Thank goodness for these past few days being cloudy. Otherwise she might not have been outside. Hell, it took her a great while to work up the mental courage to venture outside. But there she was walking down the street. She'd gotten the address from Andu and had finally pinpointed it on a map. Just to be sure she wouldn't burst into flames she was using an umbrella to protect her from the sun's rays.

Baby blues roamed over the door. Taking the last drag from her cigarette she dropped it to the ground and smothered the coal with her foot. A sigh escaped her lips before she reached to open the door. Moving inside the shop when the door closed behind her she put away the umbrella. Bad luck having it open inside and all. For a moment she chewed on her bottom lip before calling out, "Hello? Is there anyone here? It's me Cinnamon or CC. I'm here about some clothes?"

In the meantime she would wander farther in the shop as she admired the various clothing and the fabrics on display.

As soon as the heels clacking reached her ears those pretty blues moved in that direction. She almost gasped at the sight of Mai. The woman was sure gorgeous that was no lie, "You were? Well I'm glad I could finally make it."

That smile of hers was bright and sugary, "Cinnamon Carter but most call me CC, ma'am." Tipping an imaginary cowboy hat just for kicks. Then when Mai mentioned the umbrella what color she had rushed to her face, "Oh well I didn't realize. Seems there's a lot left I have to learn."

Then to the offer about the drink she nodded, "Yes that would be lovely, hun I sure do appreciate it."

A shy smile then as she visibly relaxed. Listening to her words she took the offered seat. Crossing one leg over the other as she leaned back getting comfortable on the couch. Taking the offered glass she thanked Mai with a smile and took a sip. After a moment she finally spoke up, "I sure would appreciate that ma'am. I guess I want to know everything you know? What is fact and what is myth? The Dos and Don'ts so to speak? You have been nothing but kind to me. I do want to re-pay the favor. Do you need help around the shop or anything?"

She was fully willing to offer what services she could in order to re-pay the kindness the redhaired vampiress had shown to her.

She gave a grateful smile to Mai even if she did duck her head a bit shyly, "I really do appreciate ya. Like I said if you need me to help with anything I can. I mean I don't have many skills but I'm a quick learner and a hard worker."

Pausing as she would finish her drink and look a bit curiously to Mai's attitude about her sire ditching her. To that she shrugged, "Well I guess to him I wasn't worth sticking around for. And the first night I found myself at the Inn I was covered in blood but it wasn't mine."

She may have blacked out and took a life. She would never know and the thought did kinda scare her. At the proposal of a tour she brightened up smiling, "Yes I would like that very much! And my namesake fits me. Cinnamon that is."

Perking up at the thought of having a room and a bathroom that wasn't the Inn where she could relax.

She gave a thousand watt smile to Mai, "Well again I can't thank ya enough for the kindness you have shown to me."

A pause then before she asked, "What is the scent of death exactly? I haven't noticed it. Is it something humans pick up on?"

Then to the news about her sire that had her blinking and looking at Mai a bit widely, "Are you sure about that? I mean...I just felt like he ditched me or somethin'."

Giving a slight shrug then. She really didn't know anything. She knew there wasn't a Vampires for Dummies so Mai was as close as she could get. And the Vampire House at B.C. of course. At the thought of being introduced to someone new she smiled brightly again, "I sure would love to meet him! I hope he's as nice as you and Les!"

She smiled back. Then leaning forward she sniffed Mai's wrist. And that was when she smelled it, "Oh my." Was all she could say. Now she understood.

Those pretty blues blinked in slight disbelief and wonderment at Mai's words, "As weapons, really? Wow gosh I never knew that people could be so...Cruel."

Though she had been on the streets since she had ran away from home most of the time her experience had been very pleasant. It was rare she had bumped into anything bad. Shaking the thoughts off she gave Mai another smile, "So you have more children?" She asked raising a brow.

Truthfully she hadn't much experience with children. She'd grown up sooner than she should have. But it wasn't necessarily bad of course. She thought she'd turned out just fine.

She smiled a bit shyly at Mai and her pale face flushed just a bit, "Again if I can do anything to re-pay the kindness ya'll have shown me just let me know."

Those piercing blues looked about a bit before looking back to the other vampire, "So how does a newbie vamp get a job around here anyway? I mean before I was on the streets but I don't think that's much of an option anymore."

Giving a slight shrug then. The Inn was nice but it would be even more great to make money so she could be in a more secure place.
