Juri looked up at the building infront of him, everything seemed far more modern than he was accustomed to, but he was surely a man who could adapt. His previous encounter with the female Ixa and the creature known as Kuro had led him here, but he could tell that security was certainly an issue. He shrugged and wondered over towards the front door, then moved to the side of it and leaned against the wall. He pulled a cig from out his coat and snapped his fingers, igniting the flint on the tips of his gloved fingers enough to create a small spark.

He knew after the last encounter with these two, that something far more interesting was at hand here, and after already being involved in a small way, he officially made it his duty to see this all the way through. So standing out in the cold, he ran through the the events of last night. Apparently Kuro has demons haunting his mind, oddly similar to Juri's own problem, in that all of the people he killed with his life-stealing dagger, there memories haunt him everyday, and remind him of the evil he has done. Unfortunately for Kuro, he deals with an even more hellish nightmare inside his mind, and certainly does not deserve this fate the way Juri does.

With his eyes closed, deep in thought, he wondered exactly how he could use his few abilities to help Kuro stop this manifestation of evil in his mind permanently, and hope that whatever works on Kuro, will also work on himself...

If it were not for the adminstrations of Juri, or the loving touch of Mimi, Kuro would be driven mad by this experience. Ten years..Ten long years in a Dimension so far removed from the Natural world. A living Dimension, a vastness filled with many, many vast and complex Super Hives. These Super Hives home to countless Insect spirits, cruel, cold and alien beings with vaguely Humanoid forms. Buzzing, humming, moving, always moving, building, tearing down day and night, in a Sunless Universe. A madding twisting maze of tunnels and chambers, Kuro running and hiding from these things.

The horrors he saw, chambers where Insect spirits took the spirit forms of people, Humans, Elves, Dwarves, etc. and impregnented these poor souls with the incubated and larvae form of Insect spirits. Then the victims cocooned, only to wake up tearing out of these cocoons, new Insect spirits. Just as cold and hidious as their progenitiors. There was also the horror of Kuro having to eat the remains of Humans and MetaHumans left over from Insects meals. Strangly enough Kuro did have to eat here and for liquid, he substisted on Honey, purer then anything on the Mortal plane made by normal Bees. Kuro had to resort to Cannibalism, it made him sick over and over. But he had to survive, he had to hope that he would escape. When he did sleep, which was rare, Kuro would dream of Mimi, the woman he Loved, back home on Rhydin. Its all he had to keep his Sanity, his Reason, his Soul.

Kuro had the misfortune of finding himself in the chambers of Queens a few times, on accident. Bloated, coldly intelligent Insect Queens, mainly Ants and Bees, some attended by traitorous Insect Shamans. Mortals that served the Insect spirits. Some themselves now Insect flesh forms, or Hybrid of Humanoid and Insect. The whispers in his head promising a better life as one of them. A loss of Freedom and Soul and invidiual thought. If it wasn't for the fact that Kuro's Halberd wasn't slightly magically enchanted or that his Cyber wrist spurs were a part of him, Kuro would have been defensless. He had some big victories and small victories, whether by Luck or Fate, Kuro in those Ten Years of Hell, killed two Insect Queens, one Bee, one Ant. Big victories to him, but in the vastness of these interconnected Super Hives it was a small victory. The Hives continued on, he was made even more a target to Kill, not convert.

And just as Kuro was finally cornered, tired, near death, maddened, nearly beaten. Facing certain death at the hands of three very big and strong Beetle spirits, Fate grabbed Kuro, the Nexus pulled out the Drake. For he was changed, the highly magical nature of the Metaplane he was on, changed Kuro, it altered his form. He also gained the ability to see into the Astral Plane, the Spiritual realm of the Mortal world. Of course when he returned, Kuro returned Insane and with Memory loss. Had it not been for Mimi, Kuro's new Lover and Juri, Kuro's new slient friend, a Mute assassin, Kuro would be completly lost.

While Ixora didn't have a residence at the garage, she often ventured into the office of the BlackJade Auto Repair shop as though she owned the place. Even if the doors were locked, she managed to find her way inside no matter what time it was as well. Lockpicking skills had proved useful over the course of her time.

She was curled up into the chairs that she had claimed as her own. All of the recliners were patched up, something that didn't really matter to her because she found them comfortable. A bottle of spiced rum was raised to her lips for a sip. Her gaze flickered to the door, she didn't catch sight of who lurked outside the window though she saw a dark shadow of movement.

Ixora pulled her feet from where they were curled over the arm of the chair and planted them on the floor. The pistol at her side was reached for and she moved for the door. Her hand reached for the knob and she pulled it open. Her gaze flickered as she gripped at the weapon fixed to her hip before her gaze finally landed on the one who leaned up against the wall of the building. "Hey, Juri." She greeted the man as soon as she was able to recognize his features. "Are you lookin' for Kuro?" Her head shifted behind her, she didn't even know if the man in question was home or not. "I can go look for him if you want or you can come in and wait until he gets back. Not sure where he's at." She raised the bottle in her hand for a sip and she let her other hand slack against her side.

Juri pulled himself from the wall with such grace it was as if he was a puppet being pulled by strings. Not often does he move with such swagger, but he had already finished a bottle of wine himself, and the cig that he threw out into the night...was a little more than a cig. He moved towards her and finally acknowledged her request to join her inside with a nod, then he offered a traditional greeting in sign before reaching down and 'borrowing' her bottle. He took a long drink, and was slightly disappointing after comparing it to the wine he had at his house, but oh well.

He handed her the bottle back and moved past her into the shop, Finally he had gotten in and now he had a permanent key, as he walked over to the largest set of tools he could find and dropped a copy of one of his daggers into the pile...yup...key to the building. With that done, he turned back around and crossed his arms over his chest casually, then smirked as he looked her over quizzically, essentially asking her what SHE was doing here.

Kuro came down the stairs from the Apartment upstairs and heard the voice of Ixxy, followed that to the office and found not only her but Juri and well. He greeted Ixxy...

"I must really work on making my locks better, you are too goood for yer own good girl." He smirked as he signed a hello to Juri.."Hello Juri, I see you got in as well, as I said I have to improve the locks on this place. Or did you use those fancy daggers of your to get in?"

He settled down in one of the other recliners, rubbing his head some, Kuro looked like he had a hard night's sleep..

"Damn nightmares again, ever since I got back, least I am not having those mental breaks for now. You here to help me Juri? as my personal therapist, hope you don't charge too much an hour." He said verbally for Ixxy's benefit. "Before we start or if you are just here for a social call, care for something to drink or eat, Juri? Seeing as Ixxy has helped herself already." Grins at Ixxy, then back to Juri."If there is nothing in the fridge down here in the breakroom, I'll show you where the kitchen is upstairs."

Juri's attention was diverted towards the stairs as Kuro made his way down, it was a regular party at this point. He went through the signs that was being sent his way and smirked, shaking his head about getting in because of the dagger, then pointed at Ixa and blamed her for the intrusion. Juri then flashed a few signs explaining that NEXT time he came in, it would probably be for that reason.

Arms crossed over his chest and he shot a worried look to Ixa in regards to Kuro. He slowly moved towards the man and began pulling a piece of paper out of his pocket...pre-written, and handed the note to Kuro explaining the following, "I was not skilled enough to actually remove the demons from your head, but I could hide your 'astral form' from seeing the creatures while you are awake, however when you sleep, There is little that can be prevented. Additionally, I cant 'cure' your problem with the telepathy I am familiar with, and if i knew a cure, I probably could not perform it. However we can use an exorcise that has enabled me to at least control my problem, which is similar. Every time my life-stealing dagger takes a soul and I absorb those memories and skills from that person, a piece of that person's soul is attached to mine."

Juri let him take this all in before motioning with his fingers to flip the paper over and finish reading on the other side, which was his proposed plan, "I believe you can gain control over the thoughts by actually..." The words on the paper skipped a few lines before he actually wrote them down, since it was truly the only thing he could come up with, since technology could not solve this problem, magic seemed the only logical choice, and Juri was not the best at it, since he was never originally able to do magic, only stole the talents from other people... the message continued, "Going back in your head.... With a small team, we can go in and make an attempt to slay the Queen Insects and allow your body to control these thoughts, instead of the thoughts themselves."

He knew that this 'theory' wasnt truly a solution. But if Kuro faced the fears, with friends at his side, then he WOULD begin to take control of his demonic thoughts the way Juri can control his own haunting memories. And truth be told. If they visit the part of his mind often enough to slay all the insects over time, perhaps there is actually gain in it for Kuro.

She was getting ready to turn and head towards the chair she had removed herself from. She peered at Juri as he stole her rum before her and then returned it to her. She didn't necessarily seemed phased by the action though. She watched the man as he moved into the office and wandered inside. She plopped herself down in one of the recliners and motioned for him to take up on of the raggedy ones set nearby her. Legs hooked over the arms as she made herself at home.

Iced optics scanned over Kuro as he entered the room, "Didn't know you were home and I was bore so I cam lookin' for company. And where better then your humble abode?" She wasn't really able to keep a straight face as she spoke, her lips pulled up into a smirk. That could serve as somewhat of a response to Juri's silent question. Her gaze diverted over the room. "You need to get someone to decorate the place for you," she mused absently to herself though her words seemed to be directed at Kuro.

Her attention wavered back to Juri, transfixed upon him and she absorbed his expressions. She offered him a wan smile on the more serious note. She might have spoken more in regards to Kuro if he weren't standing right there. "His woman, Mimi, is takin' care o' him. I'm sure he's doin' better with her to tend to him." It wasn't hard for her to deduce that Juri was worried and she was rather perceptive when she felt like it.

Knowing full well the paper he wrote was long, he made his way over to the chair that Ixa was sitting in. They exchanged various looks and moved to the side of it, standing beside her and resting a calming hand on her shoulder. He had no clue what his answer would be, but he knew Kuro's reaction was not going to be one of happiness. The situation truly called for the standard of 'facing your own fear' which was never the easiest solution to ANY problem.

That hand squeezed lightly for an instance, before he patted her should once and let his hand fall to his side. He then knelt down on one knee and slipped off his glove over his left hand, produced his paper and pencil, and jotted down a quick message, "I'm sure she is doing a great job, but it might take some help from a few more people if he agrees with my idea." Juri smiled reassuringly, knowing full well that there was plenty of good friends to help that were up for some bug squashing. Wondering how far along Kuro was with the note, he paused then and looked back at the man and titled his head as he questioned how Kuro was going to respond to all that.

"Should I leave for this?" She asked Juri, quirking a brow. "Or would it not be a good idea for me to be around?" She wasn't entirely sure about what all was going to happen. If the two needed their privacy on the matter of ridding Kuro of his demons then she was more than willing to oblige. She remained in her chair for a while and raised the rum to her lips for a sip. It was her proffered drink because she was used to the taste from the seas since it was what they used to give the poor excuse for water a bit of flavor.

She glanced back at Kuro, she knew that none of this was easy for the man. She was also sure that it didn't help matters that she kept breaking into the office the way she did when it wasn't her home or even the place she worked at. It didn't help matters that she acted like she owned the place at times. She wondered if he were frustrated over the matter or if it was the farthest thing from his mind.

He nodded as he looked at the piece of paper Juri wrote on, yawned a bit and turned to Ixxy..

"First Ixxy, I am gonna get you a key for the garage so you stop breaking into my place ok? Its getting a little old, and I don't want you giving me lip about it."

Then back to Juri.."You're right friend, I should face this head on, but I think that you, Me and Zeo maybe should do this mind thing. Ixxy and Kendall I doubt would be able to handle." Turns to Ixxy again. "Sorry Ixxy but you don't seem to know a lot about this stuff and you seem to have a hard time beliviing me that I went to the Hive Dimension. And Kendall has had enough shit happen in her Life, she don't need to see what I been through those past ten years. "He paused."So Juri when do we start this little exercise in my Head, the sooner the better. I can't take these nightmares anymore."

The first thing he heard was Ixa's question on whether she should leave or not. At this point there was nothing the two of them could do alone at this point, so he shook his head no, implying that she can stay for now. Then tried to comfort with a casual grin as Kuro had finished reading the note. Juri was certainly glad that he had agreed to the idea and even had an idea on someone who could help with the situation. Hands then came up as he began to flash his sign quickly to Kuro, "For your benefit, I believe we can begin immediately after you ask your friend 'Zeo' to help. If the man is willing to help you as I am, I'm sure the three of us will get along well enough to prod your mind and kill some bugs." Juri actually had no doubt that he would get along with the man Zeo. His only concern and fear was that no sooner than he shook the mans hand, he was going to essentially 'ask' him to trust Juri enough to put himself into a life-threatening situation, and the most dangerous part of this attempt at saving Kuro's mind was that no real technology could save the three from disaster, unless they had a fourth telepath on the outside.

Juri's smile was genuine as he looked over Kuro and tried his best to offer him utmost confidence.....however, this was not going to be the safest or easiest of travels. Juri was still an amateur at using the talents he stole from others, not to mention if Kuro loses control and causes a breakdown in his mind... then all three of their souls would be trapped in the Nexus forever. It is rare for Juri to engage in a situation with so much risk to everyone, but he was a changed man and no longer could only think about himself. He had already made the decision that he would sacrifice what was needed in case things went wrong... and the dangerous thing is that something always go wrong when you put your faith in nothing more than a gamble...

She took the key from Kuro, moving it to store it inside the confines of her vest. She had a small pocket in the lining for such things as that, her Credstick and business cards that she had collected. She was a little annoyed with Kuro's suggesting that she couldn't handle it all. Not that she wanted to. It was more or less that he insinuated her as being weak. Her hand toyed with the bottle of rum as she watched the two.

"Where is Zeo?" She inquired, a slender brow piqued and she mulled something over. "You can get a hold o' him with you commacommalink thing, right?" She had entirely butchered the word, unable to recollect the exact term for it. Even if the part about Zeo had been discussed through sign language on both their parts, she had assumed that the pilot was due to assist in the entire matter since Kuro had offered reasons for why both her and Kendall shouldn't participate. She was ready to leave if and when Zeollas arrived and she needed to get out of there. Until then, she was laying across her recliner.

He considered this carefully it was a dangerous move, going into a mind so wracked with Nightmares of a Hellish experience that lasted Ten Years to him. Kuro turned to both and sighed...

"I can call up Zeo on my Cyber Commlink, and set something up, he is a busy man with his op and the Hanger shop he runs. When I can I will talk to him."

Kuro got a beer and sat in a recliner as well, a lot of things were happening at once. It was hard for him not to lose his mind, the only real thing keeping him sane and focused was Mimi's love. As well as the friendship and support of his Friends. If not for these people, Kuro would be a raving beast tearing apart all those arround him.

Juri shook his head at Ixa. He needed her to be here as well, and her job was equally as important as everyone elses. "Ixa... We need you here to watch over our bodies when we pass into Kuro's mind, in fact having Kendrell around to help you would be even better." He turned back to Kuro then and nodded quickly, things needed to be done as fast as possible since the current situation had changed dramatically. He knew a secret that he could not tell the both of them. The worry would disrupt Kuro too much for him to have full concentration in the Nexus world. But the danger wasn't just on the three that were going into Kuro's mind, because an almost equal or possibly greater threat could endanger Ixa and anyone that was with her when Juri's body... When all three of them... were unconscious.

"Ken in the Garage?" She asked Kuro before she nodded and folded her arms across her chest. "I can tell her to be here, jus' need to know when you all want to do this." She toyed the thought over, "O' course, she does work here... All you need to do is let me and Zeo know when you all want to do this. Or if Ken's already here then you jus' need to contact Zeo and have him show up. Unless he has work then he might not even be busy." Her words were neither directed at Kuro nor Juri specifically, but at both of them. If Kendall wasn't even there then she could always make a point to get home while she was still awake. It was rare that Ixxy got home before her roommate went to bed.

Kuro directed his attention to Ixxy...

"I am sure Kendall is arround somewhere if not here tinkering away on something, she is probably on a run for stolen parts, cars or guns. Gives her good training it does. And as soon as we track Zeo and Kendall down we can do this Mind trip. The sooner the better, as I said these damn nightmares are getting to me and I need my head clear for the big Op."

Then back over to Juri..

"Not a bad idea, Ixxy and Kendall can keep watch over me, you and Zeo, no tellin how long this thing is going to take. Hours, all day, who knows, I should let Mimi now whats going on, she has the right to know. I am doing this just not for myself, or the team but for her. Cuz for the first time in a long time I got someone I love and I am not gonna lose Mimi. I'll do what I have to for her."

Juri's mind began to wander sporadically as the two of them talked about getting Kendall and Zeo there, and with most people, as they contemplate their unknown future actions, he began to have doubts. Juri knew he would be able to get the three into Kuro's head, but how long could he sustain them in the Nexus world while they mind-traveled..?? He had expected this attempt to actually be the first, with a guaranteed second, and possibly even a third trip, but that wasn't what had him worried the most....

Juri knew that 'he' was on his way. He was called in by guild, Bregan d'Aerth, to assassinate someone of extreme importance, and this was of the highest level, otherwise, they would not have asked someone who 'claimed' to be retired to come travel such a long distance and eliminate someone who was actually the head of the guild. He did not need to know who wanted the Leader dead, but he assumed that it was everyone in the Drow world that was not personally attached to Jarlaxle in some way, not too mention the most arrogant of all the Drow had certainly made his fair share of enemies along the way, but he began to digress from the true nature of his worry.

Juri knew the messenger the left him the note was still in Rhydin, and it had already been well over a day and Juri has not even attempted to make his move to leave yet, that in and of itself was already against the code of conduct established by assassins long before his time. The messengers job was simple... Inform the assassin, Escort him to the Guild for further detail, and the mission assignment was to be givin in full. However, in the case that one declined the request, it was the messengers job to turn assassin and eliminate the defying guild member, in this case Juri.

He let the two of them talk back and forth as he slowly moved towards one of the windows and peered outside. He was looking at nothing in particular, but was too lost in thought to care. Even as Kuro's words came to pass, they fell on deaf ears as the mute could not hear Kuro over his own thoughts. He prayed someone else would come and stay with Kendall and Ixa, cause Juri knew that in the middle of the process of healing his newest friend.... The two females, one of which he was growing more than fond of, would not be alone. He turned and offered a reassuring smile to her, trying to pass off the fact he just completely ignored Kuro, but the smile wasn't really for her. In his eyes he was trying to reassure himself, that when he awoke from Kuro's mind....If he awoke at all.... That not everyone else in the room would be dead...

Kendall?s return to the garage was heralded by a clatter of metal being dropped on the garage floor, a string of fluent swearing in a pronounced street accent, and the sharp bang of a door slamming. She stomped into the office, didn?t even pause when she saw the gathering there. Straight for the coffee, doctored with lots of cream and sugar. Half the mug was drained in one long swallow. She topped it back up, added more cream and sugar.

Light grey eyes flicked around when she turned, back to the desk with the coffeepot, really looked around the room. ?Someone strike gold?r somethin? here? Yer all lookin' too damn happy.? Too-skinny fingers curled around her mug, held it near her chest. Cynical smile was in full force as she waited for someone to explain.

She offered a nod for Kuro as he spoke, her gaze remained on Juri though as she watched him from behind her bottle of rum. It was when Kendall entered that the source of her attention changed. Pale blue optics transfixed upon the woman.

"Hey, Kenny." She greeted her sister and offered a slight wave from where she was sprawled out in the recliner. Those iced azures slid back to the troll. "They got somethin' they wanted to talk about to you." She jerked one thumb off towards Kuro and then pointed at Juri with an index finger. "Kuro can explain and then call Zeo to set this all up. Maybe see if he can make it tonight even since everyone's already here?" She she shrugged and imagined the Chief was too preoccupied with his thoughts on the whole matter to really get angry with her for having inadvertently taking charge in some way.

Kuro nodded to Kendall and to Ixxy, then spoke to Kendall..

"Yeah kiddo, I need to ask you a big favor, I know I ask so much of you but this is important. Juri here, Myself and if I can get a hold of Zeo, are going to try something very dangerous. We are gonna attempt to free my Mind from the Demons in my Head." He paused..

"These Nightmares of that Hive dimension are getting to me bad, I see shapes in the corner of my Vision when I am alone. And I feel myself going mad inch by inch, as well as a desire to go back to that Hive Dimension to join the Bug Spirits. I hope and pray that Juri can pull this off, this Mind journey or if you like a form of Vision Quest. So he is going to try and link my mind with him and Zeo's to battle the Monsters inside me. Its very dangerous, one wrong move and the three of us can end up dead. We need you and Ixxy to keep watch over us incase something goes bad. To wake us up Kendall, this process could take hours, so we need an extra watcher. And the positive energy from you and Ixxy could help without you having to join in the Mind journey."

Rubbing his chin.. "I know its a lot to ask, its a huge thing to ask of you Kendall, so its your choice kiddo."

Swallow of coffee while Kendall listened to Ixora and then Kuro. Light grey eyes darted from Ixa to Juri to Kuro, left heel set up a rapid jitter against a leg of the desk.

"So - what, you-all just need Icky an' me t' keep watch an' wake you up when it's time? Don't sound any kinda trouble except maybe t' stayin' awake if it takes too long. How're we supposed t' know when it's time t' wake you up?"

The others in the room seemed far too tense. More going on than she understood - more danger than seemed likely from watching a trio of sleepers snoring. Her fingers started tapping on the mug, joining the patter of sound from her heel. Finally she jerked her chin up. Agreement. She'd watch - and keep her gun handy, just in case.

Rubbing his chin..then spoke to Kendall..

"Well kiddo we will wake up on our own if all goes well, but if something starts to go wrong say our bodies start to convulse say, then yeah wake us the Hell up as something bad is going down. As for staying up too long in regards to you and Ixxy, sleep in shifts, best way I know how you and Ixxy can do that. So are you up for this Kendall?"

Awaiting her awnser on the matter, a very dangerous and life-threatening matter indeed. If anything went wrong, Kuro, Juri and Zeo if he joined could pay dearly. At least on the Real world side of things, their bodies would be fine, but it was a whole nother matter in the Astral Plane. If one dies there, the body dies in the Real world.
