Of late there hadn't been much to draw her from her solitude on Blood Claw. She had her little vale, she had her solitude. Yet, she was reminded of things daily that kept her from being truly happy.

That was until the spirit had tracked her down. Because it was not of malicious intent, it had easily slipped through the wards on the Isle and the Vale. The message itself raised her brow further. It was an invitation. More than that it was who the invitation was from that had her intrigue further.

So here she had found herself in her finest robes of light violet decorated with crystals. A little flash without being obnoxious. She had chosen the robes because they were comfortable and functional.

It was thus that she made her way to the Academy with the invitation in the sleeve of her robe.

Upon crossing into the Academy, she would definitely feel the surging of powers. It seemed that many line of mystical, arcane, and divine energy crossed here. The feeling was here before, but not this magnified. Slight enchantments mentally persuaded her to the center courtyard where a simple, yet expansive brunch was laid out on a fine table with two chairs.

Not unused to the magic, she followed where the magic trail led. She was sensitive to the lines and shied away from her mage sight in order to not be blinded by it all. It had been years since she was last in such a gathering power... Not since Viviannah.

She allowed herself to be guided to the table and she gave the courtyard a quick glance. She looked towards the two chairs and waited for her host to appear. Afterall, it would be quite rude to be seated without him.

As if cued, The Headmaster approached from the other side.

"Mistress. I am glad you could attend. Would you care for some food and drink?"

He offered her a chair.

"Mistress. I am glad you could attend. Would you care for some food and drink?"

She settled gracefully into the offered chair. "I would, thank you." Smiling to the headmaster, "I must say this was a welcomed surprise."

The Headmaster chuckled a bit.

"Yes, well, I have been spending my summer making amends and offering thanks for the past school year."

The Headmaster sat at the opposite end of the table.

"Please have your fill."

He motioned to the array of foods in front of her.

"This past year, I called upon the people of RhyDin to help me with a problem facing the Academy. You answered this call for aid and were met with distrust and accusations. That was unacceptable. Unfortunately, this apology comes a bit late as I was very wrapped up in the event at hand. I only hope you can accept this token of thanks."

An ornate wooden box appears in his hands. He offers it to her.

Her eyes widened at the box. She carefully takes it and looks up at him. "This is indeed a surprise, Headmaster."

She carefully opened the box and looked inside.

Inside was a parchment made of gold leaf that was less fragile than it should be. Engraved on the parchment was an honorary degree from Ravensheart Academy.

She looked from the parchment to the headmaster, "It is indeed an honor."

She carefully closed the lid of the box and slid the box into one of the pockets that lined the robe. The box seemingly disappeared and he line of the robe was not disturbed at all.

She picked a few choice bit from the brunch and placed them on a plate. "The Academy is quiet, are you looking for instructors or support staff?"

She took a bite out of a succulent looking piece of fruits as she listened for his answer.

"The Academy is always looking for good people."

He picked a small piece of fruit and ate it.

"The Academy is quiet now as we are on summer recess. Normally I have a small summer program, but based on events of the past year, I decided to give everyone some well deserved rest. So, the only living soul here is me."

She looked thoughtful for a moment. "And how are the students taught the basics of shielding and such?"

She had to admit she was curious. The thought of teaching was something she had been entertaining for sometime.

"I instruct the bulk of the abjuration coursework. I have a few staff members who supplement that."

She nodded and considered for a moment. "The bulk of what magic I use is either personal energies or the ability to tap ley lines and nodes."

She was familiar with the different schools from her time in WoRLD, but that was a long time past. she chose another piece of fruit as she thought about things in her life.

"Noted. Was there anything else I could answer for you?"
