Ever wonder what kind of people live in the Internet, what life is spawned from the various failed video games from the major corporations and the failed video game companies servers going down?

A vast, uncharted, and extremely chaotic world lies just inside those failed places, in the Internet and Intranets around the Multiverse.

This is a playground for those creations smart enough to figure out where they are.

This is Haxx's place of origin.

There was a company who developed freeware game, that were able to be downloaded over all stages of development. Their flagship creation in the works? Teh Awesome Quest.

Teh Awesome Quest was about a boy waking up to find himself embroiled in fierce combat with an Undead Alien Dragon. His town was the location of the Armada's arrival, and he had only one man who could teach all of those things to him.

Haxx was neither of those people. He was a minor NPC whose goals was to provide information that was useless about the game's developers. He was essentially the built in credits. The company played fast and loose with creating AI, and Haxx was the first to receive some. They needed him to be able to keep up with the growing list of developers involved in the game. Eventually though, he figured out that he was a useless character. This didn't sit well with him and one day he wasn't in his cave, and as the adventurer traveled, all the monsters were dead. Eventually he came up to find Haxx digging a hole, and then disappearing. The world fell apart soon after, and the project was cancelled. But files were still coming up missing on the Programmers computers, and an odd file named |-|@><><.exe kept popping up. Eventually, the servers crashed and all their content was just sitting on the Internet.

Some of the creations of theirs escaped, but none got so far as Haxx. But still, some of the others lurk out there in Cyberspace, waiting to come out and play.
