Karadis was most intrigued by this Arch Magus Briarius, they seemed to know some of the same people, even though some of those people where quite old indeed. The Ancient Sarrukh sensed an Ancient soul in the being of this enimatic Briarius, if the two ever met before, Karadis could not remember. He came to the fron reception desk at the main office and saw a secretary, an elven woman by the looks of her. In hand he had three, large and very ancient tomes. They were books of magical theory, taken from the Tower of Sorcery in Istar on the world of Krynn.
Or what was left of it, Karadis had traveled to Krynn some 500 years after the First Cataclsym, and it was not an easy trip to be sure. One thing being he had to go within the waters of the Blood Sea of Istar, no mean feat, even for a Sarrukh. But in anycase he found the tomes, one book penned by the High magus of the White Robes, one by the Head magus of the Black Robes and the third was penned by the High magus of Red Robes. Each book dealing with the schools of magic each order dealt with, as well as magical theories long lost, and other esoteric matters. Each book was a prize unto itself, worth a dragon's hoard.
Karadis had the three books wrapped in a fine dark purple vellum cloth, andwalked upto the desk and spoke to the elven woman.
"I am here to see Master Briarius, please, i am Karadis of Toril, the HeadMaster was kind enough to invite me here to his Academy."
