The Plaza Ballroom is a multi function venue and is perfect for anything from a grand gala dinner, cock-tail reception or AGM. It is also perfect for less formal events such as breakfast seminars or luncheons as well as trade shows and conferences.

(Okay I get the censoring but seriously a c*cktail party should not look so dirty. And in other news, please, have at it. All comers, let's see what all the happy shiny people are wearing to the Gala!)

Clothes!

Ander ConColor (Ander Northlander) will be wearing to the gala are lightly pleated mahogany pants with an emerald strip along the outside of the left leg over knee high dark amber moccasin boots, an open front sleeveless emerald vest, from a black leather cord around his neck hangs an elongated red crystal and below that three inter locking crystal rings the top clear crystal the bottom emerald and the middle a marble of the other two plus bright blue. An ember hair ring with its center ring of emerald will keep his pulled back hair in place. Around his waist a belt of tooled mahogany leather its buckle two big leaping cats on either side of a long narrow clear crystal, and on both arms knuckles to elbow what looked like dark ember arm bands trimmed in emerald at the elbow on the ring finger of his left hand his joining band of clear multi-faceted crystal and on the same finger of his right hand a gold ring set with a raw clear crystal smaller but similar to the one in his buckle.

Veronica ConColor (Revenge is Sweet) dress really more a gown will be a vision of oriental royalty in it elegant simplify and mandarin collar, as it hugged her figure while leaving her arms bare, its iridescent gold fabric reflecting the light in a shimmer somewhere between silk and crystal a touch of playfulness in the side slit that exposed her right leg to the upper thigh, black flora brocade at the top of the collar, arm openings and both sides of the slit her feet clad in ankle boots of pale gold of the same cloth as her gown, a single ember flora brocade at the top outside of each, twin arm bands of finely carved jade graced upper arms, a choker of detailed carved near transparent ember held the faceted three inch by one inch emerald of the faceted ConColor pride its cats iris cut resting at the curve of her throat, her hair cascading down her back like gently windblown strands of black silk. And like her husband her joining ring of clear multi-faceted crystal on her left ring finger.

Because photos of Henry Cavill, who represents Jon, work a lot better for me (and take a lot less time) than creating Polyvore sets, this is sort of what Jon will look like for the Gala, fresh hair cut and all.

Amber will be wearing her white short formal gown, strapless with a full skirt and a bright pink sash at the nipped in waist. Pink satin shoes with 6 inch heels lift her to a taller strata of the atmosphere. She wears her blonde curly long hair loose with a gold clip, instead of her usual hairbow. Bright pink acessories.:grin:

Several crates were delivered to Plaza de Troyes each bore the crest of the ConColor Pride an ember oval with a strip of emerald going top to bottom , a scroll accompanied them that read

?If it is not to late Ander and Veronica ConColor owner/operators of Magical Delights would like to make another food donation to the Gala?

In the first were twenty acorn tarts (4inches high and 4across shell of nut flour pastry filled with mixed berries that are covered with a thick nearly frozen cream this is topped with a cap 2inches high and 6inches across the whole thing is then drizzled with both white and dark chocolate topped and garnished with chocolate shavings and mint leafs.) each on a crystal plate (8inches across) wrapped in near transparent silk a crystal fork(6inches long the handle ? inch wide and the fork proper an inch wide) tied to each, and cooling crystals (four sided, pyramid ended crystals, 8inches long and 2inches across) to keep them just at freezing

The second held a large amount of assorted fruit and nut tarts some plain some glazed with white and or dark chocolate and an equally large amount of honey candied fruits and berries and two round crystal serving trays (36inches across)

The third held two heavily cushioned crystal dipping bowls (18inches across and 6inches deep ) with a place for an upright heating crystal in their center, two heating crystals, (three sided, pyramid ended crystals, 8inches long and 2inches across, and instructions to place them in the holders in the bowls tap the top and add the shavings the crystal will melt the shavings and keep them the perfect temperature for dipping ) twenty-four crystal dipping forks(8inches long the handle ? inch wide and the fork proper an inch wide.) and two large bags of chocolate shavings to be melted for dipping (one pure white the other a deep mahogany brown)

On top of the fourth and last crate in fine script around an oval of ember with a strip of emerald going down the center, the words that looked more written than the carved it was,

Inside were 12 crystal bottles of said champagne (and a note stating that it was 100 yrs.) old. And twenty-four crystal champagne glasses
All the crystal whether plate?s, bowls, forks, or glasses was clear as still water and highly faceted
