It had been over a month since Ravensheart Academy reopened it's doors to the public. Headmaster Briarius did so with no fanfare or other overt gestures of attention. Enrollment had dropped by a marked amount, but the classrooms were by no means empty.

Students were all now provided with new school emblems for their uniforms. Little did they know that the emblems were enchanted to return the student home at the first sign of trouble. Briarius couldn't keep the bad things away. He knew that, but he wanted his students safe.

The Headmaster was working on a big project that he didn't tell anyone about...not that there was anyone to tell. His colleagues and confidants on staff had not yet returned. Briarius hired temporary staff to fill those roles that were needed.

All in all, calm had returned to the Academy. Would that calm persist throughout the year?
