and removes the rubber gloves. He nods, listening to her speak. He smiles back and shrugs. "Maybe a tree limb caught up under your helmet?" he shrugs as well, it was just a suggestion and seemed logical enough.

He nods once more, then picks up the phone. "Let me talk to Jay, there's a house just for the ladies of the guys that live here. Maybe you could crash there for the night and then tomorrow head on out." he looks down once Jay answers and he tells him the situation. He hesitates and nods. "Thanks Jay. I'm sure she'll appreciate it. Have a good night." Then he hangs up the phone.

"Just sign in and I'll give you direction to the girl's house." He looks up at her once more and picks up a clipboard with a pen attached to it. "And you might want to try looking in the market place for a job. O'Dell's Deli is always hiring and there's even small apartments above the shop." He grabs one of the Pi Omega Pi business cards from a holder and he flips it over. Writing a name down, he holds the card out to her. "Take this to Sadie when you get to the deli. I'm sure she can use another set of hands." he smiles as he holds out that card.

"Tree limbs.. the root to all evil no?" She said, with a bright smile on her face. "Sounds logical..." Shrugging a little she settled into her chair.

She looked to the phone in his hand and blinked a few times. "No you ... don't relly... I could just." But it was too late, and he talks to the one on the line.

"Uh... very well. I guess I can't refuse." Shrugging she simply signed her name, a very fancy singature she has. "O'Dell's Deli... got ya." She noted in mind, she looked to the card when he hands it to her and slips it into her back pocket. "Very well, I'll keep it in mind, thank you so much."

Once she's taken the business card, he steps back and towards the entrance to the shack. Button pushed and the gates to the compound start to chug open. "Alright then, just go through the gates and stick to the main road. The house is about two miles down, on the right."

He gives her a lopsided grin. "You'll know it, Evi had it painted powder blue. She'll be there, but she's use to people coming and going so it realy shouldn't be a big deal."

Stepping outside of the shack, he gives another smile. "Enjoy your stay."
