Shadow was practically bouncing off the walls. It was midnight, and she was waiting up for Ryo. "Possibly an exercise in futility, nay?" This from the cat that was following her around as she paced the house, a side effect of too much coffee.

"Perhaps so. I don't care! I wanna be there for him, good or bad. Though I doubt Fay'd do anything bad to Ryo, but still."

"Uh-huh. Okay..You people are odd."

"That we are, deal with it."

She continued pacing 'til bout dawn, when the coffee wore off. She sat then on the couch. Very bored.

She jumped from her doze. "Since last night..So." She grinned evilly. "How'd it go? What happened? Tell me the juicy details!"

She poked him and sighed. "Okay, go get coffee then, and wake up. then tell me all."

She twapped him. "Wake up then!"

She blinked. "Good point." Then started bouncing on her end of the couch.

She grinned. "I'm waiting for you to wake up. And making sure I stay awake...." After a few moments she stopped bouncing as a small cube (About six inches by six inches) of black diamond floated over to her, from seemingly nowhere. She sat still then, turning it over and over on her hands as she waited for him to wake up.

She glanced over at Ryo after inspecting the crystal. Smiling gently she stood from the couch and went and got a couple blankets from her room, returning to the couch she spread one over him and curled up where she'd been sitting. Knees to her chest and her arms wrapped around them, she still held the crystal in her left hand though. She wrapped the blanket around herself and let her chin fall to her chest.

She was tired, had been pretty much constantly for the last few days. Why not sleep? The crystal would be fine, Ryo was home and seemingly happy..Nothing was gonna come after them, her wards ensured that. So she slept, curled at Ryo's feet she dozed, then slipped into a peaceful sleep.
