The portal shimmered and the Headmaster stepped through. After he did, he informed the guards that he would be closing physical transport through the portal on the school grounds, but allowing communication. If the need was dire, then a message could be sent to him at the Headmaster's Office.
Briarius walked through the courtyard at a slow pace. It was late afternoon and it was a brisk day. His robes blew in the wind. It was very calming...which is what the Headmaster needed right now. He noted some gardeners, masons, and painters finishing up the day's work.

He made his way into the administration building. He went to his office and Melody was not at her desk. No doubt making certain things were well. He unlocked the door to his office and left it open. He sat in his chair and looked at the stack of papers and other business he had to attend to. He smiled a bit, picked up a quill, and got to work.
