So. Just to put this out there ... I have had a remarkable stroke of good luck, tempered by a little bit of not-so-good.
I've managed to snag a dedicated route between Alabama and Kentucky, and will therefore be home much more often, which is good because I've missed all of you.
On the not-so-good ... we lost a family member last week. Fuzz, our black cat, finally crossed over the rainbow bridge, after an amazing 20 years of terrorizing the earth he walked upon. He was ornery, stubborn, as demanding as only a cat could be ... and I'm going to miss him. But he's gone to hunt in the next life with his 'brother' Earl, whom we lost around Thanksgiving last year.
It'll probably be a bit before I manage to ease my way back into things, so I hope everyone can be patient with me.
