The soul of Briarius and the souls of the victims he had helped rescue appeared in the resurrection chamber in Noledor.

Kyllendria, Briarius' ghostly assistant in Noledor, appeared and helped him in the painstaking work of seperating the victims' souls from his own.

Kyllendria did all she could and was forced to summon Melody to help. Melody didn't want to leave. There were too many to save. Kyllendria sent Melody an artifact from Noledor and forced her to appear.

When the druid appeared, she obviously was not happy. She stalked over to the banshee and drew in a breath about to speak.

"Live one...", she spoke to Melody in a sarcastic tone. "...if you want to have a screaming match, we can, but I promise I will win."

The druid scowled as Kyllendria continued.

"Briarius has seemed to have saved some of Sha'uri's victims and they need bodies. If they don't get them soon, they will vanish."

Melody's eyes narrowed in anger, but got to work.

Using some of the power from the bloodstone Briarius gave her, Melody touched each saved soul and created a body from that soul's imprint. She was creating life essentially. Kyllendria would help Melody bind soul to body and then repose the body. Briarius would have to make pacts with appropriate deities when he himself was resurrected. The process was going well and he should be back in a few days. Then the work would begin to truly bring these poor victims back to life.

Briarius stepped from the resurrection chamber and headed towards the area Kyllendria and Melody prepared for the rescued victims. He took the time looking over every one and getting an idea of who they were and who he should talk to about raising them from the dead. It was a wonder that no agents of those gods had come to claim the souls that were held here.

However, his quiet musings were interrupted by a crack of thunder and the appearance of a broad chested man.

"Hail Briarius Ravensheart, Keeper of Wisdom and Death for Kadorasil. I am Lukas, Messenger of Zeu-"

"Luke, do we need to go through this every time?", Briarius interrupted the man.

"I like to. I don't get to come to Kadorasil very often on business."

"I know. What bears so much importance that a Messenger of Zeus was sent instead of a Messenger of Hades. Did Hermes get his priorities mixed up?" Briarius chuckled.

"Quite the contrary, old friend. It seems that Hades wants these souls to be sent to him post haste. However, mighty Zeus decrees that since Hecate got involved in this war, then he was granting you authority to do as you see fit with them in his name. I am to help codify that will."

"I see. Well, it'll be good to serve with you again Luke. However, I can't help but feel that 'codify that will' actually means 'fend off the minions of Hades'."

Now it was Lukas' turn to chuckle.

"I don't think even Hades can be so narrow minded as to not see that this Sha'uri is a danger to all of creation and must be stopped."

The time was filled with preparations. Briarius spoke with his counterparts in different pantheons and was granted the authority to resurrect the dead.
