The last few days had been a bit overwhelming. Just getting to where he was, well that is another story but let's just say it was an interesting one. But now here he was, an official member of the Pi fraternity. He proudly wore the ring that they had given him the day he was accepted.
He hadn't furnished his room yet, just a dresser and a twin sized bed were in his room. Oh yea, and a small desk with a chair. He had planned on going out and finding more suitable furniture. Having seen, briefly, some of the other brother's rooms, he had a pretty good idea as to how he wanted his room to look.
He showered and changed out of his tshirt and flannel pants that served as pajamas. Into another tshirt and a pair of jeans, sneakers on his feet, he made his way into the kitchen. "Cookie's Kitchen." As he had been told in a reverent voice. He grinned at the memory. But then his stomach rumbled and he sidles up to the little bar with it's stools. He ordered a simple breakfast of bacon, eggs and toast.
While waiting for breakfast, he looks about and spots the other newest recruit. He smiles and extends his hand. "Hey, my name is Jessie."
