It had been and interesting walk back to the Sanctuary, the energetic Taneth was the one he was trying to keep pace with while making sure the trailing Isuelt and her fox friend were not out of sight. Of course, this challenge was easily enough overcome with some well applied mage-sight. As amusing as it was, the walk was also uneventful, a welcome change to the normal hustle and bustle of the city.

Once the group had reached the gates however, he turned leadership over to the lady DeRomiano, letting her guide him to the kitchen and send the fruit and flower bearing Taneth off on her own quest. He immediately set to work, still in those loose fitting sailor's breeches and vest that put his pale shell on display. A grin to Issy and then he focused on the task at hand, cooking.

He was a blur in the kitchen, supplies procured from here and there, seemingly pulled out of thin air at times. Of course, the pair of pouches at his hips that he kept pulling items out of might hint at magic once he started pulling full heads of lettuce out of them. Knives went chopping at the fresh lettuce and tomatoes, along with an assortment of other vegetables. All of these were tossed into a large bowl and set aside, he wasn't sure how the Sisters and their guests liked their salads so he left it plain for now. Potatoes were produced, small red specimens, set to boil for a bit in a large pot, parsley added to the water. The whole affair was suspended about a foot above his head, green flames heating the floating container from below.

More conventionally cooked were the green beans and corn off the cob, set to boil for a bit to soften fractionally. And then the first part of the main course was begun, he slipped a medium sized pot out of his left hip pouch and poured some water into it, setting it to start to boil he sliced several red and yellow bell peppers into thin strips and tossed them into the water. As that boiled he began mixing some spices out of a pair of bags pulled from his belt pouches. After adding them to the boiling peppers he turned to see if anyone was watching.

Even if they were by this point it really wouldn't matter, he snapped the fingers on his left hand and suddenly a trio of platters appeared, all of them containing slowly cooking meat. Immediately the scent of lamb filled the kitchen, the meat was currently nearly pure rare and he set several slabs of the main course aside per instructions. He then set the rest to floating near the pot of potatoes, a dull glow surrounding them as they cooked slowly on all sides.

He nodded, leaning against a counter to watch his various pots and spells. He verbally announced his presence to the Sanctuary then, grinning sheepishly. "I know I should have said this before, but I'm here! And dinner's in twenty minutes!"
