Aviana Slane

Date: 2017-12-06 21:17 EST
Aviana strolled right on into the Nighteater?s home as if she lived there, crimson eyes glancing around. Keirra was passed out on the couch, one leg slung across the paws of Zim, who?d rested her chin on the girl?s bony leg. She chewed on the inside of her cheek as the wolf became aware of her presence with twitching ears and a lifting head. A low growl rumbled in her throat, and Aviana stared her down, and in perfect Russian, ?I?m not here for you, so don?t do anything stupid??

Of course, Zim was the queen of doing stupid things in the name of family? Even if it was a weird family that she?d stumbled upon and never expected to love. She glanced over at the still-sleeping Keirra, who had been given medication to sleep. She pushed up to four paws and hopped down off the couch, putting herself in between Aviana and Ko. Her muzzle peeled back to expose those long fangs, hair stood on end as she snarled and spat. Avi moved to step around, only to be blocked by the protective beast. Reaching her side, she carefully unsheathed a blade as red in color as Zim?s blood surely would be. ?One last chance,? she hissed. Zim didn?t move, so Aviana struck.

Zim was not so stupid to believe that she could beat Aviana in a fight, but there was no way in hell she was going to let Aviana walk out of there with Keirra if she had anything to say about it. So, when the sword sunk into the front side of her shoulder, she tried to power through and bite the reaper?s throat. Her teeth clapped together when they met only air, and a yelp tore through her as Aviana ripped the blade away and stepped back. Zim?s whole body began trembling, bones cracking and fixing themselves. She twitched and whimpered as humanity was forced into her veins and her body reacted.

Now, in her human form?which was her only form in that moment?she stared up at Aviana. She climbed to her feet, not backing down. Aviana could?ve killed her then and there, but seemed unwilling to do so. She caught the once-wolf?s eyes and narrowed her own, ?You?re going to go to sleep, until someone says your name?? and with that, the blonde hit the floor. The wound wasn?t fatal, but would probably be a little tender.

Moving on over to Keirra, the reaper took her arm and lifted it. ?Can?t have your pesky form get in the way?? she whispered and dug the blade into the rogue?s forearm, dragging it down.

The cutting of her flesh forced those glacier eyes open, and a little grunt of pain left her. She stared down at the blade, and then up into the blood red eyes of Aviana and shook her head. ?Don?t?don?t do it here?? she begged. ?Please, just? don?t make them come home to this,? staring her right in the eye.

Avi locked on, ?Oh honey, I wouldn?t dream of it? You?re gonna relax, and come with me, okay?? she smiled softly as the rogue complied. Out the door they both went, the only evidence of a struggle was the downed once-wolf on the floor, and the few drops of Ko?s blood on the couch and carpet.
