Annabeth glanced at her pantry, that was now quite close to literally wall to wall pint jars of apple butter (and she was trying not to think about the pressed cider in the basement although there were less of those.)

Her church, along with several others, had taken a long Sunday afternoon, between services, to cook up and can close to 80 gallons of apple butter. The plan of course was to sell them over the next few weeks to raise money for charities. She'd purchased 500 pint jars. She'd left 100 on Earth, and now most of the 400 left were sitting there staring at her.

She'd taken several to the Inn on her shift, and gave some to Johnny, Andu, and Rachael. She knew she'd give several more jars out between now and January. Even so, she was going to be eating apple butter for an entire year at this point.
