'Cause we are broken.
What must we do to restore,
Our innocence,
And all the promise we adored?
Give us life again,
Cause we just wanna be whole.
Paramore - We are Broken

Jade had a strange feeling about things. She couldn't put her finger on the exact reason why a wave of depression hit her, but she knew she couldn't stay in the Villa. She had to leave. Ryo said she could stay with him.

So she led him from the Inn to the marketplace to her Villa. Gabe wasn't there and it was good... and bad. Good because he wasn't there to see her leave, to ask questions, to beg her to stay or something. And bad because the usual girlfriendy worries.

They were in and out of the Villa in a rush. She packed only a few things, a few sets of clothes, the normal needs - toothbrush Etc., and her diary. Boy would she need that. She stuffed everything into an over sized huge black studded rarely ever used beach bag like purse, not even trying to clean up after herself. The room looked like a disaster area in her wake. She swiped up a note pad from the bed side table and scrawled "I love you - Jade" on a peice of paper in hurried hand writing. She ripped it from the note pad and nuzzled it a moment. Jade kissed it lightly and folded it, setting it on the pillow of the bed. She didn't bother giving reasons for her actions, she just left.

Ryo took her to his little Japanese style house, they were silent most of the way. She was just glad she had somewhere to go.

Ryo took her up to a room. She mumbled a thank you that she really ment, but it just didn't come out that way. And he left her to get situated. Jade was thankful for the time alone, though it was nerve-racking. She dug her favorite old Guns N Roses tank top and a pair of grey flannel PJ pants out of her bag and changed, pulling her hair into a ponytail. Jade flopped onto the bed, not caring to pull down the covers just yet. She laid there, staring at the four walls around her, staring into nothingness. She rode wave after wave of bad feelings and the thoughts that came with them until she finally peeled back the covers and turned to her side. She stared off again, thinking over everything well until dawn. As soon as the sun touched the sky, she didn't have to see it to know, she was out cold... dead... lifeless. She escaped her thoughts, the bad feelings only in this dead like sleep. Jade almost looked peaceful.
