Sha'uri had just dropped off a note for Knite explaining her visit to the Inn recently and a brief encounter with the young one she'd met at his library. The girl had confused her, not to mention this book she kept talking about. She was hoping to hear from him soon. As it was, she was hearing from the girl now....

The door opened and there stood Sha'uri with a smile.

"Hello there. Come on in before you catch a cold or something..."

She would lead the girl to the parlor and a warm fire.

"Would you like something warm to drink? some cookies?"

The large dragon wheeled out of the sky flying break neck speed towards the school. He had been gone for a couple weeks on family business. One of his grand daughters had her clutch hatch and he was required to be in attendance. But he had returned and got Shauri's note and had left for the school immediately.

He knew Liena for a while now. One of the first People he meet in the Inn upon arrival and he had even tried to instruct her a bit in some of her powers. After all as legend had it, long long ago the star born had actually been the ones to help bring into existence the starlight dragon race. He never found a really good book of history of either race, though he did have a few incomplete books in his library.

He landed in front of the school and after taking a few steps towards the door he had shrunk to drow form with his robes laying about him. He entered and asked the first person he had seen to point him towards Shauri. With that he was moving down the hall and towards the room.

Sha'uri had taken two steps out of the room when she noticed that Lyndra had overheard and was on her way to handle the refreshments. So back into the room she went.

"Lyndra will bring us some refreshments."

Sha'uri commented as Liena was making herself comfortable by the fire.

"I wrote Knite a note trying to explain what you told me in the Inn. Hopefully, he can..."

But she cut off her sentence as she saw something out of the window flying directly for the school.

"Uh.. is that..." pause...eye squint. "Well, speak of the devil, he's flying in now. Good timing.. we'll just wait on him then."

She watched him land and turned round to add another log to the fire, sensing Lyndra on her way back. She was crouched down stoking the fire when Knite entered the room. A quick cantrip was cast to clean up her hands and she stood up to take a double take at the way Lyndra was looking at Knite. Smile.

"Knite! I'm so glad you could make it. Liena seems to have many questions and I just don't know how to answer her. As you know, I've got a few of my own."

She gave him a hug.

"There's some refreshments there if you like."

She moved to the couch and sat down, patting the spot beside her. Then she peeked into the carafe's to see what was inside.

"Looks like orange and spice tea ... and cocoa. What would you all like?"

She set up three cups in preparation to pour what they wanted.

The drow gave warm greetings to everyone.


"Oh dear no Liena, my library is open to all my friends. Knowledge, and its search is something I always promote. I do wish I had more information but even my memory and life is just a moment in a time stream that goes on forever."

He sat quietly, politly saying no to the offer of refreshments.

"My Knowledge is always there to be shared Liena, and I never hold anything back. But you have to make sure when you search for knowledge you are ready to accept the answers, good or bad."

The drow smiled at her, he had always felt a bit of kinship with her. And for some reason it seemed quite fitting that Liena found her way to the school too. Fate worked in strange ways.

:: She took up a cookie before looking to Sha'uri and then knite...nibbling she took a sip of a drink then..then a nibble then a drink before setting them down with a look between them. She looks tot eh book a moment wondering why Sha'uri would not know what she was...and then Knites silence..it began to worry her so she bit her lip a bit::
