So, Ren had come here had she now? Bob knew just about everything that happened in this city of his. Through his own powers and networks of of spies feeding him constant information. Tracking her down was not a difficult task.
Although there was no actual proof she was here, Bob had been meaning to stop by the place and check it out anyway. There he was standing there in the dark of the night. His clothing blended with the shadows of the night and there was no animal close enough to him to give him away. Infact it would have been the silence if anything that would give him up would be the lack of ambient noises around him.
"Why did you come to this place Ren, if indeed you are here what has gotten you in such a fear driven path? All I wanted you to do, was to just die. Was that not so hard of a request to give into, even for me? Look at what your life has become, endless drama and useless family members who only exist to feed off of your weak state of mind." He said to himself, and would be talking to her if she would have been listening, but she never listened. Starting now would be no execption.
To the front door he marched, the wards of this place were special indeed he had heard of them from others. Perhaps he wanted to challenge the Goddess to a test of strength, if the wards were indeed divine in nature. And he did just that. One hand reached out for the doorway and his evil nature was sensed by what ever force protected the building.
Tendrils of electric sparking power of an unknown origin instantly leapt from where he almost made contact. The night was lit up like a war zone and that energy was not going to let him inside the precious buiding. The wards did sting a little bit and Bob winced underneath those sunglasses of his, so nobody saw it.
It was more than enough to discover just where the Goddess stood, if she indeed, existed at all. So he took one step back as he withdrew his hand. Silence ruled the night once more. "Alright, so they are powerful enough to be considered worthy, not bad, Goddess. If you ever want to have a drink sometime, look me up. It's on me this time. Perhaps we can make a deal of somekind." Bob turned as he said those words and walked away into the darkness once more, confident that the Goddess would not look him up, but at least then he would know exactly where she stood in the scheme of things.
Then he was gone, if Ren was not here, perhaps he could catch her at home.
