The team has taken a beating on the ice with the announced termination of Jamie Campbell's contract last week and his sister, Hennessy's, addition to the medical roster, but don't count the Spacers out for the season just yet.

The standings are tight, and despite the team's current fifth-place standing, players and management are optimistic. "We have more drive than ever to succeed, and with six weeks of regular season play left to go, we can promise some excitement on the ice," promised Coach Owen Koss in a press conference after their sound Friday night 8-3 bashing of the Marketplace Monocerous.

Spacers management has upped the ante for fans through the last weeks of play, too: Spacers Club Card members will receive 4 free hot dogs and 4 sodas at all away games, with presentation of their card to concessions. And new home ice giveaways include a set of collectable player bobbleheads (first 1,000 fans).
