The dragon glided easily on the breeze heading back to the School, where she landed near the door with a slight thud, nudging the door open with her snout, she slid inside, moving down the hallway, nodding to Lyndra as she spotted the woman.

Continuing down the hall, she made her way toward Sha'uri's room, gently knocking on the door with her snout. Sha'uri, could you come out please?

The door opened and Sha'uri peered out with a grin.

"How'd you know I was in there?"

She winked, knowing full well the keen ability of a dragon's nose, and stepped out into the hall with the curiosity of a cat...

"What can I do for you?"

A soft chuckle given as she heard Sha'uri, then she smiled to her friend, well, I told Lyndra, and I thought you might like to know as well Sha'uri...

Aurthur and I are expecting another clutch, so if I'm not around as much for class, well, you'd know why, though I will do my best to keep up.

Eyes widen, mouth dropped open and out came a short laugh of surprise.

"What?!"

She smiled widely.

"Haven't you two figured out what causes that dillema yet?"

Giggling, she hugged Icer.

"Congratulations again, Icer. You just didn't want me to be expecting all by myself, did you..."

She chuckled happily.

Purring softly as she was hugged, a smile was given to Sha'uri, well.., I just learned of it recently. I've just been so tired lately, and when I was checked, well, it showed up on a scan, Aurthur's already working on the lair, and taking care of me, and I'll still try to make it to class.

Oh by the way, taking out a piece of paper, she handed it over to Sha'uri, there in well, readable letters was her name, I've been practicing, and I think my writing is improving.

For some reason, hearing Icer purr seemed to just make Sha'uri smile all warm and fuzzy like. She gave her friend one more little squeeze hug before she took the paper to examine it.

"Oh, you have improved! That's really good. Oh, and don't worry about your classes. I know it can be difficult. We can work something out for you to go at your own pace. Speaking of practicing... I've been practicing, too, though not on writing with my tail yet. Though, I finally got my size down! I'll show ya...."

She was all happy and took excited little steps away, as if she were dancing the cha cha cha or something.

"See I had my concentration all wrong when changing form. I kept thinking BIG instead of Dragon first. I had to retrain my thoughts to think Dragon shape, Small perception in that order and specification. Silly me! Now I can fit in the hallway."

She turned round after moving away about ten feet. Her form began to shift into the shape of a dragon and it started to get big, but then shifted down in size so that by the time she was fully in her dragon form, she was small enough to fit through the doors like the average humanoid. She smiled a toothy smile of pride.

"You like?"

She blinked a moment, then grinned, studying Sha'uri, she'd never seen her friend in dragon form before. Yes Sha'uri, and congratulations, oh by the way, my Father might teach me a little while at the lair, he's staying around to help my mate get our home ready for the little ones, even Icewing's been helping out.

Sha'uri was a bit of an unusual dragon, appearing with opalescent scales tipped with blackened edges, like some cross between a silver and red dragon and something else.

"I didn't know your father was staying there. But that will help if he teaches you."

Her bum end sat down, tail curled round her feet as she got more comfortable.

"It's good that you have so much help. At the rate you and Arthur are going, you'll have an army of dragons in no time. Then Wyverns beware..."

She giggled.

Easing herself to the floor beside Sha'uri, she bit back a chuckle. Well.. we already have an army thanks to my sister..., she disappeared for awhile and when she returned, she was leading a flight from Ring Valley, now we have neighbors.

She nodded, and was very comfortable just plopping down right there in the hallway, never thinking twice about how odd it was to just plop down and have a conversation there.

"I remember Storm. She seems like a very capable sort to lead an army, too. That's the impression I got anyway. Have there been any more problems from the Wyverns lately?"

It was hard to say just where she'd gotten it from, but the pen was suddenly in her mouth as she tried to wrap the end of her tail round its shaft. Her tail seemed to move slow and awkward, but it was obvious she was trying to teach herself how to hold the pen with her tail.

No, we haven't had anymore problems with the wyverns lately.
Blinking, then grinning as she watched her friend a moment, before easing her tail around the pen Sha'uri had in her jaws, holding it upright, like this Sha'uri, then finding a blank piece of paper nearby, she started to write her name.

Her eyes lit up as she accepted Icer's help.

"Oh! I get it now. Like this.."

She took the pen again and, though she was still slow, she managed to curl it up the shaft to steady it and back down to the tip like a finger to control it. But the attempt to write her own name on the paper reminded her of her writing when she was a girl and learning to write with her hands..

"Oh, well.. Uh... Guess I'll have to just practice."

She chuckled, but was thankful.

"Thanks Icer."

Your welcome Sha'uri, and yes, I know how difficult it can be, looking back to the pen, it took me quite awhile to learn just how to hold it right, yet alone to start writing.

It does get easier with practice though, and I try to write in my book at the lair now and then.
