((I am cross posting this here. The original thread is found in the Beyond the Veil folder))

Lilith walked down the street with a purpose, feeling better after a quick stop back at the club to freshen up. Her experience at the cell phone store had proven that if you had enough sticks and leaves in your hair, you?d get treated like a homeless nymph. Not exactly the impression she was trying to give to whomever this Empress was. Probably better to look at least somewhat put together. Her business was on the line; she wasn?t going to chance being laughed at.

After asking around town, she had eventually been directed towards Little Elfhame, and someone called The Empress. Her face didn?t show it, but she was very nervous. Where she came from, she was a big deal ? capital B, capital D. Here, Lilith was simply a half-bred club owner who may or may not belong in a looney bin. Hopefully this Empress would be able to shed some light on what was threatening her business.

Turning the corner into the corridor of shops, she took a moment to admire how nice everything looked. So different from the half-dilapidated look of West End. Practicing her manners, she asked a few wandering people where she should go. They all seemed to hesitate, as if they had more than one location to choose from. Eventually, she found herself in front of a simple wooden door with a sign hanging above it. I?Yulna.

It wasn?t quite open yet, since it was still morning. A few smooth movements left Lilith sitting cross legged next to the doorway, waiting. Someone would come eventually. Hopefully it was before she was mistaken for a beggar and kicked out of this quaint area. Should she have brought some kind of gift, or offering? Oh, well. Too late now.
