The sound of her startlement echoed throughout the Plaza on a high note of ululating sopranic tones.

Before any of her officemates might attempt to rush out of their own suites to assess the damages she was already in the hall, announcing at the top of her expansive lungs:

"SOMEONE NOMINATED ME FOR MAY QUEEN!"

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!"

She spun about in a delighted little circle, "ME?! A Queen! HA!"

The little jig and the high kick that followed was deadly to any foolish enough to venture near all that high-stepping. "Oh HOLY MONKEY BUTTS! How in the world am I supposed to mount a campaign without a saddle! I've got like no time left! I mean seriously, someone should've told me about this WAY SOONER!"

She narrowed her cerulean eyes at any who dared witness the tornadic display of gleeful abandon, "WAIT!"

All the energy came to a rapid standstill.

"If I'm the Queen of May....whose the Queen of April? Surely she'll have answers! Quick find me the Queen of April!"

She hoped Rufus had answers in his Library. "Can ye just imagine?! ME!" Shrieked laugh, "ROYALTY?!"

"OH MY GOOD GOSH GOLLY GOLDFISH! I've got to tell Aymeric! HA HA! He'll have a baby cow!"

She spun back into her office leaving the Plaza eerily ringingly silent.

She'd waited all weekend.

And she'd missed the entire Beltane Celebration.

There was no way she was ever going to admit that she'd misunderstood Lady in Waiting so epically.
