Dirk had gone about his daily routine with much more energy for the past week or so. Ever since he had found out that his cousin, and partner in crime, Oliver was coming to the frat house, Dirk had been on cloud nine. To anybody who would listen, he would recount over and again the antics and trouble that he and his cousin had caused and gotten into.

So the day arrives and Dirk wakes up early. He showers and does his daily stuff with half the time it usually takes. Oliver was due to arrive at two in the afternoon. And here it is only 9 am. He had woken up Gage and got a pillow thrown at him for his trouble on that. Gage loved his sleep. So he goes down to eat breakfast.

Dirk keeps checking the clock. Time hadn't moved so slow in all of his life. After breakfast, it was only 1030 in the morning. Maybe a swim would make the time go by faster! So he gets changed and goes to the pool area. Diving in, he swims for what seems, to him, hours. Getting out of the pool finally, he checks the time. Only 12!!

He dries off and goes into the house. A movie would definitely make the last couple of hours go by more quickly. It had to! So he pops a movie into the DVD player and starts watching it. After the first half an hour or so, his eyes keep going to the digital clock on the DVD player. 1230 ticks by. He tries his best to concentrate on the movie. But his eyes flicker to the clock again... 12 45. Good grief would the time ever speed up?!

Dirk hears the crunch of tires on the gravel outside and he jumps from the couch. Racing to the door, only to see that it's another of Julian's little latinas. "Oh hi." he steps back. "Up the stairs, third floor, second door on the right." Ah well, he goes back to trying to watch the movie.

By this time it's 130 and the movie is over and Dirk is standing by the door, looking out the window. He could barely hold his excitment in a moment longer. He hadn't seen his cousin in what seemed a lifetime!

The moment the car pulled up and Ollie stepped out of it, Dirk was at the door, opening it wide and stepping out onto the porch. "Ollie!" he laughs and rushes to him, embracing him tightly. With a couple of claps on the back he stands back with a huge grin on his face. "Man, you've grown!"

Ollie's Morning of Leaving:

To Ollie a day usually begins at the crack ass of dawn, even before that damn rooster can make that infernal noise, Ollie is up. And more times then one that rooster had boots, rocks, and sticks thrown at it as Ollie passed it by. Damn bird. But today he was able to sleep in.. A little gift from his parents that they didn't send Granny in to smack his head with the broom and tell him to 'Git on down to the barn and milk them there cows.'

And here he is, sprawled out on his bed, covers only on his rear, which yes just like his cousin he doesn't sleep in those constricting clothes or boxers. Nope, Ollie likes to let the boys hang free.. Anyway, enough about that. The only thing that startles Ollie from his peaceful dream is the damn rooster. Steel blue eyes fly open. "That damn bird!" He yells as he jumps out of the bed and goes to pulling on his boxers, jeans, and shoes on in record time. He heard his Granny yelling at him to get down to the barn but he ran on out the door. "Where are you, you damn bird!?" He goes running into the back yard, picking up a stick on the way. "Oh.. birdie birdie.." He says over and over, now the rooster use to Ollie doing this has gone off behind the chicken coup, and who says they have tiny brains?

"Ah shit." He mutters and tosses the stick down. He is already awake after all.

"Get your arse ready, bout time to head out there, Ollie!" Comes his Father's voice. Ollie turns and slides a hand through his dark blond hair. "Ah, right." He nods and goes on back into the house, going about getting his bags together and even Ollie is excited about getting the hell out of dodge. No more milking the cows, and feeding the chickens.. And no more watching Darla flaunting her last new 'up to do' beau in his face. Yeah, Ollie is getting the hell out of this damn town and going to a place called Rhydin.

After his bags are together he gives his Mom and Granny hugs and receives pinches and squeezes galore. "Aww, Ma, Gran.. Come on now, I'll be back to visit." He kept telling them. "No Ma, I won't be any trouble. Yes, Ma, I'll stay away from the girls. No Ma, I won't eat junk. Yes Ma, I'll not get arrested again." Boy they just kept on! And with a wave to his Dad, Ollie is out the door, bags on his shoulder and walking on to the car that the fraternity had sent for him.

Long drive later..
The car pulls into the compound and Ollie is more then amazed at everything around here. How huge the house is, everything. And as the car pulls up to the front of the gigantic house he sees his cousin Dirk and can't help but laugh. He steps out of the car and gets a big hug from his cousin.

"Man, I've grown? Look at you!" He laughs and pats his back.

Dirk laughs and helps Ollie with his bags into the house. "Yeah, things have changed a lot. I'm a whole two inches taller!" with a laugh and he tousels Ollie's hair once they are inside the house. They drop off Ollie's bags in Dirk's old room. "I hope you like it. I just left the stuff in here when I moved out the first time to the guest house." with a nod.

He led Ollie on a tour, showed him the secret book room and got him set up on that. Laughing and cutting up the entire time. They talked about old times and the stuff they used to get into.

"Speaking of which..." Dirk laughs as he straddles a stool. "Two burgers, Cook. Thanks!" and he rests his eyes on Ollie. "How is that Darla doing anyway?" with a soft chuckle.

He walks with Dirk to the back of the car and they pull out his three pretty small sized bags, he didn't need much after all. Besides, Jaden told him not to worry, the fraternity gets you whatever you may need and Ollie is thankful for that. Pulling out one of the hefty bags, he puts it over his shoulder and grabs a second, then walks with Dirk into the house. Steel blues give the living room a once over and the other rooms as he did pass by them.

Going on inside the house he follows Dirk on down the hall to where Dirk's old room is, and now his new room, as the door opens he tosses his bags just inside the door and takes a peek. "Looks great. Not too much, not too little, just righ'." With Olllie his accent is still there though not half as prominent as it had been when he was a kid. But he wouldn't want it to go away completely anyway, it shows where he is from and he is proud of the family he hails from, even if they drive him crazy.

After the small tour of the house, and the secret room. He climbs up on the barstool next to his cousin and can't help but laugh softly. "My, things sure do change pretty quick. As for Darla, well..." He takes a moment to ponder that carefully. "Darla, she is getting married sometime next year. A doctor." He nods. "You remember that little bastard, Dave? Seems they "love" each other and it's going to last forever." He even raises his hands to do the quotations. "But enough about that, water under the bridge now, really. What's going on with you, cousin?"

Hazel eyes roam the kitchen as they wait for their order. Cook, as always, dressed in his impeccable white chef's uniform including the tall 101 pleat hat. Those hazels land on his cousin as he speaks of Darla. "Man, I'm sorry." he nods somberly. He remembered the huge crush Ollie had on the girl. Placing a comforting hand onto Ollie's shoulder. "And she deserves somebody like Dave. They'll be divorced or cheating on each other or both in six months." he gives a positve nod.

"Nothing really new with me. Just taking things day by day, you know? The twins, man they are growing so fast!" he smiles proudly. "I'll have to take you to meet them later on." The rest of the idea cut short as the burgers are placed before them. "Thanks Cook." he grins and gets one in return from the older guy.

He pours ketchup and mustard onto the burger and then sets the bottles down between he and Ollie. Bun placed on top and he brings it to his mouth. A satisfied moan as he bites into the juicy sandwich. A bit of ketchup left onto the corner of his mouth which he quickly clears with a flick of his tongue.

"Hmmm, what else is new with me?" He ponders for a moment, placing the burger back on the plate. "Well things with Gage have been really good. It's good to be back together with him." a smile and then he looks over at his cousin. Yes, he just let the cat out of the bag and he worried his lower lip just a bit at what his cousin's reaction might be.

"Don't be sorry about her and her doctor husband." He shakes his head and brings up his elbows to be on the bar top, his steel blues gazing over at the Cook then back to Dirk. "Honestly I think they could make it, Dave might be a bastard as far as I'm concerned, but he is loyal, I'll give him that." He nods. "Besides, always think of the best for people, don't be needing that karma to come bite me on the arse for it." He chuckles.

"I can't wait to see those little youngins. I just hope they look nothing like you and mostly like their Momma, for their sake." He grins and leans forward as Cook places the plate in front of him. "Thank you kindly." He nods to the older man and takes in a big whiff of the burger. "Now that's a burger." He goes ahead and grabs it up with both hands, hell the thing is a monster! A big bite taken and he nods as he chews, after swallowing he speaks. "Woo, now that's good." He sets the rest of it down and grabs up the Coke and has a sip.

"Man alive, I'll tell you what.. I just couldn' wait to get away from that damn town. And this place is incredible. I mean this house is bigger then anythin' I've ever seen." He grins again and sips the Coke, setting it down near his plate, both hands go for the burger again. He takes another good and healthy bite from it then sits back and marvels in the wonder of someone other then him had cooked this hamburger and how good it must be to have a personal chef. Though Ollie can grill a damn good burger or steak, it's always a welcomed break to have someone else cook for you.

And after that healthy bite had been swallowed down, the cat had been let out of the bag and Ollie frowns for a moment before setting the hamburger back on it's plate. "Gage?" He grabs the napkin from the bar and wipes his mouth, then he turns towards his cousin. "Well now, you and Gage huh? Who would of thought you two pansies would end up together." He grins, that grin that always gave Ollie away that he is not at all upset.

He reaches over and pats his cousin on the back. "Boy how things change." He shakes his head and the grin still there. "I take it you've gone soft huh? No more bar brawls?" A raise of a blond brow, there was nothing more that Ollie loved then to get drunk and be in the middle of a good fight.

Well if his cousin can forgive and forget, so could Dirk. He knew all too well that one person in a relationship could be loyal, but that doesn't mean the other will. And he knew Darla. He had seen the things she'd done and was more than relieved that his cousin didn't end up with that nasty trick in shoe leather. A smile with a nod. "You're right man, I'm sure they'll be happy."

He laughs and shakes his head. "They both look just like a Stevens, except Taylor's hair is getting dark like her mom's. Just you wait to see them, a miracle in of themselves. They're just... little people!" he lifts his own burger and takes a healthy bite. Washing it down with a sip of his own Coke as he watches his cousin while he talks.

"Yeah, Cook here is the best. A man of few words, but the best damn chef ever." he gives Cook an appreciative nod and is rewarded with a grin from the man in white. "Just wait until you've had his barbeque chicken. Man, it puts even my own mother's to shame." with a laugh.

Putting down his burger, "I know what you mean about getting out of Kentucky. I was glad to have gotten away when I did. And this place is incredible. I consider this my home now." another bite taken, relishing the taste of the burger in his mouth before taking another gulp of his drink.

When the cat had been let out of the bag, he had held his breath waiting for his cousins reaction. That grin told him all he had to know and he smiles broady. "Yeah, who would have thought..." he lifts his fist and gives Ollie a slight punch to his arm. "Am not a pansy!" he laughs.

"Gone soft my ass! Let me take you to the fight club that I used to go to. I'll show you soft, coz." Finishing off his burger, he gets off of the stool and pushes his plate back. "Hell, we don't have to wait for that." And with that, he pulls back and his fist hurtles towards Ollie's chin. He stops short of hitting him, then barely knicks his chin with his knuckles.

He nods to Dirk, he isn't one to hold a grudge. Someone could be an enemy at one point then a best friend the next, just how Oliver is. A trusting type of guy that lets bygones be bygones. He grins. "Exactly, they will be very happy." He grabs a fry from the plate and takes a bite from it.

A laugh from him. "Ah crap, they look like you?!" He laughs again and stuffs the rest of the fry in his mouth and watches his cousin. How proud he looks when he talks about his kids. Must be something special if it can make his cousin proud. And he has never seen his cousin's eyes light up like that when he talks about something and that makes Oliver just smile.

He looks over at Cook and nods. "Very good burger, sir. One of the best I have ever had." He smiles as Cook nods back to him as well then goes on about his cleaning and daily rituals of getting the food prepared for dinners. Oliver looks back at Dirk. "Barbecue chicken, now that's what I'm talkin' bout. And don't you let my aunt hear you say that." He laughs softly.

"Kentucky wasn' so bad, it was the people, things jus' got to be too much, I suppose. With Darla goin' and gettin' hitched, and that blasted rooster." He shakes his head. That damn rooster still bothered him even now, that thing has lived for so long that Oliver is sure that it has lived all that while to just bother the hell out of him. "But it's nice to be out of there and tryin' somethin' new."

He laughs when he is punched in the arm and rubs with his hand right after the spot. "You still hit like a girl too!" He laughs and punches his cousin back in the arm. "That's your new name, Pansy Dirk. Sounds so much like you." He laughs even more.

"Oh hells you have gone soft! Hittn' like a girl, acting all like a girl." He shakes his head but grins. "For shame." But then a fists comes at his chin and Oliver doesn't bat an eyelash just smiles and shakes his head. "A fight club you say?" He says even when Dirk's fist knicks his chin. "Well if they let you fight, then I guess they'd let anyone." He grins and grabs one last fry from his plate, and realizes he already scarfed down his burger.

Then his Coke is grabbed up as he slides off the barstool. "Man alive, look at that pool." He looks out the kitchen window to the pool, even a couple girls already out there swimming, and a few brothers. "Now that is a pool and some very nice lookin' ladies."

Pulling out his wallet, he produces a picture of his pride and joy, Taylor and Tyler. "See, just like their old man." he chuckles and lays the picture on the counter between them. "A Stevens is a Stevens man." with a proud smile on his face.

He watches as Ollie hands his plate back to Cookie. A compliment like that from Ollie meant something, he knew how much his cousin loved food. "Yeah, well you'll find out that your Aunt's cooking wasn't exactly the greatest the more you eat here. Cook here's the best." he gives a grin as he puts the picture back into his wallet.

"Yeah, I hear you on that. The wanna be mini-mafia that was old man Chester and his crew got to be too much. I was spending more time in their little holding cell than I was at home." he laughs. "And that rooster isn't dead yet? Are you sure it didn't keel over and it's ghost is just haunting you?" he laughs at that too. That put an idea in his head that he would carry out at a later time.

"I'll show you Pansy." he growls playfully as he rubs his arm, then punches back. "Man, you know it never ends well for you when the punches start being thrown." he shakes his head with a laugh. Picking up his pop, he takes a drink then sets it down.

"Man, you are so cruisin'..." he shakes his head. "I so do not act like a girl, and even if I did, I could still kick your ass from here to Kentucky and back." with a confident nod.

He looks out at the pool when Ollie does. "Yeah, it's a nice pool. But there's something about the ladies here you should know. Most are either taken or are off limits." he uses the finger quotes that everybody else does too. "Evi, even if she weren't off limits, you don't want none of that. Gage goes looney when anybody even looks at her. He don't want her, but he don't want nobody else wanting her either. The rest are pretty much taken, except Ashleigh. Gorgeous girl, but she's the nanny and Jaden's ruled her off limits. Can't blame him really, not with Julian running around. The maids and rest of the staff are off limits too. You want a girl, you're going to have to find one out in town." he grins.
