We went and broke into his dad's workshop. I mean....I guess it doesn't count as breaking in? Not really. It's his dad's place, so it's his palce too....It's just, it's kinda ethically wrong becuase me and Nicky shouldn't *be* here at the just yet. And it's wrong because time travel and everything.
Egh. It's difficult... Kruger died, at some time just before Nicky got here. He mentioned some kind of cult, like those weirdos that pestered me (I wonder if dad and mamma made them stop...There was a loud bang a little while later. And then no more priests knocking on the door.) but much worse, I think.

Nicky's from 2033, but *I'm* from 2030, so Kruger dies in *my* future, and Nicky's present. So I shouldn't mess with it.....
That said, it's *my* future. And if there's one thing I learned from dad, aside from not messing with time....And to never bet with a sicilian when death is on the line.....
It's that the future's not on traintracks, but more like a bumper car.....On train tracks....covered in ice....On a barge in the middle of the ocean....On train tracks.
Yeah, I didn't really understand what he was talking about either. but I think his point was that time likes to go in a straight line, a fluid line, but it'll try and go the way it's meant to and if you change it too much, you derail it, and derailed bumpercars on ice, on traintracks, in the middle of the ocean on a barge, on traintracks is a bad thing....I guess?
Soooo, maybe Kruger dying is just a little detour that can be nudged the right way again?
