::Sha'uri and Lyndra had been in the infirmary for several days. Melody and Cadence did everything they could to help bring the summer quarter to and end and take care of those who stayed year round at the academy. Cadence began to use her cooking lessons in a big hurry as she tried to help the staff. She decided to let one of the other cooks handle the cooking, though the fae kept on practicing in th ekitchen. She liked to cook and it helped her to relax::

We can breath easier for a couple of weeks before the Fall/Winter classes begin.

::Melody told Cadence as they sat down to tea. One of the students came in to let them know a woman was there at the front room to deliver a message to Cadence. Excusing herself, she met the woman in the parlor and read the message sent::

Well, Margerite.. it's nice to meet you. I love yous outfit, it's so cute on you! Oh, wait here and I'll return.

::Cadence dashed to the kitchen and packed up the cookies she'd been working on, choosing the best ones to place in two boxes. She wrote a letter for Margerite to take back and handed her the two boxes when she returned::

Here, this one box is for you cause you look so sweet! and the other box and letter please give to Mary. I'll be there if at all possible.

::Cadence watched her go and then returned to talk to Melody. She thought about their losses recently... and it was strange that Mary was going through her own losses too. All were different but losses were losses anyway you looked at it. She hoped Bob would come back soon adn maybe he'd be at that meeting, too.::

Yous know what, Melody? I think we been through a lot this summer. I think we all deserve a sabbatical, too. Yous think Headmaster can handle the school all by hisself?

I wish he'd get back here soon, though. I no knows hows to tell him those two are not here. I'm sure glad yous are here, though, Misstress Melody.
