Symbols of Wisdom.

They charmed her.

The entire interior wall of the shop was glittering in a sheen of pale and dark blues, of pastel, stroked up and down in sinuous, sensual lines to create a glassy, watery effect for the viewer.

Throughout the paint were bits of sparkle, so that when the light was just right the room seemed to move, maritime surreal.

In a few corners were glowlamps and lavalamps to cast a twilight blue over the store when the rest of the lights went down, and only her silhouette and cast shadow drew across the wall with her walk, the shedding of her jacket, as she tidied up and prepared her tools.

Upon the front door was scrawled a crude image of a gray Owl, coloured in pinks in part, and down from it a rope swing with a Moon suspended there between, held so by the careful, ghostly Owl.
