The announcement was sent directly from the Rhy Din Hockey League's head office and arrived on each of the owners desk.

"Attention all RHL Owners,

Thank you for your help in rescuing the league from folding. I am writing this to inform you of some league rules and to remind you all of some upcoming milestones you will need to meet as owners.

First let me list all of the teams and who owns them:

Rhy Din - Kate
Marketplace -Alain DeMuer
Stars End - Sistrum Investments
Dockside - Stephen Kidd
WestEnd - Fiora Shantalaine
New Haven - Riley and David Lo

As you all know, owning a team automatically gives you a seat on the RHL Board. As a board we will determine the league schedule, if a team folds, addition of new teams (and where they will be located), and approve trades during the season.

We do have offices in the Marketplace and each team owner has been given a small office to do business from. Please feel free to use it if you need to.

Within the next few weeks we will set up a meeting schedule so that we can discuss issues and share ideas and insight.

There has been interest in expanding the league by another 1 or 2 teams, please think about your feelings on this and where we should expand if we choose to.

You should all start advertising for your spring training and recruitment, try outs should be held by the end of July. You may run your try out's how ever you wish. A list of possible ideas will be available at the RHL Offices should you wish to see them. Please remember that all players but be at least 18 years old to play in the RHL.

Until August all players from last season are considered free agents and may sign contracts with other teams. So if there is a player from a team that you wish to sign to your team, please keep that in mind. If a player has not signed with a new team by August then they will revert back to the team they played for last Season.

I would suggest introducing yourself to all your players and watching practices of all teams, including the Little Rell's Farm team. There are a few players who will be old enough this summer to move up to the RHL.

The season starts in October, the faster you have your team together and give them time to play together and gel, the better.

The last thing I have to tell all of you is that the RHL has signed the Fair Labor Agreement, slavery of any kind will not be tolerated anywhere within the RHL.

Thank you for your time, if you have any questions please feel free to ask me,

Kate"
