Personality: Friendly, and outgoing she tends to play up her Southern accent in order to play down her intelligence. Doesn?t listen to gossip and will eventually think less of anyone that tries to shove such things down her throat. She?s a person that believes what she can prove, an intellectual type through and through? except when it comes to her family and then it doesn?t matter what evidence there is or isn?t, she?ll stick up for them.

Talents & Abilities: She?s only good at a few things but those things she?s REALLY good at. She?s won several national Pool championships, she hasn?t met a computer she couldn?t crack. Nominally good at darts, and drinking men under the table, she also has the basic knowledge required to run a farm, because she had to help her parents growing up.

Strengths: Can learn just about anything that deals with pure brain power if she sets her sights on it. Has learned several new languages since coming to Rhydin, mostly so she could understand some of the files she was hacking. Tends to have a cool head in nearly any situation, this trait alone is worth gold in her family.

Faults: Although usually an affable and friendly person she has a vindictive streak, spark that in her and you?re likely going to find out how good she is at what she does.

Brief Bio: Early on she figured out she had a gift for science and computers. As prone to mischief as many of her cousins her form of reveling in that aspect of her personality was to hack into the computers of big name companies and private networks of reclusive millionaires.

That went on for a few years until she hacked into the wrong computer at the age of seventeen and found herself in a heap of hot water. The gentleman she she hacked was a business man that did the majority of his work in Rhydin and when he had her brought in to 'discuss' her activities he found her attitude and aptitude refreshing and offered her a job.

She's been traveling back and forth from Rhydin to Georgia to a few other adjacent planes for five years now. Her family thinks she has a security job in the government and is living in D.C... up until now that cover story worked like a charm.

Occupation: Unemployed at the moment, but formerly an executive assistant to the Vice President of OnBoard Records, NYC.

Personality: Compared to much of her family, Austin is quiet and reserved. This can probably be attributed to her love of Opera. She likes a good party as much as the next Daniels, but she?ll usually sit back and watch from a distance. She?s not a very good drinker, usually sticking to wine or beer. If she starts shooting the hard stuff, something?s on her mind that she doesn?t want there.

Talents & Abilities: Austin can sing quite well. Her experiences in NY left her a little shy about doing it in public anymore, though she was, at one time, semi-well known in the south; singing at a number of private functions and public events, albeit at smaller, localized venues.

While her vocal abilities have always had a way of holding an audience enraptured, in her short time in Rhydin she?s found that some people seem to have stronger reactions than she was used to previously. There does not seem to be rhyme or reason to who is affected or how they'll be affected.

Strengths: Singing, obviously. She?s also quite the memo taker (inside joke). She can usually disguise her accent almost completely. She will lose the disguise when angry, very comfortable and relaxed, or drunk. Once someone knows her, they can learn gauge what level she is at by how much of her Georgia accent is slipping through. She can hold her own in verbal battles and she?s pretty damned good with a shotgun too.

Faults: She?s pretty hard on herself over failing to get anywhere in the Opera world. She can cook well enough to feed herself, but the only meal she?d ever cook for anyone else is a big southern breakfast. Any other meal would be an enormous embarrassment. She has a huge weakness for desserts and a good bottle of wine.

Brief Bio: Austin dresses conservatively, preferring a business casual look. She?ll wear jeans if she?s working or they are otherwise called for. If she?s wearing a dress, it is either Sunday or a special occasion. She?s had a few relationships, but is rather conservative in that arena too. She plays her cards close to the vest and will keep a lot of things under wraps and to herself. She has a tendency to downplay her own feelings and emotions. She?s got a good listening ear for her family and never judges them, though her baby sister gets a little over-protected at times. Someone once described Austin as a Lonely Island .

Occupation: Cheyenne?s first and (thus far) only job in Georgia has been working at the Thomaston Roller Rink. Mostly behind the snack bar, but she also helps with skate rentals, cleaning up and the like.

Personality: An old soul at heart, even though she is the youngest of all the Daniels ?kids?. Usually even-tempered and sweet, she?s always willing to lend a hand or ear to anyone who needs it. Cheyenne is outgoing and friendly, having a smile for practically anyone, but she does have a temper if it?s brought out (although it takes a lot for this to happen!) Her family really are some of her favorite people, and she?ll go to just about any length to help them out. She has a special affection for her closest cousin, Jackie, as well as Austin and Dakota, which is clear in the way she interacts with them.

Talents & Abilities: Cheyenne is well known for her insight and ability to deliver helpful advice. Her most loyal ?follower? would be Jackie, who often comes to Chey in the middle of night to work through problems. Chey also doles out this advice at the skating rink snack bar to friends and strangers alike. She can also weld!

Strengths: She is extremely easy to get along with, almost always animated and talkative. She makes friends easily, is open and easy to talk to. At heart she is a peacekeeper and is adept at talking through problems instead of throwing punches (although she can do this and isn?t half bad, either!) Chey is kindhearted and considerate of others.

Faults: Being the ?baby?, Cheyenne is often looked after by most of her relations. An independent girl, she dislikes having people fuss over her. Thusly, she sometimes has trouble asking for help and can try and take care of things by herself that she should really have some assistance on. It can make her disregard the danger in things in favor of proving she can do it on her own. She sometimes doubts herself and tends to think she?s not as smart or talented as Austin or Dakota (especially Austin.) Chey can also be overly trusting of people she has just met, sometimes forgetting that not everyone is a decent person.

Brief Bio: If someone would ask her, Cheyenne would say there wasn?t much to tell. At seven years younger than Austin and nine younger than Dakota, she was a ?surprise? baby and left at home when the other two had moved on to other things. She has always gotten along well with her parents and although there is plenty of love, with her being a much younger child and unexpected, Alma and Clem Daniels gave her a little more leniency to run wild. She didn?t do much with this except start drinking a little earlier and falling in love with the outdoors.

Cheyenne has always had much love and extreme respect for her older siblings. Austin for her beautiful voice and poise, and Dakota for his service with the armed forces and his laid back ease in almost all aspects of life. She sees them both as role models and truly tries to make them proud of herself.

Cheyenne has worked at the skating rink since she was fifteen and truly enjoys the work and the people. She has a secret desire to go to nursing school and become a trauma nurse, so that she can help others, but is hesitant that she?s not smart enough. (Note- this is not something that she has ever spoken to anyone about, so any similarities between other family members is pure coincidence.)

She was never one who had a huge desire to leave Thomaston. She wanted to travel, but never saw it as something she would accomplish. Her siblings and many of her cousins started leaving town and Chey found herself envious, although she didn?t really think about following. Jackie?s showing up at her house in the middle of a night seeking advice is what brought her out of Georgia and into RhyDin, a very strange place that nonetheless is starting to fit her.

* Whenever Jackie comes to Chey for advice, she?ll afterward get Chey a small bauble or trinket as a way of saying thanks. These are affectionately called Cracker Jackies and the cache has grown to a large number over the years. Cheyenne knows exactly when and why each one was given. She has recorded them all in a dog eared notebook that she keeps in a safe place.
* Rifles and shotguns were staples in her house and Chey has been handling and using those since she was a little girl. Jackie was responsible for teaching her what she knows about handguns.
* Although she?d never admit it, her self esteem is not exactly where it could be. She feels like she has a lot to live up to, even though no one else has ever given her a reason to feel this way.

Occupation: When he can, he?s a substitute teacher for Upson County School District. Recently graduated from Gordon State College with a B.S in Biology (with a Secondary Teaching certification), Associate degree in Health and Physical Education.

When he?s not teaching, which is most of the time, he works on a maintenance crew for the Upson County Road Department.

Personality: The third and youngest of the Daniels boys, Ford claims that his parents kept at it until they got it right and then had Jackie because there was no point in another boy after that. Not that he believes it, but it?s a way to get under his brothers? skins. He manages to pull off with a good natured grin that leaves them forgetting why they were mad at him five seconds later. He?s also the most studious of his siblings, with a serious, bookish side that he rarely lets people see. Why spoil the illusion?

Talents & Abilities: Ford has an innate charm that puts most people at ease. He?s adept at reading emotions and reactions, and smart enough to adapt. That easy charm and ready smile make him popular, socially. Conversely, it?s easy for him to melt into the background of things and go unnoticed, a trick he finds extremely useful at times.

Strengths: Despite, or maybe because he had to deal with the ?Daniels Boys? reputation his brothers earned, Ford?s developed a thick skin. He lets insults rolls off his back, and is more like Rhett than Colt in that he won?t step into a brawl when there?s an alternative that ends without a trip to the walk-in clinic.

Like his brothers and sister, he knows his way around outdoors ? camping, hunting, fishing, swimming, four-wheeling (and tailgating). He?s a natural teacher, outdoors or in the classroom.

Faults: It?s possible to be too easy-going, and popularity comes with a price. He?s most comfortable on the periphery of things, rather than having the spotlight focused on him. He also lets things that bother him slide until he can?t stand it anymore. When he blows up, he blows up big.

Brief Bio: Ford idolized his older brothers growing up, particularly Rhett, whose heels he hounded daily. As the youngest of Beau and Lula Anne?s boys, however, he also found himself constantly compared to both Rhett and Colt, both a blessing and a curse. As a result, he avoided some activities they were particularly successful with. When Colt excelled in football, Ford dropped it and poured his energy into track and field. Since Rhett joined the Army, Ford avoided ROTC.

It has always looked like Ford didn?t have to work hard to get what he wanted, but in reality, he did. While he always had good grades in school, he preferred to downplay his accomplishments and struggles. He told everyone he used Pell Grants and a small track scholarship to pay for college. In reality, an academic scholarship and a series of part-time jobs paid for his school.

He graduated with honors in May 2012 and returned home to Thomaston, hoping to get on at the middle or high school teaching science and coaching track. When no job for the new school year materialized, he put himself on the substitute call list and went back to work full-time with the road crew, a job he held every summer since he was sixteen. Lately, he?s been thinking about getting on with the state park service, but hasn?t acted on it.
