Rhy had taken advantage of the fact that Dean had gone out with the guys to prepare his Valentine?s Day gift. She worked with Cook all day to prepare the perfect meal for her sweetie. Cook was a pretty good guy, so it was fun to be in the kitchen with him. They baked and baked and baked and he taught her some cool new tricks for the kitchen. Rhy was sure she would impress Dean. A bistro style table was set up on the back patio, complete with candles and the whole nine yards. It was romantic, yet comfortable. Simple elegance. A black tablecloth covered the small table, silver candleholders and red candles adorned it, along with black stoneware dishes and silver cutlery. There were a few smaller red heart shaped candles on the table and red champagne flutes, which of course would be used for apple juice! Red rose petals were sprinkled through out the patio area and around the table.

Everything in the kitchen was finished and would be kept on low heat to stay warm and fresh. From start to finish the menu was as follows:

Appetizer: Miniature pumpkin pie tarts, sweet and spicy shrimp, and spinach and artichoke spread with garlic-buttered baguettes.

Salad: Bruschetta without the bread. A salad of tomatoes, garlic, red onion, kalamalta olives, a few hearts of palm and artichokes tossed in a balsamic vinegar and olive oil dressing, sprinkled with pine nuts and spread over a bed of fennel.

Soup: Pumpkin and squash soup served room temperature with a dab of cream and a sprinkling of Parmesan.

Main course: Grilled chicken breast smothered in goat?s cheese; spinach, sun dried tomatoes, capers, and artichokes with a light lemon sauce. Loaded mashed potatoes and Asparagus with lemon butter.

Desert: Pumpkin milk shakes, pumpkin cheesecake and an assortment of miniature pumpkin pastries.

Drinks: Sparkling apple juice

Everything would be served in small portions, like the French would do so that they would be able to sample everything without getting too full. Cook had kindly agreed to be their waiter tonight as well so that Rhy could sit with Dean and enjoy dinner.

After making sure everything was prepared for the meal, she went to leave Dean a note, which was taped to the outside of his bedroom door.

? My beloved, please meet me on the back patio at 7:00 for dinner. I?ll be waiting for you.
- Pumpkin ?

After making sure everything was in place, she went home to get ready. She?d be waiting for him outside tonight in a strapless, red silk, mini dress and red strappy stilettos. Her hair would be left down to fall in soft waves around her shoulders and face, and for the evening she put hot pink manic panic through it, so tonight, it was pink, not blue. Her makeup was mostly simple, classic, a bit of black eyeliner and mascara but red-hot crimson lips. She was hoping to look her very best for him. So there she would stand, waiting, hoping she hadn?t ruined anything he might have planned.

Dean spent most of the day in the studio, cutting a new album is tiring at best. However the prospect of Rhy after has him smiling. The antics in the studio as usual are the guys in the room, all tinkering with new sounds and whatnot.

His fingers strumming gently over the chords, of his guitar. Jam sits at the mic and belts out a few notes and lyrics of a new song he has written. Ryan tunning his own guitar. Wesley walking around and smacking various objects with his drumsticks. Burn laying down on the couch and snoring. Dean grins and gets his guitar in tune, sitting back in the leather chair and laughing when they all start to get rowdy. Dean is usually the quiet one, sits back and lets the boys be boys after all. He doesn't get into the antics much and tries his best to sneak out of the room when they start throwing food or body slamming each other. Not today, no thanks.

A chuckle escapes him when Jam air guitars. "Don't you have girls to get to?" He grins and watches them all.

Jam slides up off the chair and walks over to Dean. "You are wanting to get to your sweet cheeks eh?" Jam smirks and looks down at Dean.

"Don't even start." Dean laughs and stands up, setting his guitar down on the chair. Big stretch of his arms over his head and he yawns. "I got her this necklace, white gold, has Pumpkin spelled out in diamonds. I hope she likes it." He smiles and walks over to the door. "We done here?"

"Dude, get the hell out and go get your woman." Jam laughs and picks up Dean's guitar, grinning.

"No you didn't." Dean purses his lips.

Say a good ten minutes later and Jam screaming like a girl, Dean puts his baby, safely into her case and laughs as he walks out.

He makes his way on up the stairs towards his bedroom and the paper on the door is pulled off. He smiles as he reads it and goes into his bedroom. Inside he takes a shower, cologne on, shaved, suit, all spiffy and fierce, he heads back out. The necklace and chocolates in his hands as he does.

Through the kitchen he smiles over at Cook. "Cook, happy Valentines Day." He nods to the old man and goes through to the patio door where he's almost knocked down at the sight of Rhyannon.

"You look.." He whispers. "Amazing."

She couldn't help but giggle and blush to his words when he saw her. She felt amazing, like a million bucks.

"You don't look so bad yourself there, Handsome."

She walked over to embrace him and give him a kiss.

" Happy Valentines Day baby."

Moving to pull out his chair, she waited for him to sit and then placed a napkin over his lap. She'd let him scoot his own chair in, since she probably wouldn't be able to pull it in, considering how small she was. That smile did not leave her face as she made sure all of his needs were tended to before she called Cook to come out. Sitting down, her long slender legs crossed over one another and she popped open the bottle of sparkling apple juice and poured them each some. Her napkin was placed across her lap as Cook started to dish up their plates with the appetizers. Rhy made the softest of little noises as she ate, everything was perfect and tasted amazing, she hoped Dean was thinking the same. Dinner went by pretty fast, as they were both fairly quiet and just enjoyed the peaceful evening and the wonderful meal. The weather was cool, but Rhy kept herself nice and warm, not to mention the heat of the candles helped a bit. Somehow by the end of dinner Rhy had ended up on Dean's lap and he was feeding her desert, Cook had made himself scarce, which was a good decision on his part.

"I love you Dean. " Her hand traced gently over his face as she stared him in his gorgeous eyes.

"Thank you for everything." Her ring finger was dangled infront of his face and she giggled.

"Do you want to go upstairs and finish our Valentine's ?"
