He's not the type to just sit still...never has been. In fact, when he's not getting others out of trouble, he's usually getting himself into it.

He emerges from the Portal north of Ravensheart Academy and heads to the west. Just a night-time stroll, to be sure - he's not looking for trouble, per se, but he knows that, sooner or later, it will find him - it always does, somehow, and he's been feeling a bit restless lately. This amulet he wears now makes it easier to control his demon side, but that doesn't mean he can't feel it, that it doesn't have some sort of influence on him.

He could use the workout.

He walks along, his eyes closed, letting his other senses guide him and keep him on track, enjoying the feel of the cool night air on his bare chest and the smells of the night - slightly humid, moist, musty but somehow fresh - invade his senses, taking pleasure from the contact of the night's many facets to himself.

He turns to the south down a street once he passes some houses, opening his eyes to ensure his direction is true and that he's not going to run into some poor soul as he walks down the street. As he looks around, he spies to his right a mansion of sorts, and he stops ofr a moment outside its gates.

Quite a lovely place, it looks. Dark and foreboding, but very nicely fixed up. It has the feel of age about it, but it has obviously been well cared-for. As he looks it over, though, something else draws up inside him - the demon.

Whenever he feels that, he knows that there's something...bad...about what he's looking at. Evil is drawn to evil, he knows, and that part of him, no matter how well he has it controlled, is evil, without a doubt. So it knows its own.

And this place reeks of it. Is saturated with it. And - interestingly - he finds it to be somewhat magnetic, attractive even.

It's nothing he can't resist, for the time being, but against his will, he's curious anyway, and so he stands there, just outside the gates of this handsomely built manor, trying to figure out what it is about it that has him and his demon side so enraptured...

Jamie was watching the distant street across her magnifent, decorated front yard from her place in a window on one of the higher floors of the mansion. Fountains and strangely cut bushes littered that dark landscape, giving the image of welcome, yet hinting at things best left not contemplated. If one, for example, looked at the trimmed bushes, they'd notice on closer observation that some depicted lewd sexual acts rather than being the simple idealized female and male shapes they appeared to be at first glance.

Movement caught her eyes from beyond the gates, and she immediately felt the presence of one of her various Abyssal kin. Demons, while not even remotely close to being uncommon, were unusually rare on the Prime Material. She smiled and tapped a clawed finger on the sill of her window.

As if in response to the small, minute sound, her front gates opened to beckon the stranger in.

He's been watching the place for only a few moments - without any reason, really, other than the place entices him somehow - when the gates open, apparently on their own. Almost as if they know he's there, and want him to come in.

It's wierd, but that other side of him has been wanting out again, more and more, and he's felt it...bit by bit. And wandering by this place seems to have brought it right to the surface. He can feel it in their, writhing and squirming, clawing and scratching at his control, begging for its release. He can smell the flinty, sulfurous smell of demon here, a scent he's always found both pleasurable and yet distasteful...much like his own feelings about himself and the world in general.

Briefly, a detached part of his human mind wonders if Lupinius has this sort of problem. Probably not - he's had a lot longer to learn to control it than Kaleb himself has. One of these days he'll have to ask him how he found his control...

For a long moment, he contemplates those open gates. Shall he go in, or not? After all, he's reasonably sure he can handle whatever lurks within those sinisterly beckoning walls, and what harm could be done?

He justifying himself, he knows. He shouldn't go in there, not by any means.

Unfortunately, that isn't enough to stop him as he crosses the threshold of those gates, walking towards the house beyond. As he looks around at the trimmed bushes, he finally notices that what he thought were artfully sculpted representations of men or women are actually men and women, together...performing lewd acts of sensuality that are best not displayed to the general public.

Despite himself, he feels the blood rush to his groin briefly as he looks around. This certainly will be interesting...

At the end of the walkway, the Mistress of the House emerged at the pair of large doors that served as the entrance. Her arms were crossed as she watched the man traversing her front yard. Even from this distance she could recognize his discomfort over his surroundings. But then, it would not be a proper house of eros without the decor.

Jamie leaned against the side of the doorway, her long dark purple gown slit up the skirt hugged at her tall, impressive frame. Red legs were exposed by that slit, toned in a dark shade of nylon; a temptive sight. She let a deep chuckle escape her dark painted lips as Kaleb stood fixated at one of the trimmed bushes; seemingly in confusion, on what appeared to be several people together. That one was her favorite, as its various features were almost difficult to make sense of.

A nosy quasit came to the door to investigate what she was doing and she immediately impaled it with the spiked heel of her shoe before kicking it away. Some of her lesser servants still needed to learn discipline.

The demoness' attention returned to her visitor, observing him in the yard.
